Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning methods with CTL on student mathematics learning outcomes, to determine the effect of students' self-concepts on student learning outcomes in mathematics, and to determine the effect of the interaction of learning methods with CTL and self-concepts. The experimental method was used in this study, which was located at Uswatun Hasanah Middle School in 2019, with 60 students being sampled, including 30 control class students and 30 experimental class students. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires directly to the sample. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics such as finding mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and inferential statistics, which is to find coefficients. The results showed: There is an influence of learning methods with CTL on student mathematics learning outcomes, there is an effect of students 'Self Concepts on student learning outcomes in mathematics, and there is an interaction of learning methods with CTL methods and students' Self Concepts on mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is intended to know whether there is a direct effect of numerical intelligence on student’s learning achievement, a direct effect of learning motivation on student’s mathematics learning achievement, a direct effect of numerical intelligence on learning motivation, and an indirect effect of numerical intelligence on student’ learning achievement through learning motivation. The research uses a survey method, with 100 randomly taken samples of people stratified by the comparison of the number of students in each Private Vocational School (SMK) in East Jakarta. The data analysis consists of descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, determination correlation and path coefficient. The statistical test used is F test with the help of SPSS 20. The result of the research show: there is a direct effect of numerical intelligence on mathematics learning achievement , as shown by path coefficient value of -0,372; there is a direct effect of numerical intelligence on learning motivation, as seen by path coefficient value of 0,975; here is a direct effect of learning motivation on mathematics learning achievement with path coefficient value of 0,520; there is an indirect effect of numerical intelligence on mathematics learning achievement through learning motivation, as proved by path coefficient value of 0,507.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari lebih dalam tentang minat dan kemampuan berhitungpeserta didik di masa pandemi.Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling.Variabel yang diteliti adalah minat dan kemampuan berhitungpeserta didikpokok bahasan bilangan berpangkat.Platform quizizzmerupakan suatu platform yang biasa digunakan untuk dapat mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dalam penggunaannya terhadap minat dan kemampuan berhitung matematika.Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP AL-Qalamkepada14 peserta didik kelas VIII menggunakan 10 soal konseptual dan kuisioner yang diberikan dengan platform quizizz.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kemampuan berhitung peserta didik adalah 59% dan Platform quizizz dapat meningkatkan minat belajar matematika.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berhitung yang dimiliki peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang

This study to describe the mathematical disposition of students on the application of ethnomtematics in interactive mathematics learning in schools. The approach used is qualitative and quantitative with descriptive types. The research subject one person mathematics educator work and 30 students of Perti Jakarta Islamic Vocational High School. Data were obtained through interviews and filling out questionnaires with a Likert scale type. The results obtained indicate that the application of Ethnomathematics can have a positive influence on mathematics learning in schools. Based on research findings from an interview with a mathematics educator, it has been discovered that the implementation of ethnomathematics in mathematics education can enhance students' interest and self-confidence in the interactive mathematics learning process. This approach is popular among students. The findings of the research are further supported by the results of a mathematical disposition questionnaire, which was assessed from various aspects. First, students displayed a good level of confidence in the mathematics learning process, with an average score of 2.33. This indicates that the application of an ethnomathematical approach in their education fosters a sense of confidence and self-assuredness among students when dealing with mathematical concepts. Second, in terms of diligence and perseverance in learning mathematics, the average score was 1.98, considered fairly good. This aspect suggests that students agree with the utilization of the ethnomathematical-based approach, which motivates them to be more diligent and persistent in their mathematical studies at school. These results highlight the positive impact of ethnomathematics on students' interest and self-confidence in interactive mathematics learning.
