Abstract

Entrepreneurial activities in the student environment create business opportunity activities through needs and market analysis. The form of entrepreneurial activity is a direct practice of entrepreneurial learning that has been carried out in a planned and programmed manner, products and services are a manifestation of this program. Based on this, this activity is expected to generate entrepreneurs among students who are able to provide jobs. This study aims to design a decision support system (DSS) for selecting the best independent entrepreneur student activity proposals using the MOORA method. The criteria used are administration, type of business, business location, business plan presentation, and interviews. The three best proposals obtained from the results of this study include: the 1st place was won by the PMWM_01 group with a score of 0.37971, the 2nd place was the PMWM_06 group with a score of 0.37316, and the 3rd place was the PMWM_03 group with a score of 0.37085.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu pihak Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Labuhanbatu dalam pengambilan keputusan penentuan kelayakan mahasiswa untuk menerima beasiswa peningkatan prestasi akademik. Penentuan  penerimaan beasiswa ini dilakukan dengan membangun sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang membantu mempermudah dalam menentukan mahasiswa yang berhak untuk mendapatkan beasiswa tersebut. Sistem pendukung keputusan yang dibangun menggunakan metode Electre. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam SPK Metode Electre ini terdiri dari indeks prestasi mahasiswa, penghasilan orang tua, jumlah tanggungan orang tua, jumlah sertifikat prestasi. Masing-masing kriteria diberi bobot dengan perbandingan 5, 2, 2, 1. Hasil akhir dari SPK metode Electre ini adalah rekomendasi melalui data rangking yang ditentukan berdasarkan jumlah angka 1 terbanyak. Hasil dari studi kasus dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh alternatif dengan nilai 1 terbanyak didapatkan oleh alternatif Mhs_007, dan alternatif dengan nilai 1 paling sedikit dapat dieleminasi.

Abstract

This research aims to solve the problem of selecting plants that have the best agricultural productivity, especially in the Bagan Sinembah area. The selection of these plants is based on plants that are quick to harvest and easy to cultivate, which is done to support food security and the local economy. To overcome the complexity in decision making related to plant selection, this research designed a Decision Support System (DSS) using the TOPSIS Method. This method was chosen because it can provide plant recommendations that are effective, efficient, and in accordance with the specified criteria. The research method involves preliminary studies, determining relevant criteria, and collecting data through field surveys. The criteria used in this research consist of Growth Time, Ease of Cultivation, High Production Yield, Production Cost, and Adaptation to the Environment. Criteria weights are determined based on preference and relative importance. The data is then processed using the TOPSIS method to rank alternative plant choices. The analysis results show the ranking of plants based on their relative proximity scores to positive and negative ideal solutions. The results of this research showed that the recommendation for the plant with the best productivity was Alternative A5 with a preference value of 0.74732. The existence of this decision support system can make a positive contribution to the development of the agricultural sector, especially in increasing the productivity of crops that are quick to harvest and easy to cultivate in the Bagan Sinembah area.

Abstract

Barbershops play a crucial role in maintaining appearance and hairstyles in this modern era. With the continued growth of barbershop businesses in the Bagan Batu area, prospective customers often face challenges in selecting the best barbershop that suits their needs. Therefore, a study was conducted to address the issues faced by potential customers in choosing the best barbershop in the Bagan Batu area. This research involved the development of a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. The criteria considered in this research include location, price, quality, cleanliness, and reputation, each assigned a weight of 0.1; 0.25; 0.25; 0.2; and 0.2, respectively. The data processing results using the MOORA method in this study identified the top 3 barbershop alternatives, namely A6, A8, and A5, with preference values of 0.28945, 0.28135, and 0.28130, respectively. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the Decision Support System using the MOORA method can efficiently assist potential consumers in choosing a barbershop and facilitate the decision-making process in selecting the best barbershop for the Bagan Batu community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential integration of local wisdom in corn cultivation practices in Sei Siarti Village to improve farmers' welfare and support environmental sustainability. The research method involved field surveys, interviews, and observations of cultivation structures and natural resource management systems. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to evaluate the relationship between the application of local wisdom and farmers' income enhancement. The findings reveal that traditional practices, such as selecting adaptable crop varieties, eco-friendly soil management techniques, and natural pest control methods, contribute to sustainable productivity while maintaining ecosystem balance. Integrating local knowledge with modern agricultural technology is expected to enhance food security and improve the quality of life for farmers in the future. Therefore, government support and training in the application of environmentally friendly technology is highly recommended.
