Abstract

Popular culture is a pattern of behavior that is preferred by most people. Appearance and style have become more important than morality, so the values of good or bad have been melted and overturned. Signs of the rapid influence of popular culture can be seen on consumptive Indonesian society. This happened due to foreign popular culture makes a person unaware of what is happening at that time. The researcher uses the hypodermic needle theory of communication in this study. Regarding the use of this theory is a process such as a mechanically rotating conveyor belt with clear elements, there are; a) the source (mediator), b) message (communicant), c) channel ( media), d) receiver (audience), and e) feedback (effect). In other words. This research used qualitative research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words, written or spoken words of people and observable behavior. By helping of social media, it has resulted in the dissemination of information about Korean culture in society, in this case a lot of people become fans of Korean culture for entertainment or to fill their spare time. Interaction between friends affects are able to spread the Korean culture, the interaction that occurs made people want to know more deeply and created a new sense of curiosity about Korean culture. With the existence of Korean culture, it also helps the community to survive through the crisis period that was occurred during pandemic.

Abstract

Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) The natural intelligence of grade III students of SD Negeri 0104 Sibuhuan in the pre-cycle was only 2 students or 9.52% with “very good” natural intelligence, 4 students or 19.05% with “good” natural intelligence, 6 students or 28.57% with “sufficient” natural intelligence, 8 students or 38.10% with “less” natural intelligence and 1 student or 4.76% with “very less” natural intelligence. (2) The application of the outing class learning method in improving the natural intelligence of grade III students of SD Negeri 0104 Sibuhuan in cycle I was 6 students or 28.57% with “very good” natural intelligence, 8 students or 38.10% with “good” natural intelligence, 7 students or 33.33% with “sufficient” natural intelligence, no “less” natural intelligence and no “very less” natural intelligence. In cycle II, there were 14 students or 66.67% with "very good" naturalist intelligence, 7 students or 33.33% with "good" naturalist intelligence, no students with "sufficient" naturalist intelligence, no "less" naturalist intelligence and no "very less" naturalist intelligence, so it can be concluded that by implementing the outing class learning method, it can improve the naturalist intelligence of grade III students of SD Negeri 0104 Sibuhuan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in Islamic religious higher education at Islamic University of Jakarta. We focus on competency-based approaches, active learning, and learning methods that support the development of practical skills. Learning methods such as project-based learning, problem-based learning and collaborative learning are in line with the philosophy of the Merdeka curriculum. The method used is a qualitative research approach. The sample of this study is Jakarta Islamic University as PTKIS located in Jakarta. Data analysis is performed in several phases including a) data transcription, b) data classification, c) data validation, and d) data interpretation. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in PTKI faces challenges and progress. To achieve the goals of the Merdeka curriculum - to create more relevant learning that meets the needs of a dynamic world of work - better understanding of instructors, more partners and alignment in the practice of values. is required.

Abstract

This study uses Eye Tracking technology to analyze students' visual interactions with English learning films. The goal is to actively engage pupils and develop practical skills, not just test conceptual understanding. Eye Tracking is a technique for monitoring students' eye movements and attentiveness while interacting with digital objects. This method seeks to improve learning effectiveness by recognizing patterns of visual interaction in critical areas of the movie. In the digital age, technology plays an important role in shifting the learning paradigm. Project Based Learning (PJBL) is an increasingly popular approach in which students learn through real-world projects. The purpose of this study is to assess students' grasp of English topics using a digital-based PJBL. This study used Eye Tracking analysis to monitor students' eye movements and attentiveness while interacting with digital materials. The data suggests that pupils focus on relevant portions, particularly complex ones like grammar. This emphasizes the significance of focusing on key aspects of learning. The analytic results are used to improve material, optimize content, and diversify instructional techniques. The findings of this study will help to improve digital-based English learning using PJBL, resulting in a more immersive and effective learning experience in higher education.
