Abstract

Language skills are basic skills that are mastered and learned early childhood. Language skills obtained by the child through interaction with parents. Early childhood language development periods are categorized into two, namely pre-linguistic and linguistic periods. Pre-linguistic periods are passed by the child as a baby. If in the pre-linguistic period the child is introduced to the proper use of language then the language skills of the child develop in the linguistic period. The intensity of an interaction will affect the skills of listening and speaking of early childhood. Therefore, parents and teachers as a close to the child are very necessary to facilitate the development of the language of children. Dialogic reading is an approach used to develop language skills and basic literacy of children. Dialogic reading provides many opportunities for children to speak so that language skills and self-confidence are growing.

Abstract

Speaking skill is one of language skill that used on daily life. Speaking skill include two aspects namely linguistic aspect and non-linguistic aspect. However, not all people have good speaking skill when facing some situation. That condition is available to students on language learning. Every students has difference obstacles on speaking. The obstacles of students’ speaking skill can be identified by speaking aspects. This research aims to identifying gender difference of students’ speaking skill on elementary schools. This research was using quantitative design within expost facto method. Technique of collecting sample used stratified sampling. Samples of this research were 30 students of third grade at one of elementary schools on Kampar Sub-District. Technique of collecting data in this research used speaking test. Technique of validity data used content validity and the validity was done by an expert or obtain expert judgement. Meanwhile, the data analysis used inference statistic. The result of this research useful to identify students’ speaking skill so teacher can give appropriate treatment to improve students’ speaking skill based on their necessities.

Abstract

Nowadays, students prefer to have online game rather than traditional one. Online game led to the lack of student’s interaction with people around them, they have high individualistic, and shirk responsibility. Traditional game can be an alternative to decrease bad effects of online game. Consequently, this research aims to build interpersonal ability of elementary school students by doing traditional game. This research employed action research method with fifth grade students as its subject. Interpersonal ability which showed in this research was measured by observation meanwhile the instruments of observation consist of field note and rating scale. The outcome from this research was analysed by thematic analysis meanwhile the data was validated by triangulation. Referring to research’s findings, researcher concludes that traditional game offer meaningful activities and different experiences to the students. Traditional game motivate students to doing physical acitivities and make interaction with peers. Moreover, a meaningful moral values will evolve among the students by themselves. Traditional game can be used as media to building interpersonal ability of students. Besides that, teacher can introduce the traditional game to students to keep the local wisdom that almost wiped out.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to address the problems relating to the lack of interesting and effective x thematic learning media in class so as to improve the effectiveness of learning. The development procedure of two main objectives, namely developing the product and validating the resulting product. The population of this study was SDN 1 and SDN 2 Sesela and the research samples used were SDN Rejodadi 01 and SDN Rejodadi 04. The research instruments used were interview, test, observation, and questionnaires to validate and evaluate the quality of the developed products. Data analysis teschniques used qualitative descriptive. The results of the research were as follows: (1) The results of expert validation and teacher assessment of media products that have been developed eligible to be used, (2) Limited trial results are known that the product development is worth use and (3) field trial results are known that the product of development that has been worthy of use affects the ability to understand the students ' thematic concept.Kata Kunci: learning media, thematic, Multimedia, primary schoolAbstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah yang berkaitan dengan minimnya media pembelajaran tematik yang menarik dan efektif dikelas sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektifitas pembelajaran. Prosedur pengembangan terdiri dari dua tujuan utama yaitu mengembangkan produk dan memvalidasi produk yang dihasilkan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah SDN Rejodadi 01 dan SDN Rejodadi 04. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berup wawancara, tes, observasi dan angket/kuesioner untuk memvalidasi dan mengevaluasi kualitas produk yang dikembangkan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) hasil validasi ahli dan penilaian guru terhadap produk media  yang telah dikembangkan telah layak untuk digunakan, hasil uji coba terbatas diketahui bahwa produk hasil pengembangan layak digunakan dan (3) hasil uji coba lapangan diketahui bahwa produk hasil pengembangan yang sudah layak digunakan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan memahami konsep tematik siswa.Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Tematik, Multimedia, SD

Abstract

Indonesia: Menumbuhkan kesenangan menulis terhadap siswa dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristiknya. Siswa sekolah dasar pada umumnya senang dengan pembelajaran yang melibatkan dirinya. Pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa akan membentuk pengalaman bagi siswa itu sendiri. Namun, kenyataan di lapangan masih banyak siswa sekolah dasar memiliki keterampilan menulis yang rendah khususnya menulis karangan narasi. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa sekolah dasar melalui implementasi model experiential learning. Penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif terpilih sebagai metode penelitian dengan siswa kelas IV sebagai subjeknya. Penelitian ini berlokasi di salah satu sekolah dasar Desa Selang Kecamatan Kebumen. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Sementara itu, analisis tematik digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data penelitian sedangkan triangulasi merupakan teknik untuk memvaliditas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model experiential learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: experiential learning; keterampilan menulis; narasi; siswa sekolah dasar IMPLEMENTING EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE NARRATIVE WRITING SKILL OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS English: Developing writing interest to the students can be done by providing learning that is appropriate to their characteristics. Generally, elementary school students are enjoying  the learning which involves themselves. Learning that involves students will build their experiences. However, the reality  in the field there are still many elementary school students who have low writing skill especially on narrative writng skill. Consequently, this research aims to improve narrative writing skill of elementary school students by implementing experiential learning model. Collaborative action research was selected as research method within fourth grade students as its subjects. This research located at one of elementary school in Selang Village, Kebumen Sub-District. This research collected data by observation, interview, and test. On the other hand, thematic analysis is used as technique of analysis data meanwhile triangulation employed as technique of validating data. Research outcome shows experiential learning model can enhance narrative writing skill of elementary school students. Abstract

Literasi digital adalah kemampuan penggunaan teknologi informasi dari perangkat digital secara efektif efisien dalam berbagai konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Literasi digital pada siswa sekolah dasar membekali siswa agar dapat memilih dan menggunakan perangkat teknologi untuk hal yang lebih bermanfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi digital siswa kelas VI melalui penerapan model flipped classroom. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ialah siswa kelas VI di salah satu sekolah dasar kecamatan Cimanggu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan tes kuesioner. Kemudian, instrument penelitian dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Selanjutnya, analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan statistik inferensi yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model flipped classroom terhadap kemampuan literasi digital siswa kelas VI yang dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis berupa perolehan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat literasi membaca masyarakat Indonesia menandakan bahwa upaya pemerintah untuk meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat Indonesia belum berhasil. Oleh karena itu, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menggalakkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (Gerakan Literasi Sekolah). Sekolah dasar juga menerapkannya sebagai program internal yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan optimalisasi membaca bagi siswanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan optimalisasi minat baca melalui gerakan literasi sekolah pada siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model interaktif yang ditemukan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan adalah pemanfaatan sudut baca di sekolah dasar dilakukan berdasarkan landasan dan tujuan yang bersumber dari peraturan pemerintah, visi misi dan program sekolah. Program pojok baca dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu 1) Tahap pembiasaan yang meliputi pembiasaan membaca selama 10-15 menit dan kegiatan lain yang dapat membangun budaya literasi dan pengkondisian lingkungan fisik ramah literasi; 2) Tahap pengembangan yang meliputi pengembangan keterampilan literasi melalui berbagai kegiatan non-akademik serta penanaman lingkungan sosial dan afektif sebagai model komunikasi dan interaksi literasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dapat mengoptimalkan minat membaca siswa sekolah dasar. Minat membaca siswa berada pada kategori sedang yang dibuktikan dengan banyaknya siswa yang meminjam buku dan kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan

Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang sangat penting akan tetapi oleh akademisi lupa untuk diberikan secara optimal kepada siswa sekolah dasar adalah keterampilan menyimak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji coba model think talk write berbantu media video terhadap keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa SD Negeri Salebu 08. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian. Validitas data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji tingkat kesukaran. Analisis data menggunakan analisis inferensi. Analisis inferensi meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian data uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-T (Independent sampel t test) diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,000 dan nilai tingkat signifikan nya (α) adalah 0,05, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig lebih kecil dari nilai tingkat signifikan (α). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model think talk write terhadap keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa SD Negeri Salebu 08.
