Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of compound TKKS and NPK  fertilizerAnd get the best combinationNPKand TKKSon the growth ofcocoa seedlings(Theobroma cacao L.).This research was conducted at the experimental station Faculty of Agriculture,University of Riau in august-november 2013.Completely Randomized Designwith twoFactor use in this experiment the treatment consisted factor 1 isGivingCompostTKKSwith4 levels, namely: (K0): WithoutgivingTKKSCompound, (K1): GivingCompound TKKSdose20g /polybag, (K2): Givinga dose of40g ofcompoundTKKS/polybag, (K3): GivingCompoundTKKSdoses of 60g/polybag. FactorII: NPKfertilizerwith4 levels: (M0): WithoutNPK fertilizer, (M1): NPKdose of1g/polybag, (M2): NPKdose of2g/polybag, (M3): NPKdose3g/polybag.Data wereanalyzed using analysist of varianceand mean separation with Duncan's testNewMultiple Range Testatthe 5 % level. The Parametersmeasured were theplant height(cm), stemdiameter(mm), number of leaves(strands), leafarea(cm2). The results showed that application of Giving Compound TKKS doses of 60 g / polybag and NPK fertilizer dose of 2 g / polybag give a better effect on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter and number of leaves. GivingCompoundTKKSnotaffectsignificantly affectedall treatments. NPK fertilizerwitha dose of2g/polybagbettereffecton theparameters ofplant height, stem diameter andnumber of leaves. Keywords:Cocoa, TKKSCompound, FertilizerNPK.

Abstract

Geotechnical and soil mechanics investigations are one of the supporting elements in the construction of a building, starting from planning activities to implementation activities. Based on detailed and thorough geotechnical investigations during field implementation, it is expected to obtain accurate and reliable data so that a clear picture of the condition, nature and composition of soil/rock layers will be obtained. The purpose of this Community Development Activity is to provide education to civil engineering students on how to use a soil mechanics test tool using Sondir 2.5 ton capacity. In its implementation, the method used in this soil mechanics test is the cone penetration test method, which is a static soil test in the field using a metal cone with a sensor at the end, which is mechanically pressed into the ground at a constant speed. The results of the tests carried out at 2 (two) locations showed that there was a hard soil layer at the first location at a depth of > 10 meters, and no hard soil layer was found at the second location.

Abstract

SMKN 1 Singingi Hilir is a vocational high school (SMK) located in Petai, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, and is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. In its educational delivery, this school implements a vocational learning system that encompasses productive, normative, and adaptive subjects as a unified process that students must complete. Productive learning focuses on mastering competencies in accordance with the student's chosen major, while normative and adaptive learning support the development of character, general knowledge, and other supporting skills. To ensure the achievement of educational goals and graduate competencies, systematic and ongoing learning evaluation is necessary. Evaluation serves not only to measure learning outcomes but also to assess the effectiveness of the learning methods, strategies, and media used. Evaluation of productive subjects is a particular focus because it directly relates to students' readiness to enter the workforce or continue their education to a higher level. With appropriate evaluation, the quality of learning and the quality of graduates are expected to continuously improve.
