Abstract

Based on data from Riskesdas 2013, in line with increasing age the prevalence of joint disease has increased. The trigger is abnormal metabolic processes in the body and 10% of cases occur in postmenopausal women because the production of the hormone estrogen is disrupted. If treatment is not carried out, it will result in chronic gouty arthritis, resulting in paralysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of uric acid levels in postmenopausal women in Berahan Kulon Village, Wedung District, Demak Regency. The research method used is an observational study with a cross sectional approach. Of the 20 research subjects, 1 research subject had low uric acid levels, 9 research subjects had normal uric acid levels, and 10 research subjects had high uric acid levels. High uric acid levels were dominated by the age group 51-55 years, menopause duration 6-10 years and 10 years, no history of heredity, and consumption of foods high in uric acid 3-5 times/week and 5 times/week. The conclusion of this study is that 5% of postmenopausal women have low uric acid levels, 45% have normal uric acid levels, and 50% have high uric acid levels.

Abstract

Rosidah U, Sugito S, Kiki Yuliati K, Abdiansyah A, Anggraini F. 2021. Identification phytochemical compounds and antioxidant activity of cascara functional drink derived from coffee skin by controlled fermentation. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-9 Tahun 2021, Palembang 20 Oktober 2021. pp. 611-620. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI). The effect of relative humidity of fermentation room on phytochemical compound content and antioxidant activity of coffee skin-derived cascara was determined in this study. Robusta coffee skin was collected from Semendo, Muara Enim district, South Sumatera. A factorial completely randomized design was used and two factors were investigated, namely relative humidity of fermentation room (80, 85, 90 and 95 percent) and serving form of product (powder and solution). All experiment was carried out in triplicates. The observed parameters included both qualitative (saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid, and tannin test) and quantitative (pH value, phenol content, tannin content and antioxidant activity (IC50)) characteristics. The resuls revealed that all samples contained saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid, and tannin, both in powdered and in cascara solution. Relative humidity of fermentation room showed significantly increased pH value, total phenol content, tannin content and increased antioxidant activity. On the other hand, serving form of product showed significantly increased pH value, decreased total phenol content and tannin content.  Furthermore, interaction of the two factors showed significant effects on pH value and total phenol content. In conclusion, powdered cascara fermented in 95 per cent relative humidity was the best treatment, since it contained saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid, and tannin and hat pH of 5.84, total phenol content of 2.45 mg/g, tannin content of 3.67 mg/g and IC50 of  67,94 mg/kg.

Abstract

Nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) is the 4th most common malignancy in Indonesia, after breast, cervical and lung cancer. The risk factors for this cancer are Epstein-Barr virus, gender, race, adult age 30-50 years, family history, drinking alcohol and smoking. The prevalence of NPC in Indonesia is 6.2/100,000, with nearly 13,000 new cases, but this is a small proportion that has been documented. Adham et al (2012) reported that NPC is the most common head and neck cancer (28.4%), with a male-female ratio of 2:4 and is endemic to the island of Java. The existence of knowledge about NPC starting from prevention, early detection, appropriate treatment will be able to help overcome problems caused by nasopharyngeal cancer. Early detection is very important. If NPC is found at an early stage, the cure rate is quite high, reaching 90%. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there were gas station workers in Semarang City who experienced NPC. This study used an analytic survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The results of the study of 20 Semarang City Gas Station officers found that the characteristics based on age were the most in the range 31-50, namely 70%. Characteristics based on gender of the 20 gas station attendants are all male (100%). Characteristics based on length of service are 1 - 10 years (35%), 11 - 20 years (35%) and 21 - 30 years (30%) respectively. Characteristics based on smoking history, 55% of respondents smoked and 45% did not smoke. And the NPC examination results of all respondents (100%) were NPC negative.

Abstract

Oral literature is part of the ancestral heritage that has been passed down from generation to generation. Every region of Indonesia has oral literature with its own uniqueness which cannot be separated from the levels within it. This research reveals the structural level of East Javanese oral literature entitled Babat Alas Gayam using the theory of C. Levi Strauss. Data was obtained through interviews with sources. The data source in this study is the oral literary story Babat Alas Gayam. This study also uses listening and note-taking techniques. The data collection steps carried out by researchers are as follows. First, conduct interviews with sources. Second, transcribe the data. Third, find data. Fourth, summarize the data. Next, the following is the data analysis procedure carried out by the researcher. First, identify the data. Second, classify the data. Third, describe the data. Lastly, make a conclusion. This study produces information regarding the geographical, techno-economic, cosmological and sociological levels contained in the oral literature of Babat Alas Gayam.

Abstract

Tahfidzul Qur'an learning at the Al Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School, Indrlaaya Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra has become a superior school program whose tahfidz curriculum is included in the morning formal madrasa at the Madrasah Ibtidaiah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Madrasah Aliah levels, so that the curriculum is integrated into the madrasa curriculum, learning model Tahfidz at Madrasah Aliah All Ittifaqiah varies, there are those with individual memorization and classical classes, at Madrasah these classes are grouped into excellent class groups, both religious programs, Mathematics and Natural Sciences or Social Sciences. The target for memorizing the Qur'an is adjusted to the excellent class program. Regular classes (non excellent classes) still have a target for memorizing the Qur'an, namely 4 juz in 3 years. The aim of this research is to determine the learning model in class XII Excellent MIPA madrasah aliah al Ittifaqiah Indralaya Ogan Ilir South Sumatra. The type of research used uses case studies. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The primary data sources for this research are the Al Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Quality Assurance Center Program Coordinator, the head of the madrasah, the deputy head of the madrasah in charge of the excellent class, the class XII students of the Al Ittifaqiah MIPA program. Secondary data is a book of students' memorization achievements, reports on the progress of students' memorization and photos of students' activities in tahfidzul Qur'an. The data collection methods for this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research on the tahfidz learning model at Madrasah Aliah al Ittifaqiah are classical classes by memorizing them together and repeating perwaqof at least seven times in memorizing the Qur'an on a new memorized page, memorizing the Qur'an followed by individual memorization deposits to the supervisor teacher memorize the Qur'an as a daily evaluation, then the results of memorizing the Qur'an will be of better quality and will be very enthusiastic about memorizing, it will be fun and it will feel easy to memorize the Qur'an because it is memorized in a classical class. As for the evaluation of tahfidzul Qur'an learning, daily evaluations of new memorization are carried out, deposits of 10 pages (half juz) of takrir every day, evaluation at the end of each juz (Data on the number of memorized reading errors by calculating the number of memorized errors) weekly evaluation, monthly evaluation, end of semester evaluation , end of year evaluation, evaluation before graduation by rote, evaluation on mujahadah ula, mujahadah tsaniah and mujahadah kubro (mujahadah tsalitsah).
