Abstract

This research was aimed to determine fermentation influence to soya nutrition. The variations in this research were fermentation period (1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, 5 days and 6 days) and bio-N concentration (10 ml/2 kg soya waste, 20 ml/2kg tofu waste and 30 ml/2 kg tofu waste). The nutrition which examined with proksimat analysis were rough protein, rough fibre, extract non nitrogen (BETN), rough fat. The result showed that the optimum period of fermentation was 4 days and the effective bio-N concentration was 20 ml/2 kg tofu waste. The rough protein increased to 26,07%, and rough fat increased to 17,35%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the unit of slaughterhouse treatment plant and find the basic problems, which caused it couldn’t work as properly. Then designed a strategy to attract the operator of illegal slaughterhouses to do the activity at the legal slaughterhouse. The result showed that there were several strategies that could be implemented on this case and divided into two major strategies, which were technical strategy and the non technical strategy with depend on its urgency which were long term strategy, middle term strategy and short term strategy.

Abstract

A mathematical modelling was developed based on the theory of mass balance for the oil spills dispersion simulation. The model was tested in Dumai waters, PT. Caltex Pacific Indonesia, and eventually compared with reference model of Worldwide Oil Spill Modelling (WOSM). Dispersion model calculation was based on the spills of 1000 Barrels of Sumatran Light Oil. The simulation demonstrated that the concentration of oil dispersion with 10 m depth after 24 hours was 1.84 x 10-1 gr/m3, while the simulation result of WOSM was 8.84 x 103 gr/m3. The difference was due to the fact that the model was developed by a very simple assumption, that is only taking into account the advection process but not the transformation factor.
