Abstract

AbstractThis paper is aimed at describing the use of ‘Tongue Twister’ to improve students’ pronunciation of /s/ and /∫/ consonants at junior high school students. This technique is applied to help junior high school to pronounce words that have similar sounds. This technique enables students to solve the problem by using tongue twister sentence given to them. ‘Tongue Twister’ allows students to practice the sentence repeatedly and to determine the appropriate sounds to each word.

Abstract

Empathy is an important ability that must be developed and developed in students representing youth, as human beings who experience a transition of empathy need students to be able to improve what other people think and think that might happen quarrels, fights, bullying, and other actions, the lives of students more calm and peaceful. Today there has been an erosion of empathy in students this is caused by dependence on gadgets, instrumental learning, competition, differences, depression, alcohol, and other. The purpose of this study is to increase students' empathy using group guidance with role playing techniques. This research is a quasi-experimental study using quantitative methods and the non-equivalent control group design. The subject of this study were students of class VIII MT S N 1 Payakumbuh. The research instrument used an empathy scale that met the requirements of the research instrument, then analyzed using the Faired sample t test and the independent sample t test. This research cannot be applied to everyone, it needs further development. The findings of this study indicate group guidance with effective play techniques to improve students. These findings will be discussed further.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the HOTS-oriented worksheets in the guided inquiry model on the material of impulse momentum and harmonic vibrations in class X SMA/MA. The study was Research and Development (R&D) by using Borg and Gall model, which consisted of potensial problems, data collection, product design, design validations, product trials, product revisions, trial usage, product revisions and mass products. However, this research was limited to the design revision. Validation is done using instruments which was filled by experts. The validation of this research was carried out by three physics lecturers at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Padang State University. Based on the validation result by three validators, the validity obtained were 93.1 % in a very valid category. This means that HOTS-oriented worksheets in the guided inquiry model can be used in the physics learning process on impulse momentum and harmonic vibrations in class X SMA/MA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik karena perencanaan dan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran belum maksimal. Tujuan penelitian secara umum adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu di kelas V SD Negeri 17 Pakan Kurai Kota Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah pendidik dan 24 peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 17 Pakan Kurai Kota Bukittinggi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret semester II tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Prosedur penelitian terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada aspek : a) RPP siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 87,5% dengan kualifikasi baik (B) meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 97,2% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (SB). b) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran aspek pendidik siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 84,37% dengan kualifikasi baik (B) meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 93,75% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (SB), pelaksanaan pembelajaran aspek peserta didik pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 82,81% dengan kualifikasi baik (B) meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 93,75% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (SB). c) Hasil belajar pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 75,16 dengan kualifikasi baik (B) meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84,5 dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (SB). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu di kelas V SD Negeri 17 Pakan Kurai Kota Bukittinggi.
