Abstract

This research aims to investigate the moral development of adolescents aged 12-17, particularly in the village of Boti, Kie District, South Central Timor Regency, along with the methods employed by parents in shaping their moral compass. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study collected data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings encompass several aspects: Firstly, there exists a spectrum of moral behavior among the adolescents, ranging from those who are respectful and courteous towards elders to those who exhibit less desirable conduct towards peers and others. Secondly, parents utilize methods such as advising, demonstrating good habits, and serving as role models to instill moral values in their children. Thirdly, impediments to moral education include negative peer influence in the local environment, parental neglect, and the impact of technology. However, strong familial and positive environmental support serve as significant facilitating factors.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) plays an important role in the formation of character and spirituality of students. This study aims to analyze human resource management (HR) in improving the effectiveness of the role of teachers and education personnel in the PAK environment. The approach used is a literature study, by analyzing literature, journals, and related references. The findings show that teachers are not only teachers, but also role models of Christian values. Continuous training, collaboration between teachers, cooperation with parents, and the availability of quality educational facilities are important factors in strengthening student character. A holistic management approach has been proven to be able to integrate cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects. The implication is that adaptive and contextual HR management is needed so that PAK is able to answer the challenges of the times and form a generation with integrity.

Abstract

This article conceptually examines the application of the CIPP model to the evaluation of religious counseling at the Kupang Women's Prison. Although it is the responsibility of religious counselors, in practice, evaluations are still administrative and unstructured, making it difficult to objectively measure and assess the results. This study employed a qualitative approach with content analysis. As a result, the CIPP conceptual framework offers a more comprehensive and systematic approach that addresses the needs of inmates. Through context evaluation, it can be determined whether the religious counseling program responds to the spiritual and moral needs of inmates. Through input evaluation, the quality of the counselors, counseling materials, methods and approaches, and media used can be measured and assessed. Through process evaluation, it can be determined whether religious counseling takes place through in-depth and personal interactions. Through outcome evaluation, it can be determined whether religious counseling leads to changes in inmates' religious attitudes and behaviors. Therefore, this study recommends the implementation of the CIPP model in the evaluation of religious counseling activities.
