Abstract

Roasting coffee manually is widely applied by coffee producers. This process takes a very long time and is less efficient in terms of productivity for industry standards. This machine  is equipped with a thermocouple sensor as a temperature sensor that will measure the temperature in the roasting cylinder, then equipped with a timer as a reminder of roasting time that ranges from 15 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius, this machine  is also equipped with android as a timer controller on the coffee roaster machine. This machine is also equipped with a microcontroller and Bluetooth as a media transmitter and data receiver. From the test results obtained data that Bluetooth can be used for data communication between the microcontroller and Android with a distance of 30 meters in the room, and 12 meters outside the room. If it exceeds that distance, then Bluetooth will not respond back

Abstract

Inverters are used to convert direct current or DC (Direct Current) sources into alternating current sources or AC (Alternating Current). A method is needed to make the output waveform close to a sinusoidal waveform. The Multi Level Inverter (MLI) method has a large number of levels and is closer to a sinusoidal wave. The three-phase MLI design with a separate symmetrical input source in this study is able to produce a three-phase output wave, where the resulting Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value is smaller, namely 5.65% when using the Modified PWM method where the carrier signal has no frequency

Abstract

The design of this goods separator conveyor aims to replace human labor in separating goods based on color, where the goods separation system is designed using the zelio smart relay (SR3B261BD) as the main controller, the conveyor belts in this system are driven by motor power wondows and are using a color sensor module. (TCS3200) as a color detection sensor which is then separated by a separation arm designed using a DC motor to separate each item according to the predetermined color, namely red, green and blue. The limit switch is used to limit the separation arm. When the goods have been separated, the separating arm will return to the starting position, this process will continue until the next cycle.

Abstract

This single phase AC Voltage controller is arranged using such SCR TIC126, diodes, IC Regulators, Op-Amp LM324N, and several other electronic components.This module can produce AC voltages that vary according to the trigering of the SCR angle that is used, while the frequency of the output voltage waveform is fixed, the analysis of the output voltage waveform in this research is carried out in a simulation form by using the PSIM program, mathematically, and then comparing with the measurement results,as for the parameters measured is the Vrms output voltage. The voltage difference between simulated, mathematical and measurement is not too large,As for the triggering angle that used at of 45˚, 60˚, 90˚, 135˚, where the load used is resistive at 5 W 100 Ω, and the source that used is low AC voltage of 12.8 volts with a frequency of 50 Hz.

Abstract

Fifteen level single phase multilevel inverter is constructed using power circuit consist of 7 MOSFETs, seven independents DC sources, seven diodes, and an H-Bridge circuit. Switching method used in this MLI is sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) multicarrier where the reference wave in the form of a sinusoidal wave.  Multicarrier SPWM circuit is designed using electronic components such as Op-Amp that used as a comparator and some logic gates such as AND, OR and NOT gate to trigger S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, and H-Bridge circuit. Carrier waves used in this MLI modified from the triangle wave that having a frequency into carrier waves without frequency (DC sources) where THD that generated into 5.502%. While methods that use frequency such as Phase Disposition PWM (PD PWM), Phase Shift PWM (PS-PWM), and Carrier Overlapping PWM (CO PWM) that produces THD greater than the proposed method, this system was simulated using PSIM software.

Abstract

Pengawasan terhadap alat-alat takar sebagai bentuk perlindungan kementerian terhadap konsumen pasar dan atau pelaku usaha kerap sekali dilakukan agar tidak terjadi kesalahan pengukuran atau penimbangan yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian pada kedua belah pihak. Umumnya masyarakat pelaku usaha saat mengemas minyak goreng ke dalam bungkusan menggunakan alat bantu pompa minyak oriental untuk kemudian di timbang. Dengan menggunakan alat bantu yang di operasikan secara elektronik, dapat mempersingkat waktu dari dua aktivitas yang dilakukan secara terpisah ini. Disamping itu pula, keragu-raguan atau kehati-hatian pedagang didalam mengemas sesuai dengan jumlah atau takaran dapat terbantukan dengan keakuratan dan kepresisian alat yang dirancang. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat sebuah alat bantu takar volume minyak goreng yang dioperasikan secara elektronik dengan menggunakan Arduino sebagai mikrokontrolernya. Dengan adanya alat ini dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi pedagang saat mengemas minyak goreng sesuai dengan takaran yang diinginkan oleh konsumen. Dengan keakuratan volume minyak goreng yang dikeluarkan dapat memuaskan konsumen dan pedagang pun tidak dirugikan. Peralatan yang digunakan didalam pembuatan peralatan ini meliputi Arduino sebagai mikrokontroler dan flow sensor sebagai alat ukurnya, keypad dan pompa sebagai komponen input dan ouput dimana keypad sebagai input set point jumlah volume yang diinginkan dan pompa sebagai penggerak untuk memindahkan minyak dari wadah penampungan ke wadah kemasan pembeli. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwasanya alat takar volume minyak goreng ini dapat digunakan untuk input volume pengisian dari ukuran 1 liter sampai 3 liter. Keluaran volume actual minyak goreng yang paling baik adalah tercapai pada input pengisian 1 liter dengan waktu pengisian selama 40 detik dengan laju aliran 25,78 mL/s.

Abstract

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is not only serves as a smart relay or just on and off the system but also provided an analog input so that the PLC can changes in input voltage levels. PLC also has a serial communication between PLC coupling with other devices. Level analog voltage input has a voltage rating of 0-10 Volt will be converted by the ADC (analog digital converter) to the PLC, and the subsequent response of the ADC program created in the PLC will affect the results output. This reseach was made for monitoring levels of 0-10 Volt input voltage that come from the PLC. ADC control is made will be downloaded to the PLC. PLC will be communicated with the Raspberry Pi which is installed embedded linux-based operating system via Modbus communications, thus controlling which previously via PLC can be taken over by the Raspberry Pi. This research also made for monitoring the working of the system, because the Raspberry Pi was be equipped by wireless that will be used for communication to a PC (personal computer) without using cables. the results of this research is a wireless PC can monitor changes 0-10 Volt analog voltage, the output response on the PLC and PLC output can be controlled in accordance with the desired system
