Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa SMA ditinjau dari self efficacy khususnya pada materi matriks. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana data utama pada penelitian ini adalah hasil tes pemahaman konsep matematika, angket self efficacy dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa dengan self efficacy tinggi, sedang dan rendah yang kemudian diberi tes pemahaman konsep matematika. Penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap hasil tes siswa dan melakukan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dengan self efficacy tinggi sudah baik dengan menguasai indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep, mengklasifikasi objek menurut sifat-sifat tertentu, menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi matematis, menjelaskan keterkaitan antara konsep satu dengan konsep lainnya dan menerapkan konsep dalam pemecahan masalah. Sedangkan siswa dengan self efficacy sedang menguasai indikator menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep, mengklasifikasi objek menurut sifat-sifat tertentu dan menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi matematis. Dan siswa dengan self efficacy rendah hanya menguasai indikator menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep.Kata kunci: Pemahaman konsep matematika; self efficacy. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the understanding mathematics concepts of senior high school students' in term of self-efficacy, especially in matrix. This study is descriptive qualitative that the main data of this study are test, questionnaire, and interview. The research subjects is senior high school students’ with many categories such as high, medium, and low in self-efficacy. Then, the researcher give test about the understanding mathematics concepts. The researcher is doing interview and triangulation method to the students. The results of this study indicate that the students' understanding of mathematics concepts with high self-efficacy is good by mastering the conceptual understanding indicators, such as restating a concept, classifying the objects according to specific categories, presenting concepts in various forms of mathematics representation, explaining the relationship between one concept and another concept and applying some concepts in problem solving. Meanwhile, the students with medium self-efficacy are mastering indicators of restating a concept, classifying the objects according to specific categories and presenting concepts in various forms of mathematics representations, and the students with low self-efficacy are only mastering the indicator of restating a concept.Keywords: Self efficacy; understanding of mathematics concepts.

Abstract

Thematic learning is considered as efficient as the students taught learn in coherent context and holistic way, as well as associate the concepts they learnt with their surrounding and real-life examples. The aim of the study was to identify the effectiveness of the problem-based thematic learning module prototype to improve students' critical thinking skills. This research and development were conducted based on Borg and Gall model. The module effectiveness was tested using pre-experimental design. The sampling technique used was cluster random sample which employed as many as 33 students in which the data collection technique used was test. The data gained was analyzed using paired sample t-test. The results showed that the students’ post-test score of critical thinking skills were significantly differed from their pre-test score. Therefore, the developed module can improve student critical thinking skills effectively. Moreover, it is suggested that teacher should apply a mixed method of teaching as it helps to strengthen students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Supervision is one of the systematic activities of environmental management. In the latest provision, environmental management supervision is regulated in the Ciptaker Law and several government regulations regarding risk-based business licensing. This also has implications for environmental management efforts in businesses and / or industrial activities, especially those with a high level of risk, which requires environmental approval as one of the components of the permit. Based on this, the formulation in this study is how effective the implementation of DLH supervision on industries that have a high level of risk in Boyolali Regency. This Legal Research uses empirical methods with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques with interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was found that many high-level industries in Boyolali Regency do not yet have an AMDAL as an environmental approval document as stipulated in laws and regulations. Of course, this is a problem because it is contrary to laws and regulations which are also a benchmark for the lack of effective supervision carried out by DLH. The lack of effective supervision by DLH is due to several inhibiting factors such as the lack of PPLHD and the lack of compliance of those in charge of industrial activities. However, in addition to these obstacles, several efforts have also been made to improve the effectiveness of supervision.

Abstract

The development of critical thinking skills requires the selection of learning models that can appropriately achieve learning goals. The purpose of the study was to prove the interaction between demonstration learning model with learning motivation towards the development of critical thinking skills in mathematics learning. This type of research is quasi-experimental, using quantitative data analysis. The study population is the third grade elementary school students in the district Ngrampal, Sragen. Sampling using cluster random sampling. Data collection with tests. The data were analyzed by variance analysis test of two different cell paths and further test of variance analysis. The results showed a summary of Anava obtained Fhitung(11.844) > Ftable (3.91), can be interpreted there is an interaction between the demonstration learning model with learning motivation. Variance follow-up test results, namely: marginal mean for criteria: High 85.37, medium 84.77, and low 83.77 and the results of comparative analysis between cell lines, namely: , Fcount (11.982) > Ftable (6.08); , Fcount (11.946) > Ftable (6.08); , Fcount (57,639) > Ftable (6.08), it can be interpreted that motivation for all criteria has an influence on the demonstration learning model in the development of critical thinking skills. The conclusion of the study is that there is an interaction between the demonstration learning model with learning motivation in the development of critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Elementary school students tend to rely on memorizing formulas to solve mathematical problems. They do not yet understand the visual meaning of mathematical concepts, which affects their ability to represent ideas well. This study seeks to investigate students’ abilities to use mathematical representation when solving problems involving 2D geometric shapes. The study employed a qualitative research approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with the classroom teacher and ten students at SDN Brangkal 1 and analyzed using thematic coding techniques. The findings revealed that most students continue to rely on memorizing formulas without grasping the visual meaning of 2D shapes. They seldom use diagrams, rarely verify answers, and struggle to articulate the reasoning behind their problem-solving steps. In addition, the students demonstrated limited verbal representation skills, often providing brief, unexplained responses and showing little habit of expressing their thought processes. These results suggest that students' competence in mathematical representation within the domain of geometry remains low. The findings underscore the need for instructional strategies that integrate visual, symbolic, and verbal representations, and cultivate habits of reflection and communication in primary school geometry education.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti peran kepemimpinan guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis penemuan (discovery learning) di sekolah dasar. Menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka kualitatif, penelitian ini mengevaluasi literatur yang relevan mengenai kontribusi pemimpin guru sebagai agen perubahan dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan guru secara signifikan memfasilitasi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan, yang mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan mandiri. Tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya, dan kesiapan baik dari guru maupun siswa sering kali menghambat keberhasilan pendekatan ini. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung inovasi pedagogis, yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Implikasi teoretisnya berkontribusi pada literatur tentang pemberdayaan guru dan pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, sementara implikasi praktisnya mendorong adopsi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan secara lebih luas. Rekomendasi mencakup penguatan pelatihan kepemimpinan guru dan penyediaan sumber daya yang lebih baik untuk sekolah dasar. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi empiris pembelajaran berbasis penemuan dan mengembangkan model pelatihan yang lebih efektif untuk pemimpin guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas IV SDICT Al Abidin Surakarta melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan 25 siswa dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan proses sains siswa, terutama pada aspek mengamati, mengelompokkan, dan menerapkan. Analisis N-gain menunjukkan sebagian besar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada kategori sedang, dengan nilai tertinggi pada aspek penerapan. Penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa serta meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kolaborasi di kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan media flipbook berbasis masalah sebagai alternatif solusi pembelajaran bangun ruang yang relevan dan menarik. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, meliputi tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Media flipbook dirancang dengan fitur visualisasi 3D, soal berbasis masalah, dan panduan langkah demi langkah sesuai pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL). Hasil uji coba pada 55 peserta didik kelas V menunjukkan bahwa flipbook ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap bangun ruang. Validasi ahli media, materi, dan bahasa menyatakan media ini valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, 80% peserta didik mengalami peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan, dengan mayoritas memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan flipbook. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media flipbook berbasis masalah mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik secara konkret dan memotivasi mereka untuk berpikir kritis. Namun, keterbatasan perangkat teknologi di sekolah menjadi tantangan yang memerlukan solusi berupa pelatihan guru dan pengadaan fasilitas teknologi. Dengan implementasi yang tepat, flipbook ini dapat menjadi media pembelajaran inovatif yang mendukung pembelajaran matematika secara lebih bermakna.
