Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of expanding the business to be conducted by PT. Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk (WIKA Beton). Expansion efforts will be made by WIKA Beton in the form of new plant construction. Assessment is done by using analysis of capital budgeting. This research is a descriptive research with case study approach. This research was conducted at the headquarters of WIKA Beton is located in Building JW, Highway Jatiwaringin number 54, Pondok Gede, Bekasi. Investment assessment criteria used is the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Profitability Index (PI). The end result of this study is the expansion of the work done by WIKA Beton is feasible because NPV>0, IRR>cost of capital, and PI>1 Keywords: Business Expansion, Capital Budgeting, WIKA Beton ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan ekspansi usaha yang akan dilakukan oleh PT. Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk (WIKA Beton). Ekspansi usaha yang akan dilakukan oleh WIKA Beton dalam bentuk pembangunan pabrik baru. Penilaian dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis capital budgeting. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kantor pusat dari WIKA Beton yang terletak di Gedung JW, Jalan Raya Jatiwaringin nomor 54, Pondok Gede, Bekasi. Kriteria penilaian investasi yang digunakan yaitu metode Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Profitability Index (PI). Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah ekspansi usaha yang dilakukan oleh WIKA Beton dinyatakan layak karena NPV>0, IRR>biaya modal, dan PI>1. Abstract

Bank is a business entity that collects funds from the public in the form of savings and channel them to the public in the form of loans or other forms in order to improve the living standards of people. Islamic banking services related to financial services offered by Islamic banks in the packed products that exist in the Islamic bank, one that characterizes the Islamic bank is based financing for the results of mudaraba and musharaka there is also financing by way of sale and purchase or called murabaha. This study aims to determine the effect mudharabah, musyaraka and murabahah to the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia as well as which of the three financing is a significant influence on the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia. This research uses the object of Islamic banks namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Mega Syariah, BankMuamalat Indonesia and in the period 2005-2010 the realization of financing (murabahah, musyarakah and mudarabah) using a quantitative method with simple regression analysis that will get the parameters of the effect of changing a variable against other variables, which will then get a conclusion. The study reveals that Return on Equity (ROE), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) are significantly affected by mudharabah; and Gross Profit Margin (GPM) is significantly affected by the Musharaka.Keywords: Mudharabah, Musyarakah, Murabahah, ROE, OPM, NPM, GPM
