Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the CORE type of Cooperative learning model for understanding students ' mathematical concepts. The research method used in this research is the quasi-experimental method. Where experiment classes use the Core Type Cooperative learning model and control class using AIR type Cooperative. Instrument in this research is a question of essay-form. The test instruments used are validity tests and reliability tests. In the hypothesis test using test-T obtained the value of t_hitung > t_ (table) (3,925 > 2,0021), meaning understanding of the mathematical concepts of students taught with a cooperative model of type cooperatives is higher than those taught with models WATER-type cooperative learning to prove that there is an influence on the model of CORE cooperative Learning to understand the mathematical concepts of students.

Abstract

This article aims to describe students' critical thinking ability in the application material of one-order differential equations, especially decay problems. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, three students of the sixth semester in Universitas Indraprasta PGRI were selected as research subjects. The instruments used in the study are tests, interview guidelines as well as researchers as key instruments. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, which is continued the presentation of data, as well as the withdrawal of conclusions/verification. Data validity test is done through triangulation technique. The results showed that S1 with high critical thinking ability, fulfilling all indicators, namely interpreting problems, analyzing solutions from problems, implementing solutions, evaluating solutions, and inferring results. S2 with medium critical thinking ability is meeting two indicators, namely interpreting problems and analyzing solutions, and S3 with low critical thinking ability has not met all the indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi etnomatematika yang terdapat didalam makanan tradisional kue balok khas Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Subjek pada penelitian ini terdiri dari pemilik outlet kue balok, juru masak kue balok, dan sesepuh dari daerah Jawa Barat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan uji kredibilitas, uji transferabilitas, uji depenabilitas, dan uji konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat filosofi budaya serta konsep matematika seperti geometri, perbandingan, dan persamaan linear pada makanan tradisional kue balok khas Jawa Barat

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa ditinjau dari gaya berpikir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non-Probability Sampling, di mana peneliti menggunakan jenis sampel jenuh. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh persamaan regresi Y = 8,309 + 0,745X dengan koefisien determinasi 9,89% menunjukan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dipengaruhi oleh gaya berpikir dengan kontribusi variabel gaya berpikir sebesar 9,89% dan sisanya 90,11% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Hal itu juga diperkuat dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa F_hitung>F_tabel untuk ? = 0,05 yaitu 6,38 > 4,09. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh gaya berpikirnya.

Abstract

Bullying is aggressive behavior carried out by a person or group of people who are strong, both physically and mentally, to others who are weaker. This aggressiveness is carried out repetitively and deliberately with the aim of hurting or weakening others. Bullying has actually been around since human civilization and is universal. Bullying can happen anytime, anywhere, by anyone, and against anyone including by and against elementary school students. The shape can also vary; It can be physical (such as pinching and hitting), verbal (such as teasing and mocking), social (such as silence and ostracism), or mental (such as glaring and looking sarcastically). Bullying can also manifest in the latest form according to current technological developments, namely cyber bullying. Basically, every child has different character traits. One of them is self-confidence. Children who have high self-confidence, then it is not difficult for them to socialize or adapt to a new environment. But on the contrary, children who have low or less self-confidence will find it difficult to adapt to their new environment, even they feel inferior, embarrassed, afraid, and become quiet. From this lack of confidence will bring out the attitude of others to disturb, prank, prank, etc. From the ignorance that others do, this can be said to be bullying. Bullying here can be done anytime and anywhere, and regardless of both men and associations. Both young children, adults, and the elderly, all can experience bullying, may be bullies or victims of the bullying. This is where the role of teachers is very necessary, especially in dealing with bullying in schools. How the teacher solves the case or problem that exists, then looks for the cause and effect of the occurrence of the case, as well as the best solution to the existing case and does not forget to encourage the victim of bullying not to feel inferior and provide direction, understanding and motivation to the bully that the actions he does are bad deeds and as much as possible instill in all to socialize about meaning bullying and its impact so that these students love each other without any persusushan
