Abstract

The article had a focus to examine the effectiveness of metacognitive strategies in teaching listening using video media towards the listening proficiency of students in order to overcome the actual obstacles of listening in the class. The participants of the research were the fourth semester students of Chemical Engineering State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. This study was quantitative research. The data collection techniques were taking scores of pretest and posttest done by the students and the data analysis technique was using t-test. The results presented that metacognitive strategies was effective in teaching listening to improve the listening proficiency of students and it indicated a sufficiently great difference of listening proficiency between experiment and control groups.

Abstract

Purpose: The goal of this study is to determine the effectiveness of village budget policies in community economic empowerment during the Covid-19 pandemic by analyzing the implementation of village funds. Design/methodology/approach: The data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis with village leaders and officials. Findings: According to the findings of this study, the implementation of the village fund policy in Pangkul village during the Covid-19 period went off without a hitch. The allocation of village fund budgets in empowering economic communities in Pangkul village was quite effective. People in Pangkul Village were educated on the Covid-19 pandemic. Practical implications: Pangkul Village has also developed a new program, namely a resilient village, in order to keep its community stable and maintained in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

This study aimed to know the influence of financial statement presentation and competency of regional government apparatus in South Sumatera province (Indonesia), both simultaneously and partially toward the financial management accountability. The research method used in this study was explanatory research with 59 respondents at regional financial and asset management agency. The analysis unit of government officials was divided into budgeting department, treasury department, accounting department, and management of regional property department. Data analysis was performed by using multiple regression. The result of study showed that financial statement presentation and competency of regional government apparatus gave 78,7% effect on financial management accountability. Partially, competency of regional government apparatus accessibility on financial management accountability gave bigger contribution compared to financial statement presentation.

Abstract

The author of this final report aims to analyze the calculation of the cost of production based on orders for January 2023 at CV Rantau Bayur Permai. The company is located at Jln. Palembang – Jambi, Sukamoro, Kel. Tanah Mas Kec. Talang Kelapa KM.14 sukajadi, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra 30961. And is a company engaged in convection. From the data obtained by the author through interviews and observations. Based on data from the company, the authors found several problems, namely the company had not classified the cost of raw materials and auxiliary materials, the company had not taken into account the cost of depreciation of equipment and electricity into the calculation of the cost of production, so that the calculation of the cost of production was not correct as a whole. Based on the existing problems, the author suggests grouping raw material costs and supporting material costs and calculating depreciation costs and electricity costs into factory overhead so that the cost of production can be calculated correctly.
