Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method in controlling inventory with the aim of reducing low inventory costs. By implementing EOQ, companies can avoid stock outs which disrupt the smooth supply process of salted mackerel fish and save on storage costs and ordering costs. This study aims to evaluate stock management of salted mackerel fish in PO. Sinar Indah during 2023 using EOQ. The research method used is field research with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the EOQ method. The research results show that the inventory management approach used by PO. Sinar Indah is still simple and traditional. Their policy on the supply of salted mackerel fish has not been consistent, with ordering frequencies that are not optimal. For example, the most efficient order quantity is 37 quintals per order with a frequency of 9 times a year, in contrast to the previous approach which placed orders 43 times with a smaller quantity each time. Economically, implementing EOQ can reduce total inventory costs from IDR 26,819,600 to IDR 10,403,000. Thus, this research provides an illustration that the application of EOQ can improve the efficiency of PO stock management of salted mackerel fish. Beautiful Rays significantly.

Abstract

The widespread practice of riba (usury) through conventional financial systems—such as interest-based loans and consumer financing—has triggered a crisis of trust among Indonesian Muslims. This study aims to analyze the Masyarakat Tanpa Riba (MTR, or Society Without Usury) movement in South Kalimantan as a form of resistance against usurious systems and as an effort to build an economy based on Islamic values. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that MTR fosters anti-riba awareness through a combination of scriptural (naqli) references, spiritual reflection, and systematic educational methods. Its core strategies include tiered seminars, commitment reinforcement through the Ultimate Life Changing (ULC) sessions, and the cultivation of group solidarity via emotionally charged forums such as What I Feel Like Expression (WIFLE). The community reinterprets riba practices in contexts such as leasing, mortgages, and pilgrimage financing with a literalist reading of Islamic texts. The MTR movement not only provides practical solutions to debt crises but also enables lifestyle transformation and shifts in business practices among its members. This study highlights how religious values can serve as a catalyst for community-driven economic transformation and ethical reform. Strategi utama mereka meliputi seminar berjenjang, penguatan komitmen melalui forum ULC (Ultimate Life Changing), serta pembentukan solidaritas melalui ekspresi emosional kolektif seperti sesi What I Feel Like Expression (WIFLE).

Abstract

This article departs from the view that the construction of values /morals / ihsan in Islam cannot be separated from the construction offaith (akidah) and Islam (worship). Similar to the relationshipbetween ontology (wujud), epistemology (ma'rifah), and axiology(qimah). The classical Islamic tradition is very rich with thediscussion on the epistemology of value, and this needs to beaddressed when issues of faith, worship, and values becomeproblematic and are seen as dichotomous in moslem society. Theresults of the study: First, the epistemology of values in the intellectualrealm of Islam can be grouped into two main schools, namely: 1) Therational school with 'aql as a source of value and has the ability toknow good and bad, even to know Allah Swt. Also known as objectiveethics; 2) Traditional schools, with revelation or inspiration / intuitionas the basis of values. It is also called subjective ethics, because thescope of its application is in certain areas, namely the believers, whobelieve in the truth of the revelation. Second, the issue of values ormorals is closely related to knowledge of the ins and outs of the soulas is the opinion of rationalists (Muslim philosophers), but theexperience dimension also plays an important role as the opinion oftraditionalists / intuitionists. Third, the dichotomous view of thesource of value makes it very possible for the birth of disintegrationin the main pillars of Islam, namely: Iman, Islam, and Ihsan.
