Abstract

Abstract This research start from the condition in the field in PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi, where the heavy equipment damage to often, it make production target never reach.   To reach the target, is important to buy some new heavy equipment, but it can make some problem about the cost of investment. There are 3 option to buy some new heavy equipment, one of the option will be a best option and can make the company get profit. For this problem the writer make this research, to know the best alternative to the company.In this research the writer use quantitative research method and also use descriptive method. From this reseach we will know comparation from each option. Sample will represent all of heavy equipment of PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi have.Based on this research, we know that buy a new heavy equipment cash is the best option for the company, where the company will get benefit from this option. This result become from trial with Net Present Value method, where the cash option get the higgest NPV value, while when we test with Internal Rate of Return after pass the incremental analitysis produce the result that the cash option be a best option and have the most benefit for the company and it can apply for all kind of heavy equipment in PT. Abstract

Abstract. PT Koto Alam Sejahtera located in Nagari Koto Alam, Pangkalan Koto Baru Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota District, West Sumatra Province. The production target of    PT Koto Alam Sejahtera is 30.000 tons / month, meanwhile the actual production is 16.965,6 tons / month. Based on observations, the road grade is still high, no cross slope is visible and two conveyances cant’t pass at the same time because the width on the road is narrow.This type of research is applied research by combining theory and field data to solve problems. The actual road width ranged is from 6,35-12,15 meters while theoretically is 9 meters. The actual bend road width ranges is from 6,20-12,70 meters while theoretically is 12 meters. Actual road grades range from 3,49%-19,44% while the ideal road grade is 8%. The cross slope value for the 9 meter road width is 0,04 and the height difference is 18 cm. The superelevation value for the 12 meter bend width is 0,04 and the height difference is 48 cm.There were 7 straight road width segments that needed to be added and 2 bend road width segments, and there are 8 segments that need to be downgraded. Productivity of Mitsubishi Fuso 220 PS with actual conditions of 16.965,6 tons / month. The estimated increase in the productivity of Mitsubishi Fuso 220 PS after an evaluation is 27.593,89. Theoretical productivity of Mitsubishi Fuso 220 PS after the improvement of work efficiency is 34.395,3 tons / month.Keywords:  Road Geometry, Production, Dump Truck, Work Efficiency, Cross Slope

Abstract

PT Semen Padang is planning to increasing production of limestone of 650,749 tons from actual production 580.17 ton. Increased production of limestone will cause an increasing the cost of production, so the planning of main cost production of limestones per ton from the mining location to the hauling front to a dumping area is required. This cost of production was determined by how much mechanical equipments used from mining front to the dumping area. Afterwards, the cost is also influeced by the depth of the explosive holes. The depth of explosive holes should be customized by the target production from the company.Productivity of drilling machine Furukawa HCR 1500-ED II is 1.519,86 ton/hour. Productivity of loader digging equipment Backhoe Caterpillar 6030 (EC-03) is 1.292,37 tons/hour. Productivity of hauling equipment Dumptruck Komatsu HD 785-7 is427,62 tons/hour, so to reach the production target 650,749 ton is required 1 unit of drilling machine Furukawa HCR 1500 – ED II, 1 unit of Backhoe Caterpillar 6030 (EC-03), and 3 units of Dumptruck Komatsu HD 785-7. An appropriate from the depth of explosive holes to achive production target is 8.999,43 m. Production cost per ton of limestone from the mining front to the dumping area that must be issued by company in April 2017 is Rp. 11,574.71 andthe cost of production per ton oflime stone after analyzed isRp. 10.349,08 so that companies can reduce the production costs amounted to 10.58%.

Abstract

PT. Bina Bara Sejahtera targets overburden demolition of 175.000 bcm/month, but all that has not been achieved. Efforts to achieve the production target of overburden from the work of mechanical devices is to calculate the actual work efficiency and increase the efficiency of mechanical work. Actual work efficiency Komatsu PC300 Excavators that work on fleet 1 53,91%, fleet 2 52,22%, fleet 3 50,53% and fleet 4 51,47%, Volvo BMA35C ADT on fleet 1 55,15%, fleet 2 50,81%, fleet 3 50,36% and fleet 4 is 52,08%. Work efficiency after increasing efficiency Komatsu PC300 Excavators that work on fleet 1 67,97%, fleet 2 67,22, fleet 3 64,47% and fleet 4 66,47%. Volvo BMA35C ADT on fleet 1 74,91%, fleet 2 67,22%, fleet 3 64,47% and fleet 4 66,47%. Actual production on the dismantling of fleet 1 overburden 28.944.24 bcm/month, fleet 2 28.449.67 bcm/month, fleet 3 22.955.50 bcm/month and fleet 4 36.844.61 bcm/month, after increasing work efficiency dismantling fleet overburden 1 53.402 bcm/month, fleet 2 52.168.92 bcm/month, fleet 3 40.365,49 bcm/month and fleet 4 60.548.61 bcm/month. Operating cost of disassembling operations for Volvo BMA35C Komatsu PC300 and ADT Excavator overburden Rp.2.317.249.728. Operating cost after increasing work efficiency Rp.3.019.797.720. Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam - UPO is a coal underground mining company that conducted mining in the areas Ombilin I (Sawahluwung), Ombilin II (Waringin-Sugar) and Ombilin III (Sigalut).On the mining production in the underground mining, PT. Bukit Asam-UPO used exhaust ventilation system with the quantity of air out is 35.56 m3/s, whereas the intake air quantity is 35.07 m3/s through the three inlets, they are Adit Sawahluwung is 25.28 m3/s, Lurah Sapan I is 7.14 m3/s and Lurah Sapan II is 2.65 m3/s. The amount of air entering and the air out there is a difference of 0.49 m3/s which may be caused by air leaks at Mine Vein.The air quantity available on the front J6C is 4.02 m3/s, front J9C is 3.17 m3/s, front J11C is 2.94 m3/s and front Dosco is 3.15 m3/s. While the minimum air quantity to be supplied is for front J6C is 2.17 m3/s, front J9C is    2.50 m3/s, front J11C is 2.50 m3/s and front Dosco is 2.17 m3/s.In terms of air quality in underground mines Sawahluwung already on the threshold value has been determined, for CH4 <1%, CO2 <0.5%, CO <0.0005%, O2> 19%, the effective temperature (Te) at 21 0 C – 32 0 C and the relative humidity (RH) 65% - 95%. Keywords: Ventilation Air Requirements, Quantity and quality of the mine air

Abstract

Ground vibration effect directly caused by blasting activities. This effect can be negative value if hedamaged against the influence of the wall bech or building structures. To generate a safe blasting necessary measurements of ground vibration against vibration resulting from blasting so that each can be known maximum number of explosives are best used for a certain distance. By analysis the peak particle velocity and scale distance then it can be determined the value of the peak particle velocity that’s safe and appropriate for the conditions of the surrounding rocks. Blasting activities carried out at PIT south mine air laya PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk with a pattern of blasting hole by hole, using a surface delay detonator 109 ms, 42 ms and in hole delay detonator 500 ms. Blasting is not done with one explosion, but rather is done gradually or made into some Initiation Point (IP) blasting alternately after done checking. The system uses non-electric and triggers the initial explosion in the form of electric detonators connected to the blasting machine using lead wire. The results of the measurement of the soil vibration obtained PPV average actual 1,72 mm/s, PPV the average regression analysis (prediction) 1,64 mm/s. For geting value PPV 2 mm/s at a distance of 500 m maximum field required as much 57,594 kg of ANFO. The use of blasting method with long period dalay, blasting made into some IP and Line Drilling is already effective and economical to reduce vibration Standard PT. BA PPV 2 mm/s and the SNI 7571 PPV 3 mm/s.

Abstract

Increased in cement demand for development has made PT. Semen Padang increased its cement production. Increased cement demand means increased demand for limestone as a base material for manufacturing cement. Based on data from PT. Semen Padang, the limestone mining production target in August 2016 was 718,000 tons, while the realization of the production 580,000 tons or about 81% of the production target. To determine the productivity of the loading and hauling equipment it is necessary to do some calculation phases. Up to this time, if the process of calculating the productivity of the equipement is done manually, it will take a long time and less practical. And it is expected that a program that can help with the productivity calculation process.Production calculation program is programmed using visual basic programming language. This program can be used to calculate the productivity of loading and hauling equipment. After the analysis and calculation done with the program, improving the productivity of the equipment must be done. To improve the productivity of the equipment, an improvement in the work efficiency of the equipment and the bucket fill factor excavator was made.Calculation results using the program, for the productivity of the loading equipment after the improvement the productivity of dump truck Komatsu HD 785 with Hitachi EX 2500-6 excavator is 721,179.27 tons /month. The calculation results using the program with the manual is not much different. The difference result of the calculation is caused by integrating the numbers behind the comma

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Mandala Karya Prima is a mining contractor trusted by PT. Mandiri Intiperkasa for coal mining activities. In the overburden dismantling process, PT. Mandala Karya Prima uses the Hitachi EX-1900-6 excavator with a 12 m3 bucket capacity. This research was motivated by the planned overburden dismantling activity using Hitachi EX1900-6 excavators of 600 bcm / hour not reaching the target. The actual productivity of Hitachi EX1900-6 excavators for wet clay material is 556.8 lcm / hour and for sandstone material is 548.9 lcm / hour.Components that influence the productivity of excavators include material types, front loading conditions, loading methods, and skill operators. These components make work efficiency, bucket fill factor and cycle time not optimal. The actual time cycle when collecting data in the field is 38.63 seconds for clay wet material and 31.64 for sandstone material. By taking the example of cycle time, the clay wet material is 38.63 seconds, the digging rate should be 812.78 lcm / hour. But the reality in the field, the productivity of overburden dismantling of wet clay material is 556.8 lcm / hour. This loss of productivity occurs due to obstacles namely moving the front, repairing fronts, waiting hauler, spotting time, preparing position, and operator needs. Of these obstacles, the biggest contributor to loss of productivity is the waiting hauler which is ± 150 lcm / hour.Based on the theoretical formula of excavator productivity, factors that can be improved to optimize excavator productivity are work efficiency, bucket fill factor and cycle time. Efforts were made to improve work efficiency, namely dumptruck optimization, equipment management, changing loading patterns, and spotting dumptruck without maneuvering. Efforts are made to reduce cycle time, namely changing the digging pattern and making the optimum bench height. While the effort made to increase bucket fill factor is applying the right excavation technique.Keywords:  Productivity, Excavator, Cycle Time, Bucket Fill Factor,  Job Efficiency.

Abstract

PT.Artamulia Tatapratama is a company engaged in the field of coal mining. PT.Artamulia Tatapratama is located at Tanjung Belit Village, Jujuhan District, Muaro BungoRegency.In the overburden hauling process to the disposal area there is a dumptruk queue atsome point of the road and long stand by time on the loader, this can cause the loader andhauler productivity to be small so that the production target of 1.190.838 bcm / monthoverburden is not reached. This incompetence is due to a combination of unsuitable toolscausing the occurrence of a waiting gateway or a queue of loads when it is loaded by aloading device. One way to achieve the production targets is required appropriate fleetmanagement.Based on the theory of queue, the waiting time for the conveyance at the time will beloaded is 13.62 minutes on fleet 1, 22.88 minutes on fleet 2 and 14.58 minutes on fleet 3.Fleet setting based on the queue theory is 1 unit PC 1250 serving 6 units of HD 465 on fleet1, 1 unit PC 1250 serving 4 units of HD 465 on fleet 2, 1 unit PC 1250 serving 5 units of HD465 on fleet 3.

Abstract

Abstract. PT Riung Mitra Lestari as a company engaged in mining contractors with the main products overburden and coal production is also very dependent on production achievement. Based on data from the engineering department that in June 2017 there was a production loss of 203,4 BCM. Broadly speaking productivity contributors can be divided into 3 areas: front loading, main road, and disposal area. The main road greatly affects the productivity of loading equipment and its suitability with transport equipment (DT). PT Riung Mitra Lestari in December 2017 brought a new tool called Garmin VIRB XE. Hardware that is operated via wireless networks to cellphones and computers. Some important features in this tool such as photos, videos, speed, coordinates, elevation and slope of the road. Based on road conditions, give contribute 10.293 BCM of non-attainable production. The corrective action is the allocation of 1x DZ 85 for repair the road, making new roads to adjust the grade, and stockpiling with hard material. The results obtained from the study were an increase in the speed from 22.3 Km/hour to 26.1 Km/hour, as well as pressing the breakdown spring number from 16.3 times per month before repairs to 7.1 times per month.Keywords: Productivity, Speed, Garmin Virb Xe, Mine Road, Repair Road
