Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita aljabar. Adapun indikator kemampuan panalaran matematis yang diukur meliputi menyajikan penyataan matematika secara tertulis (I1), mangajukan dugaan (I2), melakukan manipulasi matematika (I3), dan menarik kesimpulan (I4). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP IT El-Yasin Batam yang berjumlah 30 siswa terdiri dari 15 siswa putra dan 15 siswa putri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan prosedur munurut Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat 60% siswa putra dan 73,33% siswa putri yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi. Terdapat 26,66% siswa putra dan 6,66% siswa putri yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis sedang. Terdapat 13,33% untuk siswa putra dan 20% untuk siswa putri yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis rendah. Kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa putri lebih baik dari siswa putra, masing-masing dengan siswa putra mendapatkan 6,22 dan siswa putri mendapatkan 8,22.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuanuuntuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran generatif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XII SMAN 5 Batam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian post-test only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMAN 5 Batam. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IPS 1 yang berjumlah 46 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XII IPS 2 yang berjumlah 46 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan instrumen tes sebanyak 5 butir soal uraian yang validitas dan reliabel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis yang meliputi uji one sampel t-Test dan independent sample t-Test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, 1)Model pembelajaran Generatif efektif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XII IPS SMAN 5 Batam Tahun Ajaran  2021/2022. 2)Model pembelajaran Direct Instruction tidak efektif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XII IPS SMAN 5 Batam Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. 3)Terdapat perbedaan keefektifan model pembelajaran Generatif dan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XII SMAN 5 Batam Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1). Knowing the effectiveness of the learning model problem solving toward of student’s mathematics communication abilities, (2). Knowing the effectiveness of the learning model problem posing toward of student’s mathematics communication abilities, (3). Knowing the difference between the effectivenees of the learning model problem solving and problem posing toward of student’s mathematics communication abilities. The experiment was using quasi-experiment methode. Population in this research were students of class 7th SMPN 47 Batam, a sampling technique that uses purposive sampling. Instrument in this research a essay test. The results show that: (1). The learning model problem solving not effectively toward of student’s mathematics communication abilities, (2). The learning model problem posing effectively toward of student’s mathematics communication abilities, (3). There is no difference in effectiveness between the learning model of problem solving and problem posing toward of student’s mathematics communication abilities.Keywords: problem solving learning model, problem posing learning model, and mathematics communication abilities

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Effectiveness of the Cooperative Learning Model Snowball Throwing Type on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is a research experiment with research design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study was XI SMKIT DBS 01 Batam Academic Year 2018/2019. The sampling technique is done by saturating sampling techniques with many students 19 students. The type of test given is a descriptive test consisting of 8 pretest questions and 8 posttest questions which then analyze the instrument using construct validity and reliability so that 8 valid and reliable questions are obtained with reliable values of pretest "0.684" and posttest "0.724" to be a matter of pretest and posttest. Normality test using Kolmogorov Smirnov with the results of normal pretest and posttest data. Hypothesis testing is done using the t test two correlated samples obtained sig. (0.00) ≤ . The results of this study indicate that the cooperative learning model of the snowball throwing type is effective against students' mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation learning styles and learning activeness towards students' mathematics learning outcomes. This study was a correlation study with all students of class VIII SMP II Luqman Al-Hakim Batam as the population, they were 154 students. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 62 students. The data collection method used was documentation and questionnaires. The instrument in this study used was test that was valid and reliable (r1 = 0.841 and r2 = 0.859). The results showed that there was a significant correlation learning styles and student mathematics learning outcomes; there was a significant correlation learning activeness towards student mathematics learning outcomes; and there was a significant correlation learning styles and active learning together towards students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika dan minat belajar matematika siswa masih terbilang rendah. Minat belajar berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa. Tujuan  Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep berdasarkan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMK Management Training Systems, dengan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan prosedur menurut Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun indikator pemahaman konsep yang diukur meliputi menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep ( 14I1" ), mengembangkan syarat perlu atau syarat cukup suatu konsep 14I2" , menggunakan prosedur atau operasi tertentu 14I3" , dan mengaplikasikan konsep untuk pemecahan masalah 14I4" . Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan test sebanyak 2 soal yang telah valid dan reliabel ( 14rii"  = 0,52), dan menggunakan instrumen angket dengan 27 butir pernyataan yang telah valid dan reliabel ( 14rii"  = 0,42). Serta diperkuat dengan hasil wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi memenuhi indikator ( 14I1" ), 14 (I2" ), 14(I4" ) tetapi masih kurang dalam indikator 14(I3" ). Siswa dengan minat belajar sedang dapat memenuhi indikator 14(I1" ) dan 14(I2" ), masih terdapat kesalahan pada indikator 14(I3" ) dan 14(I4" ). Siswa dengan minat belajar rendah hanya memenuhi indikator 14(I1" ), tetapi masih kurang dalam indikator 14(I2" ), 14(I3" ), 14(I4" ).

Abstract

This study aims to produce Exe-Learning-based mathematics e-modules on sequences and series material for grade XI Vocational High School (SMK) that are valid, effective, and practical. This research is development research (RD) with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects were math teachers and class XI students at SMK Putra Jaya Centre. The research instruments were expert assessment sheets, posttest questions, and teacher and student response assessment sheets. Based on the results, the e-module is categorized as very valid with an average score for content eligibility was 3.41, presentation feasibility was 3.60 and language was 3.50. Furthermore, the assessment of media experts obtained an average score on the aspect of graphic feasibility of 3.61 and media feasibility of 3.50. Testing the effectiveness of the e-module based on the results of the students' posttest obtained classical completeness results of 91% in the very effective category, while the teacher and student response questionnaire for the practicality of the e-module was 90% and 88% in the practical category. Thus, the Exe-Learning-based mathematics e-module on sequences and series material for grade XI Vocational High School students that has been developed is declared valid, effective, and practical.

Abstract

The objective of the present study was to analyze the metal content of copper and lead in Enhalus accoroides seagrass in Batam Island waters. Samples of seagrass (E. accoroides) were collected from six locations along the western region of Batam Island then dried and performed with acid destruction. The measurements of Cu and Pb in the samples were conducted by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The result showed that there was an increasing of copper and lead contaminant level on sample E accoroides during two periods in a year.  The Cu level ranged from 0.63 to 46.1 mg/kg, meanwhile, lead level ranged from  2.14 to 10.52mg/kg respectively. The highest accumulation of copper and lead were recorded on leaves, it was reached 10.81 mg/kg and 5.98mg/kg, respectively.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kandungan logam tembaga (Cu) dan timbal (Pb) pada lamun Enhalus accoroides di sepanjang perairan barat Pulau Batam. Sampel lamun dikumpulkan dari enam lokasi  kemudian dikeringkan dan dilakukan destruksi dengan asam. Penentuan kadar logam tembaga dan timbal dalam sampel dilakukan dengan spektrometri serapan atom. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan kadar logam Cu dan Pb pada sampel lamun E. accoroides selama 2 periode sampling dalam 1 tahun. Kadar logam Cu dan Pb pada lamun secara berturut berada pada rentang 0.63-46.1 mg/kg dan 2.14-10.52mg/kg. Akumulasi logam Cu dan Pb dalam lamun E. accoroides tertinggi pada bagian daun sebanyak 10.81 mg/kg Cu dan 5.98 mg/kg Pb.
