In order to overcome inflation, many countries are employing currency redenomination policy. This is a public policy measure that simplifies the use and managing of the national currency of a country, through its expression in a new and smaller equivalent scale.   The goal of rupiah redenomination is to simplify the currency scale in accounting record systems and monetary statements, to strengthten rupiah value, and also to promote the equal growth of social and economical development of the country. Beforehand, low average inflation and economy stability  as the demanded factors for currency redenomination policy should be performed by the respected countries. Indonesia is already in this state of ideal economy condition for the policy. In spite of that; due to inadquate preparations, insufficient expense planning, and lack of citizen promptitude; therefore, rupiah redenomination policy is not immediately employed.Â

This research is motivated by the problem of poverty in Banjarmasin City which is caused by the imbalance between labor force growth and job creation. Increased destruction will have an impact on crime. This research aims to: 1) describe the efforts made to reduce crime in Banjarmasin. 2) illustrates that the increasing number of poverty and low income are one of the factors causing the increase in criminal cases in Banjarmasin. 3) describe the impact of poverty on crime in Banjarmasin. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression using the Eviews 12 program. The results of this research prove that poverty has a big impact on crime that occurs in the City of Banjarmasin, that is because the impact of crime only simultaneously has a significant influence on crime in the City of Banjarmasin, This can be seen from the results of the F Test where the Prob (F-Statistic) value = 0.103287 < 0.05 and F_statistics = 5.372431. The findings of this study indicate that unemployment does not have a direct effect on crime in Banjarmasin and is influenced by other factors. In Shariah Economics, it is important to implement economic justice and social assistance to prevent crime even though unemployment is high.

Indonesia faces a capital flight problem that fluctuates throughout the year, which could further affect the decline in Indonesian economic performance. The aim of the research was to test the relationship of capital flight with economic aspects such as national income, foreign debt, and tax revenues from 1990-2022. The estimates using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) model. The VECM estimates show that only the national income variables with a short-term and long-term relationship, the Granger causality test, informs there is no two-way causality relationship, and there is only a one-way causality relationship. The IRF and FEVD tests show that capital escape results in an increase in Indonesian foreign debt even though foreign debts eventually remain well-managed; on the other hand, capital evasion reduces national income and weakens the tax base in Indonesia because capital escapes are also in the form of tax evasion. Governments need to create economic stability to prevent capital evasion and improve tax compliance to avoid the widespread tax avoidance and evasion practices that lower tax revenues.

IntroductionThe Sharia consumer cooperative is one of the many legal forms of Islamic economic activity in Indonesia, including South Kalimantan Province. However, studies on the identity and rationality of this practice are still limited.ObjectivesThis research aims to understand how Islamic identity influences economic decisions and how Sharia economic rationality is reflected in the practices of consumer cooperatives. The selection of Arrahmah Sharia Consumer Cooperative (Koperasi Konsumen Syariah Arrahmah) as the subject of the study is based on the institution's claim to be "more Sharia" compared to other cooperatives or Sharia financial institutions.MethodA qualitative research method was employed using in-depth interviews and observations as data collection tools. Qualitative research was chosen for its relevance to case studies that required in-depth data exploration.ResultsThe findings indicate that Islamic identity plays a key role in shaping the economic preferences of cooperative members, whereas Sharia economic rationality is reflected in the principles of justice and sustainability. In the context of Arrahmah Sharia Consumer Cooperative, the institution's assertion of being "more Sharia" is driven by knowledge of fiqh muamalah, particularly the section on usury and its dangers conveyed by Salafi scholars in study forums, websites, and other mass media. This knowledge serves as the main foundation and source of community identity, which distinguishes them from other cooperatives or financial institutions.ImplicationsThe success of Sharia economics lies not only in economic rationality, but also in the understanding and application of religious identity in every aspect of economic activities. Both are complementary and mutually supportive in achieving sustainable economic development goals, in line with religious values.Originality/NoveltyThis study provides insights into the dynamics of identity and rationality in the context of Sharia economics, focusing on the practices of consumer cooperatives in South Kalimantan.

IntroductionThe Muslim community is making several efforts to reuse the dinar and dirham for transactions and other purposes in the current era.ObjectivesThis research examines the phenomenon of reusing dinar and dirham as alternative financial instruments in the South Kalimantan region. It aims to reveal the reasons behind the reuse of dinar and dirham and the form of activities carried out by the movement carried out by the contemporary Muslim community. MethodThis research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study on Komunitas Muamalah Kalsel, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies.ResultsThe results show that the main reason for using dinar and dirham is theological, namely an effort to restore more authentic economic practices according to Islamic teachings, with legitimacy from local clerical figures. The results also reveal the existence of a unique alms distribution model through Pasar Muamalah, which exchanges fiat money into dirhams to be distributed to underprivileged communities. The results also identified three critical aspects of a faith-based financial system, namely (1) the stability of the intrinsic value of precious metals, (2) criticism of the fiat-based financial system that is prone to inflation, and (3) efforts to uphold the principle of economic justice in transactions.ImplicationsThe Muslim community can consider reusing dinar and dirham to maintain the religious and economic aspects of their daily transactions.Originality/Novelty This study contributes to better understanding of application of dinar and dirham in modern society.
