Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive multimedia product in Biologi class X high school subject that are valid and practical. This type of reseacrh is  development research or better known as Research and Development (R & D). The research use development model 4 – D (Four D). The development produce in the researchthe research consisted of 4 stages: define, design, develop, and dissiminate. The validity test of product is done by 3 validator, they are two media expert validator and one material expert validator. Product trial are conduct on 20 student grade X MIA-2  at SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Guguak Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota with the aim to knowing the practically of the product being develop. The instrument of the research than use are questionnaire, documentation, and research format.The result of the material validity was find the mean 4.31 with presentage 86% categorized very well, and the result of the media was find the mean was 4,44 with presentage 89% categorized very well. Product praticality test result was find 4,40 with presentage 88% categorized very well. So that, the writer can concluded that the product of interactive multimedia can be use on learning by the student because suitable with meid eligibility criteria.

Abstract

This type of research is research development (Research and Development / R & D). This research uses Borg and Gall development model with a modified step that is (1) Doing Planning, (2) Developing the initial product, (3) Conducting product validation, (4) Conducting a limited trial and (5) Result of the final product. The product validity test is done by three validators, two media validators, and one material validator. The product test was conducted to 21 students of the FTP UNP Department of KTP who took the Multimedia Computer Courses semester July-December 2017. The instruments used were a questionnaire, assessment format, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative to know the quality of interactive multimedia developed. The results of the analysis show that interactive multimedia for multimedia learning, in the material aspect is in the "Good" category, for the media aspect is in the "Very Good" category. Furthermore, the results of product practicality test that has been done is in the category of "Very Good". These results show that interactive multimedia is practically used as a source of learning and alternative media in multimedia learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi Rotasi dan Revolusi Bumi di SD Murni Padang, Kota Padang. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimenal dengan rancangan penelitian Post test Only Control Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan obserasi dan tes tulis. Analisis data dengan Uji t (Independent Sample t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan Wordwall dengan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan rata-rata nilai posttest untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,77 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 66,72. Dari analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t di peroleh = 4,638 > 2,021. Hal ini berarti menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nilai posttest yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas VI di SD Murni Padang.

Abstract

This study was motivated by several facts found in the field. Students lack understanding of the material presented by teachers because the material is quite difficult to understand. This is due to the limited teaching materials used in social studies learning activities, which are not very interesting to students. There is also a limitation in the use of interactive teaching materials that can improve students' independent learning activities. In order to overcome these problems, E-Module teaching materials were developed to help make learning more interesting and to help improve students' understanding and willingness to learn independently. This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective E-Module for Grade VII social studies on Theme 4, “Turning Diversity into Strength,” to be used in the learning process.This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this development research is the Plomp development model. There are three stages in the Plomp development model, namely preliminary research (initial investigation), by conducting a needs analysis, prototype phase, by designing the social studies e-module product until it is valid and practical, and assessment phase, by testing its effectiveness. The validity test was conducted by three experts. The practicality test consisted of three stages, namely one-to-one evaluation, small group, and large class practicality. The effectiveness test was conducted in the seventh grade at Pertiwi Siteba Private Junior High School. The data type was primary data. The data collection instruments consisted of interviews, field observations, documentation, product validation questionnaires, student practicality questionnaires, educational practicality questionnaires, and multiple-choice test questions. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study show product validation from subject matter experts with a percentage of 4.28 in the “highly valid” category, validation from media experts with a percentage of 4.85 in the “highly valid” category, student response questionnaires in the one-to-one evaluation with a percentage of 94.2% in the “highly feasible” category, small group evaluation with a percentage of 92.7% in the “Very Appropriate” category, and the results of the field test practicality with a percentage of 94.3% in the “Very Appropriate” category and the results of the assessment phase with a percentage of 78.26% in the “Good” category. The conclusion of this study is that the E-Module for Social Studies Based on the Guided Inquiry Learning Model for Grade VII Junior High School Social Studies is valid, practical, and effective for use in learning activities.
