Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) which emerged in 2020 has an impact on many countries including Indonesia. Pakpahan (2020) stated that the sectors implicated in Indonesiaare tourism, trade and investment. The business sector in Indonesia is dominated by Micro, Smalland Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of this research is to study internal factors andexternal factors that support the competitiveness of processed fish MSMEs in Rembang Regencyin the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research methodology uses SWOT analysis. Theresults of the SWOT analysis show that internal factors have a score of 5.80 while externalfactors have a score of 6.42.

Abstract

Financial intelligence in the competition is absolutely necessary in today's modern society. Deemed necessary, due to the financial intelligence that includes how a person manages financial-owned well is capital to improve the welfare of each individual. This study intends to analyze the effect of learning in college and family financial education to student financial behavior, and the impact of the financial literacy of students to the financial behavior of students with student research object STIE 'YPPI' Rembang. Research shows that learning in higher education and financial education affect student financial literacy, while financial literacy have an impact on the financial behavior of the students. Additionally, financial literacy proved able to moderate learning in college and family financial education in student financial behavior.Keyword : Financial Literacy, Financial education, Financial behavior

Abstract

The role of UMKM to the economic development of a region is very important, as well as with Rembang regency. Strengthening the competitiveness of UMKM become strategic effort in winning the competition between UMKM in a region. Therefore, finding the factors that affect the competitiveness of UMKM become necessary for the development of UMKM.The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect UMKM in Rembang. Competitiveness factors are measured using product advantages, human resources, and product marketing using IT. The sample in this research is the leading sector of UMKM in Rembang such as Batik Lasem, Processed Fish, and Furniture. Sampling method using purposive sampling with the number of research respondents is 100 respondents. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis method by conducting instrument test (validity test and reliability test), data analysis technique (multiple linear regression test, test of determination, and t-test).Validity and reliability test is done with 30 respondents which are all valid and reliable results. Result of t-test proves that independent variable consisting of product superiority, human resources, and product marketing by using IT have a significant positive effect to competitiveness of UMKM. In F test, get result of significance value smaller than 0,05. This proves that simultaneously the independent variables affect the dependent variable. Determination test proves that product superiority, human resources, and marketing of products using IT affect the competitiveness of 56%, while the rest is influenced by factors outside the independent variable in this study.  Keywords: UMKM, Competitiveness, Featured Products

Abstract

This study aims to prove and analyze the influence of investment decisions, funding decisions, dividend policies and profitability partially on the value of the company. This study also aims to provide consideration for investors in making investments. The research population includes manufacturing companies of consumer goods industry sector which is and still listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2014 of 36 companies. The sample was chosen by purposive sampling technique and obtained by 10 companies with observation value 30. Data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the result of data analysis, it is concluded that investment decision has positive effect not significant to value, funding decision has positive effect not significant to firm value, dividend policy has negative effect not significant to firm value, while profitability have positive significant effect to firm value. The value of determination coefficient (R2) of 0.927 indicates that investment decision variable, funding decision, dividend policy and profitability able to explain change of variable of company value equal to 92,7%, while the rest equal to 7,3% influenced by other variable outside research. Keywords: Company value, investment decision, funding decision, dividend policy and profitability.
