Abstract

With the advancement of wireless communication technology, appropriate solutions such as LoRa SX1278, a long-range intermediate module with a wider range of IoT applications have become available. Nevertheless, problems still exist, especially in Non-Line of Sight (N-LoS) circumstances that can favor transmission. On the other hand, the demand for more effective motors in the household sector is growing, where DC motors provide purchasing managers with advanced and low-cost direct control capabilities over AC induction motors. Suggested approaches include the use of omni-directional antennas to increase the transmission range of LoRa as well as the application of DC motors to improve operational efficiency. This work develops the necessary techniques to increase the communication range of LoRa and optimize the use of DC motors in a small industrial setting. The research procedure consisted of investigating the automatic control of a 12V DC motor using an Arduino Uno and a DHT22 temperature sensor, and the study of remote control via LoRa SX1278 with switching mode logic. The tests conducted confirmed that the percentage error of DC motor control was 0.78%, 0.42%, and 0.26% in each category, respectively. There is also a clear 600m and 6250m data transmission range on the LoRa in two different locations, featuring the same switching logic. In summary, the embellishment of LoRa SX1278 through omni-directional antenna anchoring and mode switching logic on the LoRa SX1278-based DC motor control system displays efficient operation and extended transmission range, thus offering antimicrobial potential in household industrial applications.

Abstract

The current public street lighting system (PJU) still uses manual panel control. With these problems to find out the condition of the lights from the public street lighting (PJU) is running well or not and to find out whether the lights are on or off. From this statement, the purpose of this study is to determine 1) the sensitivity distance of the PIR (Passive Infrared Receiver) sensor with Movement on a microcontroller-based PJU to save electrical energy. 2) comparison of Current When measured using an ampere clamp and Node-red. The method used is experimental, namely Referring to two sets of variables. The first set functions as a constant. The results of the study show that 1) Based on the test results, it was found that the PIR sensor works when the human object is at a distance of 1 to 8 meters and can be detected objects in bright or dark conditions. 2) Based on the test results, it was found that the PZEM-004T sensor When given a load, the greater the current load given to the device, the current value read on the Node-red.

Abstract

In the process of documenting files for academic quality assurance and human resources recruitment, it is still conventional where there is still a physical accumulation of files, so that it can slow down the search for files or data needed, and can result in the risk of losing important data. In addition, the unavailability of a Human Resources (HR) recruitment information system that can facilitate prospective applicants for lecturers and staff The method of system development used in this study is the Structured Systems Analysis and Design (SSAD) Methodology. This methodology has several important stages that must be carried out in designing and building E-Dokument in the IIB Darmajaya Information Systems study program With the existence of a mobile-based quality assurance e-document system, it is hoped that it can assist the department in documenting quality assurance files. This system can be accessed by the KBK department, the department secretary and the head of the department of all str level study programs
