Abstract

The main goal of this study was to describe the psychological characteristics of the athletes of archery, tae kwon do, Pencak Silat, football, athletics, volley ball, and sepaktakraw in the Center for Students Education and Training (CSET). The data were collected from 104 male and female athletes. The study showed that among the groups of athletes of different sports had different psychological characteristics. Footballers had the best motivation, self-confidence, and mental preparation. Athletes of tae kwon do had the best control of anxiety and concentration, but the lowest motivation. Volleyball athletes had the highest team concern, but the lowest concentration, self-confidence, and mental preparation, compared to those from the other sports. The athletes of athletics had the lowest team concern, and the athletes of pencak silat had the lowest control of anxiety compared to athletes from the other sports. Abstract

Era revolusi industri 4.0 memicu permintaan profesional sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang memiliki kompetensi yang tidak sama dengan kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan pada mulanya. Pada profesi guru juga berdampak adanya perubahan konsep pekerjaan, struktur pekerjaan dan kompetensi yang diperlukan dalam pembelajaran. Guru profesional harus memiliki kompetensi dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran yang efektif sesuai dengan kebutuhan pada jamannya sehingga menghasilkan peserta didik yang cerdas dan berkualitas. Untuk itu sebagai guru dituntut mampu mempersiapkan peserta didik berpikir kritis dan mampu memecahkan masalah sehari–hari melalui pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada keterampilan berfikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS).

Abstract

This study aims to describe and provide recommendations regarding the proper management of extracurricular sports activities in senior high schools in Tarakan City. Extracurricular activities play an important role in helping students develop their potential. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Subjects included principals, physical education teachers or extracurricular sports coordinators, and sports coaches from 14 randomly selected religious, public, and private senior high schools in Tarakan City. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data analysis process included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that: (1) Planning for extracurricular sports activities is generally carried out through coordination meetings among the parties involved to organize activities during one school year. Scheduling is the responsibility of the extracurricular coordinator and is arranged in consultation with the sports supervisor or coach to avoid conflicts with other school events. Coaches also prepare training programs as part of the planning process. (2) Extracurricular sports activities are held in the afternoon, outside of regular school hours, based on a schedule prepared by the coordinator and vice principal for student affairs. (3) Evaluations are conducted at least once every three months and involve various school stakeholders. Aspects evaluated include student attendance, participation in learning, and training outcomes. (4) Supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, funding, student competency, and teacher involvement. Conversely, inhibiting factors include low student attendance, limited funding, inadequate or inadequate facilities, and unfavorable weather conditions. These findings provide an overview of how extracurricular sports activities are managed in high schools in Tarakan City and highlight the importance of effective planning, implementation, and evaluation. This study also identifies key factors that support and hinder the success of these programs, offering insights for future improvements.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze: (1) the influence of service quality on motivation in individual and team sports; (2) the influence of service quality on satisfaction in individual and team sports; (3) financial influence on motivation in individual and team sports; (4) financial influence on satisfaction in individual and team sports. This type of research is quantitative, correlational research with survey methods. The collection technique uses interviews and questionnaires which are distributed to respondents via Google Form, the instrument uses a Likert Scale. The research population was athletes and coaches of the PON regional training center, with a total sampling technique of 137 respondents. The sample consists of 31 individual and team sports. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a PLS approach. The results of research on individual sports are: (1) service quality has a positive and significant effect on motivation; (2) service quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction; (3) finances have a positive but not significant effect on motivation; (4) finances have a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Meanwhile, the results of research on team sports are: (1) service quality has a positive and significant effect on motivation; (2) service quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction; (3) finances have a significant negative effect on motivation; (4) finances have a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. It was concluded that to motivate regional training center athletes by improving management, especially in service quality, finances for individual sports and team sports. It is necessary to pay attention that team sports have a more complex character such as; the number of athletes is greater, the need for greater equipment, the risk of injury, and the dominant teamwork factor, compared to individual sports which have a higher level of stress. In providing financial assistance between individual sports and team sports, KONI DIY does not need to differentiate, because the research results have no significant influence on the motivation of athletes at regional training center. Improving financial management at the KONI regional training center will have an impact on athlete satisfaction, which is expected to improve athlete performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat mahasiswa prodi PJKR FIKK UNY Angkatan 2018 terhadap profesi guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PJKR FIK UNY Angkatan 2018 terhadap profesi guru dengan jumlah 185 mahasiswa. Sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 146 responden, pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan syarat mahasiswa aktif PJKR FIK UNY Angkatan 2018 dan mengisi pada waktu yang ditentukan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data menggunakan angket. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga indikator untuk mengukur variabel minat yaitu indikator kognisi, emosi, dan konasi. Validasi instrument menggunakan validasi ahli dan validasi empiris menggunakan rumus product moment. Sedangkan uji uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik cornbach alpha. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deksriptif, yaitu mencari nilai distribusi frekuensi dan nilai variabel minat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PJKR FIKK UNY memiliki minat terhadap profesi guru sebesar 82,05% atau berada pada kategori tinggi.Abstract: This study aims to determine the interest of PJKR FIKK UNY Class of 2018 students in the teaching profession. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research with survey method. The population of this study were PJKR FIK UNY Class of 2018 students towards the teaching profession with a total of 185 students. The sample obtained was 146 respondents, sampling with purposive sampling technique with the condition that active students of PJKR FIK UNY Class of 2018 and filling in at the specified time. The instrument used to collect data uses a questionnaire. This study uses three indicators to measure interest variables, namely indicators of cognition, emotion, and conation. Instrument validation uses expert validation and empirical validation using the product moment formula. While the reliability test uses the cornbach alpha technique. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, namely finding the frequency distribution value and the value of the interest variable. The results showed that PJKR FIKK UNY students had an interest in the teaching profession of 82.05% or in the high category.
