Abstract

During emergency situation, such as a large-scale tsunami or other disastrousevents, people evacuation may lead to more fatalities when it is conducted without a proper escape strategy. The ability to evacuate a huge number of people within a very limited amount of time is certainly required. Evacuation drills are therefore necessary to acquire an optimal escape strategy. Unfortunately, we have to deal with both financial and practicalchallenges for conducting a regular and meaningful drill. To overcome these challenges, one solution would be to develop the evacuation simulation model. Despite its limitation to mimic the real-life situations, simulation may provide practical ways of minimizing the negative consequences as well as useful insights to escape strategy. In this paper, we describe a conceptual model of multiagent based tsunami evacuation simulation (TES). The model formulation and description would follow the ODD (Overview, Design concepts, andDetails) protocol, which is a standard protocol widely used by agent-based modellers. The proposed model may serve as a framework for TES that offers the following features: estimate the clearing time or the time needed by people to leave the tsunami inundation area, and identify the potential bottleneck or congestion locations. Abstract

The development of information and communication technology application is growing rapidly. It has motivated the use of mobile devices for various social networking mobile services such as android based multimedia disaster information transmission. Disaster multimedia information is important for quick response and recovery phases of the disaster management. In previous work, an online disaster information system based on location (we called it ASIKonLBS) has been proposed. However, it was only providing the coordinate information of the disaster location by using short message service (SMS) gateway and global positioning system (GPS). In this paper, we propose the design of prototype for online disaster multimedia data transmission based on android. Such that, the ASIKonLBSv2 can provide not only the information of the location, but also the situation of the disaster area including news, picture, and video. The research method refers to a spiral model that begins with conceptual design, prototype development and evaluation. The result shows that the designed prototype can be implemented for online disaster multimedia data transmission (news, photo and video) using Android Developer Tools. Furthermore, the prototype can be installed in the android-based smartphone and map the disaster multimedia data onto the web of ASIKonLBS. Therefore, the proposed prototype is useful for the disaster agencies and practitioners in order to give the first aid for the victim in the disaster area

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan pendapatan petani melalui penerapan TTG Sistem Legowo dan paket pemupukan pada jagung dan produksi benih jagung sintetik Unhas (Sinhas 1), yang telah dilepas Kementan RI Tahun 2019, serta peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam memproduksi biokompos, biopestisida, pupuk cair dan cara aplikasinya. Produk yang dihasilkan akan digunakan sebagai usaha agribisnis melalui bekerjasama dengan lembaga Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Desa Tarowang. Metode dan tahapan pelaksanaan adalah melalui sosialisasi program yang dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan tatap muka tentang teknologi yang akan diterapkan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan petani dalam pembuatan pupuk organik cair dan kompos dengan memanfaatkan limbah pertanian yang ada di sekitar desa. Selain itu, demplot yang telah dibuat untuk mempraktekkan produksi benih Jagung Sintetik Unhas (Sinhas 1) oleh petani juga mendapat respon yang cukup besar. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari minat dan pertanyaan yang diajukan petani saat penyuluhan dan pelatihan berlangsung. Dengan adanya kegiatan pegabdian ini, maka petani bertambah wawasannya terkait pentingnya pemupukan pada tanaman Jagung untuk mencapai produksi yang maksimal. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa POC dan Kompos selain untuk kebutuhan sendiri, maka dapat dijadikan produk BUMDes Desa Tarowang. Kata kunci: Benih, jagung Sinhas 1, pupuk, agribisnis.   ABSTRACT The purpose of this community service activity is to increase farmers' income through the application of the Legowo System and fertilizer packages on corn and corn seed production from Unhas Synthetic Corn (Sinhas-1), which was released by the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture in 2019, as well as to increase farmers' knowledge and skills in producing biocompost, biopesticide, liquid fertilizer and how to apply it. The resulting product will be used as an agribusiness business in collaboration with the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) of Tarowang Village. The method and stages of implementation were through program of socialization followed by face-to-face training on the technology to be applied. The result of the implementation of community service is an increase in the understanding and skills of farmers in making liquid organic fertilizer and compost by utilizing agricultural waste around the village. In addition, the demonstration plots that have been made to practice the production of Synthetic Corn seeds of Unhas (Sinhas 1) by farmers have also received a fairly large response. This is shown by the interest and questions asked by farmers during the extension and training. With this community service activity, farmers gain insight regarding the importance of fertilization on corn plants to achieve maximum production. The products produced in the form of Liquid Organic Fertilizers and Compost other than for their own needs, can be used as BUMDes products in Tarowang Village. Abstract

Aceh merupakan salah satu wilayah di Indonesia yang rawan terhadap bencana alam seperti gempa bumi, tanah longsor, letusan gunung api, kemarau, abrasi, tsunami, banjir dan lain-lain. Salah satu faktor pengurangan risiko bencana (PRB) adalah tersedianya informasi yang dapat diakses oleh publik. Sehingga aplikasi web sistem informasi geografis untuk multi risiko bencana sangat penting di Aceh. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiap-siagaan dari pengambil keputusan dan masyarakat dalam upaya PRB. Aplikasi ini dibangun dan dirancang berdasarkan arsitektur client-server dengan menggunakan software open source sebagai penyedia data geospatial yang dapat diakses melalui web berbasis sistem informasi geografis (SIG). Adapun hasil aplikasinya adalah visualisasi peta-peta multi risiko bencana alam Aceh yang dapat memberikan informasi daerah rawan bencana kepihak terkait dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat secara online melalui internet.
