Abstract

Abstract. The community service program is carried out in the Kp. Kaduketug Community RT001 / 001 Kanekes Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency. This program is carried out to provide knowledge about the benefits of Biopore Infiltration Holes (BIH) Providing knowledge on how to make BIH in their surrounding environment through training that will be provided by the implementing team. The first stage is the preparation stage. At this stage, the team conducts a preliminary survey to determine the condition of the target activities by analyzing the conditions of the place to be used, the conditions of the participants who were given counseling and drafting the activities carried out. The next preparation stage is to arrange the materials that will be used as the material in the activity. The second stage is the implementation stage, the team conducts counseling to the community by delivering material about the environment and treatment and environmental management. This extension activity is carried out by inviting people to get to know about the environment and how to manage the environment around them. The team also provided information on how to make BIH and BIH benefits for the environment. Next is the training on making BIH. The team and the community of Kanekes village together make BIH in the environment. All activities of the participants will be guided and guided by the community service team. The last stage is the stage of completing the final report of the activities carried out by the team and the community. This activity hopes that all Indonesian citizens, especially the Kp. Kaduketug community can protect the environment through efforts to make bio pure infiltration holes.  Abstrak. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Masyarakat Kp.Kaduketug RT001/001 Desa Kanekes Kecamatan Leuwidamar Kabupaten Lebak. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan Memberikan pengetahuan tentang manfaat Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB) Memberikan pengetahuan cara pembuatan LRB di lingkungan sekitar mereka melalui pelatihan yang akan diberikan oleh tim pelaksana. Tahap pertama adalah tahap persiapan. Pada tahap ini tim melakukan survei pendahuluan untuk mengetahui kondisi target kegiatan dengan menganalisis kondisi tempat yang akan digunakan, kondisi peserta yang kan diberikan penyuluhan dan menyusun rancangan kegiatan yang dilakukan. Tahap persiapan selanjutnya menyusun bahan-bahan yang akan dijadikan materi dalam kegiatan.Tahap kedua yaitu tahap pelaksanan, tim melakukan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat dengan menyampaikan materi tentang lingkungan hidup serta pemnafaatan dan pengelolaan lingkungan. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilakukan dengan mengajak masyarakat untuk mengenal tentang lingkungan hidup   dan bagaimana mengelola lingkungan hidup di sekitar mereka. Tim juga memberikaninformasi tentang bagaimana cara pembuatan LRB dan manfaat LRB bagi lingkungan. Selanjutnya dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan LRB. Tim dan masyarakat desa kanekes bersama membuat LRB di lingkungan. Seluruh kegiatan peserta akan dipandu dan dibimbing oleh tim abdimas. Tahapan yang terakhir adalah tahapan penyelesaian laporan akhir dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan tim dan masyarakat.Harapan dari kegiatan ini adalah seluruh warga Indonesia khususnya masyarakat Kp.Kaduketug mampu menjaga lingkungan lewat upaya pembuatan lubang resapan biopori.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, which is about 25% of all cancer incidents and is the second leading cause of death after lung cancer. Breast cancer can also occur in men, with a ratio of 1: 100 when compared to women. Cancer is a disease that causes high mortality in the world. Based on WHO data, in 2015 there were 8.8 million deaths caused by cancer.  Various methods have been developed to treat cancer, one of which is by using radiation therapy or radiotherapy. According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), of the 10.9 million people diagnosed with cancer worldwide each year, about 50% need radiotherapy. The use of radiation for cancer therapy has not been widely used and is still limited in Indonesia. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the use of radiotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer through literature searches. The results of the literature search show that radiation technology has existed in Indonesia since 1927. Radiotherapy has become one of the important therapies in cancer treatment in Indonesia. The increasing number and development of radiotherapy facilities are expected to reduce the prevalence of cancer in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop scientifically based physics learning modules on high school X grade momentum and impulse materials and know the feasibility of modules based on expert validation by lecturers and teachers as well as student responses. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE model. ADDIE development model in which there are several stages, including: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The results showed that: the results of each stage of the physics learning module development have been validated and revised based on the advice of experts and have been tested to students as respondents. Development using the ADDIE model obtained results including assessments by experts of 81.80% of student response tests with a percentage of 80.04%. From the results of the test, it can be concluded that the development of scientific-based physics learning modules in high school X grade momentum and impulse materials deserves to be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

Abstract: The survey results showed 74% of students did not like mathematics. This has an impact on student achievement in mathematics. Therefore it is necessary to find a solution to the problem. Therefore to answer this problem the researchers conducted this study with the aim of finding the effect of the cooperative learning model type course review horay (CRH) on the ability to solve mathematical problems. SMAN 16 Bekasi is the place where this research was conducted, where researchers took class XI data. The number of samples from this study were 63 students who were divided into two classes where each class for the experimental class was 32 students and the classroom was 31 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Where consideration techniques taken are students who attend all meetings in learning activities. The research method that we use is quasi-experimental with data analysis techniques with t test. The results of the study stated that there was a significant point score difference between the CRH and GGE groups, where the CRH class group scored higher than the chain answer group. It can be said that there is an effect of the cooperative review horay (CRH) type of cooperative learning model on the ability to solve mathematical problems.Abstrak: Hasil survey menujukan 74% siswa tidak menyukai matematika. Hal ini berdampak pada prestasi siswa dalam matapelajaran matematika. Oleh karena itu perlu dicarikan solusi atas masalah tersebut. Maka dari itu untuk menjawab masalah tersebut peneliti melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mencari pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay (CRH) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. SMAN 16 Bekasi adalah tempat dilakukan penelitian ini, dimana peneliti mengambil data kelas XI. Jumlah sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 63 orang siswa yang terbagi dalam dua kelas dimana masing-masing kelas untuk kelas eksperimen sebanyak 32 orang siswa dan kelas konterol sebanyak 31 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposiv sampling. Dimana teknik pertimbangan yang diambil adalah siswa yang mengikuti seluruh pertemuan yang dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang kami gunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan teknik analisi data dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor point yang berarti antara kelompok CRH dan GGE, dimana kelompok kelas CRH mendapat skor lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kelas jawab berantai. Dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay (CRH) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.

Abstract

Mathematics achievement is a reflection of learner achievement in learning mathematics, if the concept is given to students has been well received, the results obtained will be a good learning. Mathematical concepts can be given by various methods so that learners are able to understand the material provided by the teacher, one math learning methods are SLIM-n-BIL. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect and the effectiveness of SLIM-n-BIL learning methods on mathematics achievement. The method used a quasi-experimental methods are implemented in junior Mahardika with data retrieval via multiple choice questions. Hypothesis testing is performed using SPSS 17.0 software for windows at significance level of 0.05. The conclusions are: there is an effect of using   SLIM-n-BIL in understanding mathematical concepts and the method SLIM-n-BIL effective against students’ mathematics achievement because the effect size obtained value of 0,685.

Abstract

This article aims to describe students' critical thinking ability in the application material of one-order differential equations, especially decay problems. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, three students of the sixth semester in Universitas Indraprasta PGRI were selected as research subjects. The instruments used in the study are tests, interview guidelines as well as researchers as key instruments. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, which is continued the presentation of data, as well as the withdrawal of conclusions/verification. Data validity test is done through triangulation technique. The results showed that S1 with high critical thinking ability, fulfilling all indicators, namely interpreting problems, analyzing solutions from problems, implementing solutions, evaluating solutions, and inferring results. S2 with medium critical thinking ability is meeting two indicators, namely interpreting problems and analyzing solutions, and S3 with low critical thinking ability has not met all the indicators.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to discover and analyze empirically the effect of attitudes toward mathematics learning outcomes, learning habits influence on mathematics learning outcomes, influence attitudes and study habits together towards mathematics learning outcomes. The population covered in this study were junior high school grade students in District VIII Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The research sample was obtained through random sampling method, the researchers mixed quota subjects in the population so that all subjects are considered equal. The research design used by the correlation technique with three variables consisting of two independent variables, namely student attitudes and study habits as well as a dependent variable, is mathematics learning outcomes. Data collected by questionnaire technique (variable attitudes and habits students learn) and test techniques (variable learning outcomes). Collected data are then analyzed using correlation and simple regression techniques and correlation and multiple regression. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements (test of normality, linearity test). The results showed that: (1) there is significant influence between students' attitudes and habits towards learning mathematics learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.465 and coefficient of determination of 0.216 or 21.6% of student attitude and study habits jointly affect the results of learning mathematics. The resulting regression equation Y = 7932 + 0, 377 X1 + 0, 257 X2. This could mean that the better the attitude of the students then the better the better the result of learning and study habits, the higher the results of studying mathematics.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze differences in the influence function of teachers (between classroom teachers with subject teachers ) and the IQ level of the mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted at the fifth grade elementary school students in the district Kramat Jati. The sample used in this study consisted of 10 elementary schools, both public and private as many as 352 students and were selected by cluster sampling. Normality Tests performed using Liliefors test with the results of several different groups. Where data is normally categorized Testing homogeneity with the Bartlet test results data used is homogeneous. Research hypothesis testing using 2 way ANOVA, with the calculation that the learning outcomes of students who are taught mathematics by teachers of better than students taught by classroom teachers, math learning outcomes of students who have a high IQ level is better than the students who have a low IQ level, there was an interaction effect between the teacher and the function of the IQ level of mathematics learning outcomes of primary school students in the District Kramat Jati.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan secara daring bersama dengan mitra dari Rumah Belajar Kita (RBK) dibawah naungan Yayasan bangun Kecerdasan Bangsa. Beberapa permasalahan yang ada di RBK tersebut, diantaranya adalah Rendahnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya kemampuan atau keterampilan matematis siswa, pembelajaran yang masih monoton sehingga siswa cenderung pasif, kurang adanya komunikasi dan interaksi antara guru dan siswa, serta lembaga yang belum dapat  memfasilitasi untuk meningkatkan inovasi pembelajaran matematika untuk para pengajar di RBK. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah metode pelatihan. Peserta kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan dan menyadari bahwa motivasi, inovasi serta pengembangan potensi diri merupakan hal yang sangat penting, terutama untuk meningkatkan minat, aktivitas belajar dan keterampilan matematis siswa dengan menggunakan bantuan media pembelajaran yang tepat.

Abstract

Sejalan dengan pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya sebagai alternatif cara dari kurang optimal dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui eksplorasi etnomatematika pada batik Jakarta yang dikaitkan dengan pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perkampungan Budaya Betawi dan di Workshop Galeri Gandaria. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan etnografi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini disajikan dalam bentuk kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan kontribusi aspek matematika, sejarah, dan filosofi dalam pembuatan Batik Jakarta. Gambar motif batik menggambarkan sebuah bangun datar seperti persegi, lingkaran, segitiga, belah ketupat, jajar genjang, trapesium, setengah lingkaran, elips, segi lima beraturan, balok, dan tabung yang merupakan aspek-aspek matematika pada materi geometri. Proses pembuatan Batik Jakarta juga terdapat geometri transformasi seperti simetri, refleksi, dilatasi, dan rotasi. Hasil penelitian ini berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dan diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan ajar pada jenjang sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah.
