Abstract

Abstract   This study was aimed at describing the preservation of traditional music of Gandang Sarunai in Nagari Sako Pasia Talang Alam Sarambi Sungai Pagu. This was a quatitative research which used descriptive analysis approach. The instruments of the research were camera, note-book and list of interview. The data was collected through observation, interview and photography. It then was classified into primary and secondary data. The result of the study indicated thet the preservation of traditional music of Gandang Sarunai in Nagari sako Utara Pasia Talang was done in non-formal way; learning throughy observing or watching the show, and legating the skill hereditarily or through art groups. There were three phases done in acquiring the skills of playing Gandang Sarunai through and so were in art groups. In society, Gandang Sarunai was performed in the ceremony of Pengangkatan Penghulu, wedding party, building Rumah Gadang, and welcoming the noble guests. Gandang Sarunai also had four function which were as emotional expression, entertainment, esthetics, and communication. Keywords : Art, gandang sarunai, penggunaan, pelestarian, fungsi

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that the students' learning achievement is low and there are still many students who have not reached the minimum completeness criteria that has been set. From 23 students only 10 students (43,7%) reaching minimum completeness criteria. And 13 students did not reach KKM (56,52%).This research is a classroom action research conducted on Grade V Students of SDN 6 Kadur Rupat Utara. The Research Instrument consists of Learning Devices used in this study based on Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) or known as Curriculum 2006. Learning tools consist of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheets. The first meeting of the first cycle of teacher activity is the average activity of teachers observed in cycle II has increased compared to cycle I. At the first meeting of the cycle I average teacher activity 60.71% in the category enough, the average teacher activity increased to 78.57% in the Good category.At the third meeting of cycle II, the average of 82.14% of the teacher activity was very good and at the fourth meeting with the average activity 89.25% in the Very Good category. The first meeting of the first cycle of student activity average 75% with sufficient category, at the second meeting the average activity increased to 82.14% with good category.In the third meeting of cycle II the average student activity 89.25% in very good category and at the fourth meeting increased compared to the previous meeting with an average of 96.42% student activity with very good category. Student learning outcomes after preliminary student data above minimum completeness criter only 10 people (43.47%) after cycle I increased up to 16 people (9,13%) after the second cycle increased more until reaching 22 people (14,59% ). Similarly, the average value obtained by students in the classical at the initial data is only 17.4 and after the first cycle increased by an average of 69.6 and in the second cycle increased by 95.65. This means that the classic value obtained by students has been above the minimum completeness criteriathat has been set.Keywords: Inquiry Learning Model, Learning Result Indonesian

Abstract

The Brain Based Learning (BBL) learning model builds students' knowledge based on the cognitive structure they already have and is based on how the brain works so that learning can be absorbed by the brain optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of the BBL model on the formation of students' character in elementary schools. Building character is an obligation not only at birth, but when the baby is in the womb. In addition, teachers, especially in elementary schools, have the same obligation in shaping character. In the process, teachers need to use a brain-based character education approach (neuroscience). This research uses qualitative research which is based on literature review. Based on the results of the study, it was found that quality education is education that is able to shape the character of its students. Character education is more effective if it uses a brain approach (neuroscience), because changing character begins with changing students' brains.

Abstract

Keberadaan prasarana olahraga di kabupaten Kuantan Singingi perlu dilakukan uji kelayakan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan penetapan Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi sebagai tuan rumah Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (PORPROV) Riau X Tahun 2021. Berdasarakan Surat Keputusan Gubernur Riau No: Kpts. 84/II/2019 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan Bagaimana Kelayakan Prasarana Olahraga Dalam Menghadapi Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (PORPROV) Riau X Tahun 2022(Studi kasus Sport Center Teluk Kuantan). Hasil penelitian ini dapat di simpulkan kelayakan Prasarana Olahraga yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Kuansing Meliputi Stadion Utama, Gelanggang Olahraga A dan Gelanggang Olahraga B tidak layak digunakan karena dalam keadaan rusak dan tidak sesuai dengan standar “Prasarana Olahraga berupa bangunan gedung olahraga berdasarkan peraturan menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga nomor 0445 tahun 2014”. Kerusakan prasarana Stadion Utama 86% sedangkan gelanggang Olahraga A 16% dan Gelanggang Olahraga B 16%. Untuk menjadikan Stadion Utama menjadi layak harus dilakukan perbaikan and membangun lintasan Atletik, sedangkan untuk gelanggang Olahraga A dan Gelanggang Olahraga B perlu di lakukan perbaikan dan mengatur jadwal pertandingan di karenakan gelanggang Olahraga A dan B mempunyai tipe C untuk lapangan pertandingan, hanya untuk pertandingan lokal.

Abstract

An important component of elementary school students' academic growth is their enthusiasm for reading, especially in the lower grades. The purpose of this study is to examine students' demands for illustrated storybooks, confirm the accuracy of the created books, gauge how useful they are for piqueing children's interest in reading, and measure the effects of utilizing these books in the classroom. This study uses a research and development methodology to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. The four steps of the research process define, design, develop, and disseminate are guided by the 4D model. The results of this study support the usefulness of employing illustrated storybooks to increase pupils' enthusiasm for reading. The storybooks are suitable to satisfy the demands of the pupils thanks to the creation and validation procedures. The storybooks' ability to encourage reading engagement among primary school pupils is shown by the favorable response from instructors and students regarding the usefulness of the books. This study makes a contribution to the field of education by offering instructors insightful information and a useful tool to raise their students' motivation for reading and general literacy ability.

Abstract

There are many factors that influence employee or employee performance at work. that performance is basically influenced by many factors, one of which is work motivation in carrying out tasks. One of the factors that can influence employee performance is work motivation, incentives (compensation), and leadership. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style on the performance of medical and non-medical service staff at Tarempa Hospital, Anambas Islands, Riau in 2024. This type of research uses a descriptive analytical survey with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was all the medical and non-medical service installation staff at Tarempa Regional Hospital, Anambas Islands, Riau, totaling 78 people. While the sample numbered 78 people, this population sampling was carried out with the total population. Data analysis was carried out using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. Based on the results of the chi-square test, it is known that the performance of medical and non-medical service staff has an influence on Militaristic Leadership Style, Paternalistic Leadership Style, Laissirez Fair Leadership Style and Democratic Leadership Style p = 0.000, meaning that there is an influence of Militaristic Leadership Style, Paternalistic Leadership Style, Leadership Style Laissirez Fair and Democratic Leadership Style. on the performance of medical and non-medical service staff. From the results of the multivariate analysis, it is known that the most influential variable in this study is the Democratic Leadership Style variable with an odds ratio (OR) value of 62,850 which predominantly influences medical and non-medical service staff. The conclusion in this research is that the appropriate leadership style applied by medical and non-medical services is a democratic leadership style. This is because based on research results, democratic leadership style is the most dominant influence on the performance of medical and non-medical service staff. It is recommended that medical and non-medical service staff strive to improve the performance of medical and non-medical services through reading and discussion activities and discipline when entering work.
