Abstract

Smoking is a familiar activity in daily life. The existence of filters on cigarettes, causes the danger of cigarette smoke to be felt more by passive smokers. One of the content of cigarette smoke is cadmium (Cd) which is one of the environmental pollutants that are harmful and accumulate in the tissues of living things. The purpose of this study is to measure and describe the levels of Cadmium (Cd) in the urine of passive smokers in RT 03 RW 06 Gandekan Hamlet, Harjosari, Bawen District, Semarang Regency. Using observational (non-experimental) research design with descriptive research criteria. The number of samples of 12 urine from the community of RT 03 RW 06 Gandekan Hamlet, Harjosari, Bawen Subdistrict, Semarang Regency. The results of the examination of Cadmium Levels (Cd) on the 13 samples of passive smoker urine in gandekan RT 01 RW 06 Harjosari Subdistrict, Bawen Subdistrict, Semarang District received the highest level of 0.074 mg/L and the lowest result -0.005 mg/L. Differences in cadmium levels in the passive smoker urine were caused by several factors such as age, environment, health status, occupation, and consumption of antioxidants and milk. Cadmium (Cd) levels in the urine of all passive smokers were in the normal category (2mg/L).

Abstract

Pregnancy anemia is a medical condition that occurs when a pregnant woman experiences a lack of red blood cells or hemoglobin in her blood during pregnancy. Hemoglobin is a protein in red blood cells that is responsible for transporting oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body and returning carbon dioxide to the lungs to be released. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, age, education and nutritional status with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Soppeng district in 2024. The study design used Cross Sectional. Pregnant women at La Temmamala Hospital were 50 people. Based on the results of the Chi-square statistical test, the p Value = 0.273> α = 0.05 was obtained, so H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected, thus it can be concluded that there is no relationship between knowledge and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at La Temmamala Hospital, Soppeng Regency. Based on the results of the Fisher's Exact Test statistical test, the p Value = 1,000 > α = 0.05 was obtained, so H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected, thus it can be concluded that there is no relationship between age and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at La Temmamala Hospital, Soppeng Regency. Abstract

Dalam Islam, interaksi antara laki-laki dan perempuan diatur dalam Al-Qur’an dan hadis, termasuk anjuran untuk melakukan pemisahan dalam acara sosial seperti pernikahan. Namun, pemahaman masyarakat terkait hal ini masih beragam, khususnya di Kecamatan Baraka, Kabupaten Enrekang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pandangan masyarakat serta meninjau praktik pemisahan tamu pernikahan dari perspektif hukum Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan studi lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui studi pustaka dan wawancara dengan tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, serta warga yang terlibat dalam penyelenggaraan pernikahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian masyarakat mendukung pemisahan tamu laki-laki dan perempuan sebagai bentuk penerapan ajaran Islam dan upaya menjaga pandangan. Namun, pelaksanaannya menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan anggaran, kurangnya pemahaman agama, dan anggapan bahwa praktik ini bukan budaya lokal. Dari sudut pandang hukum Islam, pemisahan dengan hijab atau ruangan dianggap sesuai syariat karena mencegah ikhtilat, sedangkan pemisahan tanpa hijab tetap diperbolehkan jika menjaga adab, aurat, dan menghindari fitnah.
