Abstract

As main tourist attraction in Bogor, Bogor Botanical Garden could play a significant role in contributing to a better environment and appreciation to God’s blessing. This research tries to review the actual assessment of Bogor Botanical Garden performance as tourist attractions using tri hita karana concept and corporate social responsible (CSR) principles. Both tri hita karana concept and CSR principles has similar objective and can complement each other very well. It is concluded that both concepts are applicable and could enhance Bogor Botanical Garden role in promoting better environment and appreciation to God’s blessing. The implementation of tri hita karana has been done in harmony with local wisdom, whilst the CSR is supported by private corporations.

Abstract

historic buildings, Chinese festival, heritage cuisine and old town atmosphere that’s so unique you can not find in other places in Bogor City. Besides its potential cultural attraction and heritage cuisine, Suryakencana Bogor Chinatown Region has potential historic tourism that moulded Suryakencana Region until present time dan has so many Chinese and European-mixed architectured buildings. Until now, those potential are still present, but slowly forgotten because the region is not not well-ordered and well-managed yet. All of those cultural tourism potential will be more visible and prominent to tourists if the cultural tourism potentialsare marketed by the right marketing strategy costumized with the tourist interests whose visited to the region. The used research method is mixed method. The research shows that the right segment for marketing Suryakencana Bogor Chinatown Region is the family with children segment because they are the frequent tourists who visited Suryakencana Bogor Chinatown Region for tasting the culinary in Bogor, thus the potential marketing segment for Suryakencana Bogor Chinatown Region.

Abstract

Indonesia, which has many resources of natural and extremely diverse culture, is a huge tourism potential. Museum was built in order to preserve those natural and cultural resources. Museum functions which are not limited only to maintenance and exhibit the collection has now expanded into one of the tourist attractions as a source of information and knowledge for tourists who visit it. As a tourist attraction, the Museum of Indonesia requires a strategy that can develop its potential as one of the leading cultural tourist attractions in TMII, moreover Indonesia. The methods used to determine the strategy in this research is SWOT analysis and figured by using SWOT Matrix and IE Matrix with the results of product development and diversification.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi eksisting taman kota sebagai daya tarik di Kota Bogor, menganalisis pilihan taman kota berdasarkan motivasi kegiatan, dan mendeskripsikan strategi pengembangan pariwisata pada taman kota yang menjadi prioritas utama. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) yang dibantu dengan Software Expert Choice 11 dalam proses perhitungannya serta analisis Strength, weaknesses , Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) adalah metode-metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa tingkat kepentingan dari empat kriteria motivasi kegiatan yang ada; rekreasi adalah motivasi kegiatan yang dominan, sedangkan untuk lima pilihan alternatif taman kota; Taman Sempur merupakan prioritas utama taman kota. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pengembangan strategi pariwisata di taman kota dengan memaksimalkan kekuatan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Secara garis besar strategi yang dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut : (1) membuat Sempur Fast Run, (2) mengadakan Loveable City Movement, (3) membuat Free Walking Tour.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur tingkat kepentingan daya tarik ekowisata Citamiang, Jawa Barat, bagi wisatawan dan juga kepercayaan wisatawan terhadap daya tarik tersebut. Sesuai dari hasil analisis Fishbein bahwa atraksi yang sangat dipercaya sebagai daya tarik ekowisata adalah atraksi trek herbal yakni dengan skor 2.04. Trek herbal memiliki point edukasi yang penting untuk wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Citamiang. Sedangkan sikap konsumen terbesar ada di atribut Jalan, yakni sebesar 10,43. Infrastruktur yang ada di Citamiang memang sudah dianggap baik oleh wisatawan. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat dibuat program interpretasi verbal dan non verbal yang sesuai untuk daya tarik ekowisata ini yaitu ‘Meet The Herbs’ sebagai program verbal dan ‘Find More Indonesia’ sebagai program non verbal. Sasarannya adala remaja-dewasa, karena karakteristik wisatawan yang datang ke Citamiang didominasi oleh remaja-dewasa. Program tersebut ditujukan agar wisatawan dapat menikmati dan sekaligus mendapatkan edukasi lingkungan.
