Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease with an increasing number of events every year. There are two risk factors for hypertension, namely risk factors that cannot be modified, such as age, sex and genetics, and modifiable risk factors such as obesity, smoking, lack of physical activity, excessive salt consumption, dyslipidemia, alcohol consumption and psychososis and stress. This study aims to obtain an overview of the factors associated with hypertension in adulthood. The research design used was descriptive analytic research with cross-sectional studies. The number of samples is 70 people with simple random sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate (chi square) and multivariate (multiple logistic regression) component analyzes. Multivariate analysis showed that the variable that was significantly related to the occurrence of hypertension was the age variable (pvalue = 0.009). Variable overweight and physical activity as confounding variables. The analysis results obtained OR from the age variable is 2.9, meaning that patients in middle to upper adult age will experience hypertension 2.9 times higher than young adult patients after being controlled by obesity and physical activity variables. Recommendations from the results of this study are expected to be able to provide health care institutions that emphasize the promotive and preventive aspects of patients who have a history of hypertension.

Abstract

Stimulation of growth and development in children including pre-school age children is very important to do by parents and families. This is done to stimulate the ability and growth and development of children to grow and develop optimally in accordance with the stages of development. Many factors affect parents in providing growth and development stimulus in pre-school age children. One of them is the involvement of fathers in childcare. The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture of the factors that influence parents in providing stimulation of preschool children growth and development. The research design used was descriptive research with cross-sectional study. Data analysis using component analysis with univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the father's involvement variable influences the provision of growth and growth stimulation in pre-school children (p value = 0.001), and OR = 10.978 which means that respondents who have father involvement in good stimulation have an opportunity for mothers 10.9 times better in doing growth and growth stimulation on their children compared to respondents who had less father involvement in stimulation. The involvement or role of fathers in the stimulation of growth and development becomes an important aspect for children's development.

Abstract

Ringkasan: Latar Belakang: Perawat menghadapi bahaya psikososial di tempat kerja yang meningkatkan masalah kesehatan mental seperti stres kerja dan burnout syndrome. Resiliensi yang baik diperlukan untuk menghadapi kesulitan dan mempertahankan kesehatan mental perawat. Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi tingkat resiliensi, instrumen pengukuran, dan hubungan antara resiliensi dengan kesehatan mental perawat di Indonesia. Metode: Systematic review menggunakan alur PRISMA dengan pencarian artikel pada database Scopus, ProQuest, dan Garuda. Setelah proses identifikasi, skrining, dan eligibilitas studi, diperoleh 12 studi untuk ditelaah. Hasil: Resiliensi perawat Indonesia berada pada tingkat sedang hingga tinggi. Instrumen CD-RISC merupakan alat ukur yang paling sering digunakan. Resiliensi berhubungan negatif dengan depresi, berhubungan positif dengan burnout syndrome, namun tidak berhubungan dengan kecemasan dan stres kerja. Simpulan: Makin tinggi resiliensi perawat, makin rendah tingkat depresi yang dialami. Saran: Diperlukan kajian lanjutan tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi resiliensi dan penelitian intervensi resiliensi pada perawat Indonesia.

Abstract

Attitude is one of the domains in the competence of nurses. Attitudes are formed through internalizing learning experiences related to how students feel when they learn. Affective Learning refers to learning that enriches emotions, belief systems, and professional values. In nursing education, the attitude aspect is often the goal of learning but is not followed by learning strategies and evaluations to achieve these learning goals. The research aims to identify effective learning strategies and measure tools used to identify changes from the affective skills or affective aspect studied. A systematic review using electronic literature databases published from year 2012 until 2022. Scopus Search, Clinical Key Nursing, ProQuest, Ebscohost, SAGE Journals, and Science Direct. The research design criteria are randomized control trials and quasi-experimental studies. Eligibility assessment by conducting a critical appraisal using tools from the Joanna Briggs Institute critical appraisal. 15 articles met the criteria, consisting of five Randomized Control Trial research articles, and 10 Quasi-experimental articles. The results of a systematic review show that Simulations using standardized patients and reflective practice are learning methods that are often used. Empathy is the most researched affective aspect followed by communication, self-efficacy, and self-confidence. Empathy as the most affective aspect studied was measured using The Jefferson Empathy Scale. Learning interventions aimed to improve an affective aspect of nursing students are not single, but integrate various learning methods. This is also influenced by the affective aspect developed in learning, which is not a single aspect, and uses several measuring tools to assess its development.
