Abstract

Pet hotel is a pet care service where pet owners can leave their pets for several days. In Surabaya, finding an ideal place for pets is quite a difficult task. Because not everyone is willing and able to accept and take care a pet. In addition, there’re also many pet shops in Surabaya that don’t provide pet hotel service, so finding a pet hotel in surabaya is a real challenge. Another thing that also makes it difficult to find a pet hotel is the lack of information about pet shops that have pet hotel services. Most of the pet shops in Surabaya still rely on brochures and word-of-mouth method to spread information about their businesses. This of course will make it difficult for pet owners to find a pet hotel. In this thesis an Android based application for searching pet hotel will be craeted by implementing Simple Additive Weighting Method in the application system. The implentation of SAW method is aimed to find the best alternative based on the criteria determined by survey. The criteria used included number of staff, the capacity of animal that can be accomodated, the type of location, number of facilites, facility price, and animal price. The searching process is done with the user giving weight for each criteria then SAW will determine which pet hotel has the highest priority, namely the pet hotel that best suits the user’s preference.The final result of this thesis is an application that can help pet owners find pet hotels in Surabaya with preferences that best suit the user’s wishes based on the Simple Additive Weighting method. The result of the Simple Additve Weighting testing conducted show that the SAW calculations performed in the applcation have been able to provide the same result as the calculations done manually.

Abstract

Technology progress is so fast that everyone is using computers all the time. Making it easier for users to do something. Thus encouraging people to combine hardware and software to help in technological progress. Nowdays many things need electricity so that without electricity humans can experience great difficulties. Example smartphone is the most widely used technology and has become a very important technology in human life. But if the smartphone battry runs out, the smartphone needs to be recharged.For this reason, one solution to this problem is the existence of an pplication that can monitor the use of electrical energy in order to help humans to control electricity usage, such as a notification when excessive amounts of electricity are detected.The test results show that the factors that influence the accuracy of the photodiode Light Sensor are the light around the sensor and the blinking speed of the kWh meter. The more light around the photodiode Light Sensor, the smaller of sensitivity of the sensor and the faster of the Led on the kWh meter allows for missed sensor readings when sending data.

Abstract

In this day, the delivery of promo information to people can be done easily. Lots of sites that provide information about food promos. Of course the site can help people find the most profitable promos. However, some sites still do not provide complete search features. In addition, there may be promos on the same food supply business, but with a different prices. Of course people will try to find food promos at the best prices. This takes a lot of time, and also less efficient to do. The Naïve Bayes process is also used to determine wheter the promo is in the food category or not. The application was made to collect all promo information from promo provider websites. To do this, we need a server that can retrieve promo data on each promo provider site. After the retriaval process, the data processing and classification process is carried out wheter the promo is in the food category or not. Data that has been processed will be displayed on the application. Based on the result of test that been done on program, program managed to collecting, processing, and displaying data about a promo from promo provider websites. The Naïve Bayes classification process successfully applied to differentiate promos according to category, although there were still shortcomings in the classification process.

Abstract

School and university transfers are widely used, but the location of the shuttle at this time cannot be tracked. Viewed from this aspect the user needs a system that can see the location of the shuttle vehicle and a system that is able to connect between the owner, driver and user. Viewed from the aspect of the driver, the driver also needs a system that is able to provide navigation guidance on routes that can be used to get to a place or destination.This Android-based shuttle system application is intended to help owners, drivers and users to improve the quality of the shuttle system. This application will be made using the Java language using Android Studio. This mobile based application helps the owner to determine the schedule every week and every day, monitor the location of each driver. In addition, it can help the driver to get navigation about the route to reach a location or destination.The test results show that this application runs well on devices such as Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). This application runs weekly and daily schedule settings, notification features, displays driver information, chat features, and navigation features making it easier for drivers to use the best routes.

Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in the distributor of building materials. Application owned by PT. X is currently unable to accommodate employees' needs to record sales when there is no internet connection and cannot record the location of sales employees when making sales order transactions. Therefore, a new application is needed that can store temporary data on the user's device when there is no internet connection.In this journal an Android application will be created that can help sales employees at PT. X conducts sales transactions and saves data offline on the device. Applications that are made will also be supported by the GPS feature to record the location of employees when making sales orders.The final result of this journal is an Android-based sales application that can help sales employees from PT. X to see the data needed and make transactions through applications that are made either when there is an internet connection or not.
