Abstract

The science of steganography leads to a branch of computer science that is about hiding data information in media that cannot be easily detected. There are many types of media for steganography. The most popular ones are digital images. Along with the development of the science of steganalysis, there is needs of a way to add security to the hidden data. With steganalysis, one can easily reveal existence of hidden data in media files. Therefore, this study seeks to answer the need for securing the data. The program is an application that is useful for securing hidden data. The function of this program is to encrypt data that will be hidden using the AES cipher method. By converting hidden data into ciphertext, even though hidden data can be taken its form is still in the form of text that cannot be read without using the key used to encrypt. This process involves data that will be hidden to be converted into ciphertext first and finally steganography will be performed using least significant bits. Not only that, the program will also compress stego image. From the results of the encryption, steganography and compression trials, the hidden image data can be retrieved using the key used during encryption. The hidden data does not experience loss of information because the process is carried out lossless. The hidden data has been compared with extracted data and produces unlimited PSNR values.

Abstract

In the development of game, terrain is the first thing that theplayer see in the game. Landscape, assets on terrain, and theheight kurvator on the terrain will give an environment that canenhance the experience in playing. But the process of making suchterrain will take a long time because of the terrain setting whichdevelopers do. Moreover, if the developer needs to create manyterrain with a similar parameter. not just that, because thesimilarity from the terrain, the terrain itself will becomerepetitive. To avoid that, it is better to use the Procedural ContentGenerator or PCG to create a base terrain with every project.Simplex noise is one of many PCG method to generate a terrainheight map to be developed by developer. Terrain that had beengenerated can be explore by the player , and to diminish thechance of slump because of the repetitive play, the surface will bedifferent each time the method generate. This paper will be focus on the implementation of simplex noise togenerate a base terran for a 3D game with the usage of C# fromunity. simplex noise will generate 3 biomes which are the forest, savanna, mountain. Perlin noise will be implemented as well forthe purpose of comparison method, perlin noise will generate thesame biome as simplex noise. This program will see the result ofthe surface generated by both methods. This paper will test some terrain models by how the result ofsimplex generated terrain and perlin generated terrain can makea variety for terrain. Terrain will change each time the method isrunning in the program. In the result of the paper, it is found thatperlin have an advantage to generate that have a low to middleheight terrain and simplex have the advantage to generate aterrain that have a middle to high height.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the city travel activities where people and their families enjoy the beauty of the tourist sites. With so many tourist locations in various cities specifically the city of Surabaya, it is necessary to develop an application that can help in terms of finding a specific tourist location for the city of Surabaya. In this research, an application was made to utilize AR (Augmented reality) technology using the JavaScript-based Wikitude SDK library as a means of searching tourist attractions, so that users could more easily find tourist locations using a smartphone camera. This application will run on Android devices.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the most consumed staple food is rice, the rice comes from the rice plants, besides rice, there is also cassava and corn plants. The success of harvesting these crops can affect the country's food welfare, but pest and diseases can cause crop failure. Therefore, a program was created to identify diseases in these plants to maximize crop yields. In the process of identifying the disease, the problem that often occurs is the identification of the characteristics of the disease. With the development of technology, disease recognition can be done automatically using a Neural Network. This study uses the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the Inception v3 architecture. In addition, the model used will be converted using TensorFlow Lite so that it can be used on Android-based smartphone applications. The program results from this study identified diseases in maize, potato, cassava, and rice plants. Based on the tests carried out, an average accuracy value of 90.77% was obtained in testing data test. Testing in the field actually produces an average accuracy of 65.00%.

Abstract

Thesis is a task given by the university to students as a final assessment of the learning process that has been taken for several semesters. After completing the thesis, students submit their research results to the campus as a thesis collection. At Petra Christian University, every thesis collected is given a subject as the thesis category. However, giving this subject is still manual, so we need a system that can help determine the subject of the thesis. The system that is equipped with text mining features will help the library in determining the subject of the thesis. The steps taken are preprocessing consisting of punctual removal, stopword removal, and stemming. Then the process of extracting text data into numbers using TF-IDF. Furthermore, the data will be trained using the Support Vector Machine method which will produce a model and be used to predict subjects from input text. The trained data is the title data and abstract of the existing thesis.. The results of the research conducted showed that in the construction of the SVM classification model the parameters TF-IDF max_df 1, n-gram (1,2), smooth_idf and sublinear_tf true, linear SVM kernel with C 100 for the thesis title and max_df 0.25, n-gram (1,1), smooth_idf and sublinear_tf false, rbf SVM kernel with C 100 and gamma 0.01 for the thesis abstract. Both the title and abstract of the thesis require preprocessing, resample, and l2 normalization.

Abstract

Crime is a form of violation of the law, which always exists in society. Crime, crime, high unemployment rate that can lead to criminal action. For example, during the pandemic, there were several crimes committed, of course, for each city, it was different, Mojokerto City had a lot of criminal acts of drug use. Not only do criminal acts occur, non-criminal acts also occur, such as accidents, fires, etc. Based on the criminal and non-criminal problems that occur in society, it must have a media for reporting against criminals and non-criminals directly and quickly and can handling when many criminals are reported. So this program uses the Haversine method to see the shortest distance so that the shortest route can be created, and the Multiple Criteria Utility Assessment method to get a score for handling reporting at the same time. With this method, the reporter can see the shortest route and the estimated time between the user and the police, as well as the application with the next method when there are many reports. Then admin sees the existing weight so that he immediately takes care to reduce unwanted things.
