Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar aljabar linera II dengan dan tanpa menggunakan Maple dalam pembelajaran, dan efektivitas penggunaan Maple dalam terhadap hasil belajar aljabar linear II . Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen yang dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019 pada mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika semester IV dan VI yang berjumlah 44 orang. Penitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang dilaksanakan selama 8 kali pertemuan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes uraian dan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Maple dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar aljabar linear II lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research that aims to determine and measure the effect of applying the Missouri Mathematic Project (MMP) learning model to students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This type of research is quantitative research with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were VII grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Bantimurung with 33 random samples taken in one experimental class. Data collection uses tests of students' mathematical problem solving abilities that have been validated by experts. The data of this study were analyzed descriptively and inferentially by the normality test as a test of the prerequisite for analysis. The results of data analysis showed that the average pre-test was 42.09 while the post-test average was 83.73. The average gain normalized score is 0.72 in the high category and is normally distributed for mathematical problem solving ability data. Based on the t-test it can be concluded that there is a significant increase that affects students' mathematical problem solving abilities by applying the Missouri Mathematic project (MMP) learning model.

Abstract

Character education plays a critical role in all aspects of life and thus, it has been widely-adopted in schools. An indication of its success can be reflected in the student learning achievement. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect size of the relationship between character education values and mathematics learning achievement, with a meta-analysis study. In this research, character education value is the independent variable while mathematics learning achievement is the dependent one. The data were obtained from the results of online database search at Google Scholar from 2012-2019. Based on the search, 16 research publications met the criteria determined based on rigorous screening. The data were analyzed using a quantitative meta-analysis approach, specifically correlation meta-analysis. The results show that there was a significant relationship between character education values and students’ mathematics learning achievement. The effect size value was in the moderate effect category. The findings are in line with those of previous studies investigating this relationship and thus, strengthen the theory about the factors that influence mathematics learning achievement. In addition, these findings suggest five-character education values that teachers can provide to improve students’ mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MA Darusslam Barandasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 2 MA Darussalam Barandasi . Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest- posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menguunakan tes, angket serta lembar observasi. Data hasil penelitian terlebih dahulu dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas data, selanjutnya uji one sample t-test dan uji n- gain ternormalisasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar, respon dan aktivitas peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan saintifik berada pada kriteria baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan.
