Abstract

Biogas is a renewable energy which can be used as alternative fuel to replace fossil fuel such as oil and natural gas . Recently, diversification on the use of energy has increasingly become an important issue because the oil sources are depleting . Utilization of agricultural wastes for biogas production can minimize the consumption of commercial energy source such as kerosene as well as the use of firewood . Biogas is generated by the process of organic material digestion by certain anaerobe bacteria activity in aerobic digester . Anaerobic digestion process is basically carried out in three steps i.e. hydrolysis, acidogenic and metanogenic . Digestion process needs certain condition such as C : N ratio, temperature, acidity and also digester design . Most anaerobic digestions perform best at 32 - 35°C or at 50 - 55°C, and pH 6 .8 - 8 . At these temperatures, the digestion process essentially converts organic matter in the present of water into gaseous energy . Generally, biogas consists of methane about 60 - 70% and yield about 1,000 British Thermal Unit/ft 3 or 252 Kcal/0.028 m3 when burned . In several developing countries, as well as in Europe and the United States, biogas has been commonly used as a subtitute environmental friendly energy . Meanwhile, potentially Indonesia has abundant potential of biomass waste, however biogas has not been used maximally . Key words : Biogas, renewal energy, anaerobic

Abstract

The ban against using antibiotics has led to increase the use of alternative additive substances as antibiotic. The alternative additives that can be used as antibiotic are probiotic and prebiotic. Both components can be used separately or together as synbiotic. Probiotic and prebiotic can modulate the ecosytem of intestinal microflora that is potential to affect the health and performance of host. Probiotic and prebiotic have been widely used abroad because of their positive effects, but the research and the use of these components in Indonesia are limited, eventhough abundance of raw material that can be used are available. The research dealing with probiotic and prebiotic as additive is necessary to be improved to obtain the efficient and practical production method, which can be implemented to give an economic impact on livestock industry. Abstract

The investigation was carried out to study the utilization of oligosaccharides from sweet potato as feed additives to improve the performance of laying hens. Oligosaccharides were extracted from sweet potato using 80% ethanol. Extractant and residue were evaluated as feed additive. Ninety six of 18 weeks old laying hens from CP 909 Isa Brown were randomly distributed into four treatments with six replicates and four laying hens per replicate. The treatments were: Ro = Control without oligosaccharides, R1 = R0 + 0.1% of extract of sweet potato. R2 = R0 + with 0.2% of residue of sweet potato, and R3 = R0 +  with 0.2% of commercial FOS. The evaluations were carried out up to 25 weeks of egg production. The data were evaluated with statistical analysis using SAT. The results showed that egg production and FCR of R1 and R2 were better than R0 (P < 0.05). The treatments were not significantly affected feed consumption. In conclusion, addition of extract or residue of sweet potato improved (P < 0.05) egg production and FCR of layers compared to control diet. Abstract

The investigation was carried out to study the effect of oligosaccharides from soybean meal (SBM) and sweet potatoes as feed additives on feed to improve the productivity of broiler. The amounts of 704 day-old chicks from Arbor Arcres were randomly distributed into 16 treatments with 4 repetions  and with 11 chicks in each pens. The treatments  were: 2 level of sweet potato oligosaccharides (0.1 and 0.2%), 2 levels of residue of  sweet potato extracts (0.4 and 0.8%), 2 levels of SBM oligosaccharides (0.1 and 0.2%), 2 levels of residue of SMB extracts, 2 levels of MOS commercial (0.01 and 0.02%) 2 levels of commercial inulin (0.1 and 0.5%), 2 levels of commercial FOS (0.2 and 0.4%) and control with and without antibiotic. The results showed that better FCR (P < 0.05) was seen on the addition of 0.2% sweet potato oligosaccharides at 3 weeks trial, meanwhile on 0.1% addition was able to improved the absorption of Ca and P. The trial up to 5 weeks, only treatment with 0.8% of residue have a better FCR value (P < 0.05). The effect of utilization of SMB oligosaccharides was only observed on 0.8% residue at 5 weeks trial which have a better FCR value. It could be concluded that the extract of oligosaccharides from soybean meal and sweet potatoes could improve the effisiency of broiler feed. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis isi berita yang disajikan dalam rubrik Gelora Harian Wawasan. Diantaranya mengenai lingkup berita, jenis olahraga, ukuran berita, tujuan berita, kelengkapan lead, nilai berita, pemuatan foto dan penggunaan kutipan langsung.Pendekatan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode analisis isi,. Populasi penelitian adalah semua isi berita olahraga dalam rubrik Gelora Harian Wawasan pada edisi April 2016 sampai Maret 2017. Menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan sampel 100 edisi atau 583 berita olahraga. Uji reliabilitas intercoder diperoleh koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 82% dan menghasilkan 480 berita olahraga. Hasil penelitian menunjukan proporsi berita daerah 63%, nasional 25% dan internasional 59%; olahraga prestasi  98.3%, rekreasi 1.3% dan pendidikan 0.4%;. berita ukuran  sedang 55%, panjang 29% dan pendek 16%; Informational news 38%, announcement news 13%, follow up 13%, image building 19% dan clarification 17%; lead lengkap 62% dan lead tidak lengkap 38%; berita aktual 42%, akibat 13%, kedekatan 13%, konflik 26%, orang penting 7% dan kejutan 12%; berita berfoto 59% dan tidak berfoto 41%. Berita menggunakan kutipan 93% dan tidak menggunakan kutipan 7%. Simpulan penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan proporsi antar kategori dari setiap unit analisis berita. Kata-kata kunci : berita, olahraga, gelora harian wawasan

Abstract

Artikel ini didasarkan pada penelitian kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan (1) tipe kesalahan siswa berdasarkan prosedur Newman yang dilakukan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Wonosobo dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pemecahan masalah; (2) penyebab kesalahan siswa tersebut; dan (3) solusi untuk meminimalkan kesalahan tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian diambil 6 orang dari 32 siswa kelas VII E, masing-masing terdiri dari 2 siswa dari kelompok atas, sedang, bawah. Uji keabsahan data, dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) semakin tinggi kategori pada prosedur Newman maka semakin banyak kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa, subjek pada kelompok atas mengalami kesalahan pada tahap transfomasi, keterampilan proses, dan penulisan, subjek pada kelompok sedang mengalami kesalahan pada tahap trasformasi dan penulisan, serta subjek pada kelompok bawah mengalami kesalahan pada tahap memahami dan transformasi; (2) penyebabnya yaitu siswa tidak utuh dalam mengidentifikasi informasi yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan, tidak tepat memanipulasi aljabar dari soal, kesalahan dalam melakukan operasi aljabar, tidak membuat kesimpulan, serta siswa tersebut tidak sengaja melakukan kesalahan namun siswa tersebut dapat memperbaiki kesalahannya; dan (3) solusi untuk meminimalkan kesalahan tersebut yaitu siswa perlu lebih banyak dilatih untuk menyelesaikan soal-soal tidak rutin sehingga siswa akan terampil dalam menyelesaikannya

Abstract

Tidak sedikit siswa kesulitan dalam memahami teorema Phythagoras. Hal ini salah satunya dipicu oleh kurang berkembangnya pemikiran HOTS siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Selain itu, kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi Pythagoras disebabkan karena guru hanya mengajarkan rumus-rumus matematika tanpa membantu siswa dalam memahami konsepnya. Akibat dari masalah ini, siswa kesulitan untuk menerapkan rumus Pythagoras pada permasalahan matematika. Maka diperlukan pengembangan pembelajaran berupa teori instruksional lokal yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pemikiran HOTS siswa. Pendekatan pembelajaran menggunakan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia berbantuan Geogebra. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Design Research yang memiliki tiga fase: (1) fase preparation and design (thought experiment); (2) fase teaching experiment (instruction experiment); serta (3) fase retrospective analysis (menghasilkan conjectured local instruction theory). Metode pengumpulan data berupa catatan lapangan, wawancara, rekam suara dan poto-poto ketika mengajar. Dari pengembangan pembelajaran yang diterapkan menunjukan adanya hasil yang positif dalam proses perkembangan hasil berfikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Pengembangan pembelajaran teori Instruksional lokal pada materi Pythagoras menggunakan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik Indonesia berbantuan Geogebra pada kelas VIII mampu mengembangkan kemampuan HOTS siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe problem with implementing inclusive education at SD Lab School FIP UMJ is the school's lack of attention to teacher competence and administration prepared for slow learner students, and the absence of an Individual Learning Program. The purpose of this research is to see the development of academic ability (literacy) and independent behavior of slow learner students through the development of Individual Learning Programs. The benefit of the research is that the Individual Learning Program can help slow learner students in achieving long-term and short-term goals, and slow learner students are able to participate in learning activities based on their abilities and Basic Competencies (KD). The research was conducted in class 4.1 of SD Lab School FIP UMJ. The object of the research is slow learner students in grade 4.1 SD Lab School FIP UMJ. This research method uses mixed methods (R&D) research with the ADDIE instructional design model. Collecting data from observations, interviews and documentation. The results of research on the development of the Individual Learning Program in improving academic development (literacy) and independent behavior of slow learner students experience differences and changes between pre-development and post-development. The ability to read and write pre-development 32% while post-development 61%. Pre-development arithmetic ability is 40% while post-development is 74%. The ability to behave independently pre-development 38% while post-development 97%.ABSTRAKPermasalahan penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi di SD Lab School FIP UMJ adalah kurangnya perhatian sekolah terhadap kompetensi guru dan administrasi yang dipersiapkan kepada siswa slow learner, serta tidak adanya Program Pembelajaran Individual. Tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini untuk melihat perkembangan kemampuan akademik (literasi) dan prilaku mandiri siswa slow learner melalui pengembangan Program Pembelajaran Individual. Manfaat penelitiannya adalah dengan adanya Program Pembelajaran Individual dapat membantu siswa slow learner dalam menggapai tujuan jangka panjang dan jangka pendek, serta siswa slow learner mampu mengikuti kegiatan belajar berdasarkan kemampuan dan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) yang dimiliki. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas 4.1 SD Lab School FIP UMJ. Objek penelitiannya adalah siswa slow learner yang ada di kelas 4.1 SD Lab School FIP UMJ. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian mixed methods (R&D) dengan instructional design model ADDIE. Pengumpulan data dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian pengembangan Program Pembelajaran Individual dalam meningkatkan perkembangan akademik (literasi) dan prilaku mandiri siswa slow learner mengalami perbedaan dan perubahan antara pra pengembangan dan pasca pengembangan. Kemampuan membaca dan menulis pra pengembangan 32% sedangkan pasca pengembangan 61%. Kemampuan berhitung pra pengembangan 40% sedangkan pasca pengembangan 74%. Kemampuan prilaku mandiri pra pengembangan 38% sedangkan pasca pengembangan 97%.

Abstract

The role of Islamic teacher as an educator in realizing human morality who have faith and be pious to Allah SWT, skilled good in character, good in wanner, dicipline, hard working taough, responsible, skilled and aslo healthy in physical and spiritual become important measurement. Success in building learners morality become important reference, wether the teacher success or not in doing their duties. In contitution No 20, 2003 about National Education System, legally give guarantee about special student with that, Islamic teacher obliged to educate the special student (Tunagrahita). How does the teacher educate the spesial student? What are the efforts needed to do in order to that students have morallity in accordance with the aim of education Base on the problem background the writer conduct the research with some aims a) to know the solution to develop tunagrahita students morallity in SLBN Budi Utama Cirebon, b) to know the Islamic teachers efforts in developing tunagrahita studens morallity, c) to know the succes of Islamic teacher in developing Tunagrahita students morallity in SLBN Budi Utama Cirebon. The mthode used in the research is gualitative approaching to understand the phenomena about what research subject experienced, moral values, behaviour, action and other holisticly. The technic of collecting the data by observing, documenting and interviewing. The technic of data analizing Include data reducting, serving and conclusing. The conclusion from the research abut the efforts of Islamic teacher in develop ing Tunagrahita morallity are (1) Using rule methode, (2) Using habitution method some ways to get use to the students to build goog morality are (a) Sholat Dhuha everyday (b) Sholat zuhur toghether (c) Speak politely (d) Greeting and shaking hands with teacher (e) Reading asmaul husna and al-Qur’an (f) Giving advice Abstrak Peran Guru Agama Islam sebagai pendidik dalam mewujudkan moral manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berbudi pekerti luhur, berkepribadian, berdisiplin, bekerja keras, tangguh dan bertanggung jawab, terampil serta sehat jasmani dan rohani menjadi tolak ukur penting. Kesuksesan dalam mencetak moral peserta didik menjadi acuan penting berhasil tidaknya seorang Guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Kita ketahui dalam Undang-Undang No. 20 tahun 2003 tetang sistem pendidikan Nasional, secara Yuridis telah memberikan jaminan tentang perlunya anak-anak dengan kondisi khusus memperoleh layanan pendidikan yang khusus. Dengan ini tentu Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam berkewajiban mendidik anak berkebutuhan khusus/Tuna Grahita. Lalu bagaimana cara Guru Agama Islam dalam mendidik anak berkebutuhan khusus dan upaya apa saja yang perlu dilakukan agar anak berkebutuhan khusus memiliki moral sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan dengan kita ketahui bersama pastinya memiliki penanganan tersendiri. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut penulis melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan (a) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang di hadapi guru pendidikan agama islam, serta solusinya dalam mengembangkan moral anak tunagrahita ringan di SLBN Budi Utama Cirebon. (b) untuk mengetahui upaya guru pendidikan agama islam dalam mengembangkan moral anak tunagrahita ringan di SLBN Budi Utama Cirebon (c) untuk mengetahui keberhasilan guru pendidikan agama islam dalam mengembangkan moral anak tunagrahita ringan di SLBN Budi Utama Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif dimana untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek peneliatian seperti: nilai-nilai moral, perilaku, tindakan, dan lainya secara holistik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini mengenai upaya Guru Agama Islam dalam mengembangkan moral anak tuna grahita yaitu (1) menggunakan metode keteladanan dan (2) menggunakan metode pembiasaan, adapun cara membiasakan peserta didik untuk membentuk moral yang baik yaitu: (a) Pembiasaan Shalat Dhuha (b) Pembiasaan Shalat Dhuhur secara berjamaah (c) Pembiasaan bertutur kata baik (d) Pembiasaan mengucapkan salam dan mencium tangan guru (e) Pembiasaan membaca asmaul husna dan membaca surat-surat pendek (f) Pemberian Nasihat.
