Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of group guidance service by using discussion technique to improve interpersonal intelligence of the eighth grade learners of Junior High School in Sragen. Based on the hypothesis test with the score of tcount=2,703>ttable=1.67 which means Ho was rejected and Ha is accepted, thus the group guidance service by using discussion technique is effective to improve interpersonal intelligence of the eighth grade learners of Junior High School in Sragen. In conclusion, the group guidance service by using discussion technique is effective to improve interpersonal intelligence of students.

Abstract

Anggrek merupakan salah satu tanaman hias yang populer di Indonesia. Tanaman anggrek merpati (Dendrobium crumenatum) merupakan anggrek yang cukup populer karena bentuk bunganya yang seperti burung merpati sedang terbang. Tanaman ini banyak direkomendasikan untuk pemula yang ingin memulai merawat anggrek karena tanaman ini termasuk tanaman yang tidak rewel dalam proses perawatannya. Anggrek merpati memiliki habitat hidup yang luas, mulai dari Indonesia, Singapura, Thailand, hingga ke Filipina dan Papua, sehingga mudah ditemui bahkan pada cabang-cabang pohon pinggir jalan sekalipun. Anggrek ini juga dapat bertahan hidup hampir di mana pun, baik itu daerah dataran tinggi maupun dataran rendah. Meski tergolong tidak rewel, tidak berarti anggrek merpati bebas dari ancaman hama. Hama adalah hewan-hewan kecil perusak seperti serangga, tungau, ulat, keong dan sebagainya. Hewan ini merusak tanaman dengan menghisap cairan atau memakan bagian dari tanaman, yang mengakibatkan kualitas atau nilai jual dari keindahan tanaman anggrek menjadi turun Dari masalah tersebut, dibuatlah sistem ini untuk memudahkan pembudidaya anggrek dalam hal merawat tanaman anggrek. Alat ini menggunakan NodeMCU, Wemos, sensor Pir, sensor kelembaban tanah (soil moisture), dan sensor Ldr. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeteksi hama yang bisa dikontrol melalui internet dengan jarak jauh, yang memudahkan untuk mengecek hama walaupun sedang tidak dirumah.

Abstract

Sistem penyiraman otomatis merupakan suatu sistem yang dapat membantu seseorang dalam merawat dan menyiram tanaman secara otomatis serta dapat memonitoring pertumbuhannya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan suatu tanaman yaitu, kelembapan udara, kelembapan tanah dan suhu, yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan pada tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memonitoring suatu pertumbuhan tanaman dilihat dari suhu, Kelembapan udara serta Kelembapan tanahnya. Data yang dihitung menggunakan mikrokontroler dengan Sensor DHT22 untuk membaca parameter suhu dan parameter Kelembapan udara serta sensor Soil Moisture yang dapat membaca parameter dari Kelembapan tanah dengan berbasis Internet of Things. Kemudian data diolah menggunakan perangkaian metode C4.5 untuk mengetahui baik tidaknya pertumbuhan tanaman yang diuji. Dari tiga parameter yaitu Kelembapan udara, Kelembapan tanah, serta suhu dibagi menjadi 75% untuk data training dan 25% untuk data testing sehingga hasil yang didapat subur tidaknya suatu tanaman yang diuji. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya yang berkaitan dengan materi atau pengguna algoritma yang digunakan.

Abstract

This study delves into the positive impact of Green Human Resource Management practices on job satisfaction and employee well-being within Indonesian companies, with a specific focus on the real estate development sector. As part of a burgeoning global movement towards environmental consciousness, Indonesian businesses are increasingly embracing eco-friendly practices to bolster their competitive edge, cultivate an environmentally responsible image, and attract employees who prioritise sustainability. The research meticulously examines the efficacy of distinct GHRM practices, such as environmental training and decision-making involvement, in nurturing employee well-being and job satisfaction. The methodology employs a quantitative approach, utilising online surveys distributed to top Indonesian property development company employees. The analysis unequivocally confirms that GHRM practices significantly enhance employee well-being and job satisfaction, with employee well-being serving as a mediator that amplifies the positive effect of GHRM on job satisfaction. The findings underscore the pivotal role of comprehensive GHRM strategies in fostering a supportive and sustainable work environment, thereby contributing to overall organisational success. This study enriches the literature on sustainable human resource management, underscoring the imperative for companies to implement GHRM practices to bolster employee well-being and job satisfaction, and convincing the audience of the commitment needed for this transformative process.

Abstract

The vulnerability of homeowners is a significant factor in various criminal activities, such as forgetting to lock doors or leaving the house with lights off. Therefore, it is necessary to design a digital home that allows homeowners to control their homes remotely. This research aims to build and enhance a smart home, which has been previously studied. Through this development, the smart home transforms into a digital home by adding several features. The features include Home Door Security, Home Temperature Monitoring, and Home Appliance Control via SMS. The digital home is expected to be beneficial in preventing crimes and addressing negligence-related incidents. By providing access codes to unlock doors, it helps prevent unauthorized entry, enhancing home security. Additionally, it addresses safety concerns related to negligence, such as electrical short circuits or gas leaks that may lead to fires. The digital home can provide immediate assistance by reacting to abnormal temperatures detected by sensors, activating fans to normalize the temperature. If the temperature remains above the specified limit, a danger alarm will sound, indicating an issue inside the house. Another function is the ability to control home appliances remotely via text messages (SMS) when the homeowner is away.

Abstract

In general, fishkeeping has been a widely cherished activity among communities since ancient times, owing to its ease of maintenance and care, which encourages many individuals to engage in it. However, due to busy schedules or unforeseen circumstances, checking the water conditions in aquariums often poses a challenge. Therefore, there is a need for a tool capable of automatically controlling and draining aquarium water based on IoT technology using the C4.5 algorithm on the Blynk platform. This system can drain water if the aquarium water becomes cloudy, raise the temperature if it drops below optimal levels, and limit water filling. The ESP8266 and ESP32-S modules are utilized to receive, process, and transmit data to the aquarium owner via Wi-Fi. Relays serve as electrical power distributors for supporting components such as water pumps, water heaters, and solenoid valves. Testing results indicate that the water condition control component effectively operates in line with the system's functions and objectives. The existence of this tool can assist fishkeepers in maintaining real-time aquarium water quality, detecting water pollution, and monitoring the health of fish within the aquarium.

Abstract

Effective livestock health monitoring is one of the primary challenges in modern farming, especially in detecting early health disorders in sheep. This research aims to develop a sheep health monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the C4.5 algorithm and the ThingSpeak platform. The system collects vital sheep data such as body temperature, heart rate, sound, and physical activity in real time through sensors and microphones connected to IoT devices. The data is then transmitted to the ThingSpeak platform for analysis and storage. The C4.5 algorithm is used to build a decision model capable of classifying the health conditions of sheep based on collected parameters such as temperature, heart rate, and respiration. The processed data results are displayed in the form of graphs and warning notifications on the ThingSpeak platform, allowing farmers to monitor livestock health easily and responsively. The accuracy test yielded a 90% accuracy rate using a confusion matrix with a data sampling split of 80% for training data and 20% for testing data. This indicates that the system has a high level of accuracy in detecting sheep health conditions. Consequently, the system has the potential to assist farmers in improving the efficiency of livestock health monitoring automatically and in real time. Moreover, the application of IoT technology and the C4.5 algorithm in the livestock sector is expected to provide innovative solutions to support productivity and animal welfare.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a web-based classification system for determining the eligibility of recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH), by comparing two data mining algorithms: C4.5 and Naïve Bayes. The dataset used includes various attributes relevant to eligibility assessment for social assistance. The C4.5 algorithm is employed to generate an interpretable decision tree, while the Naïve Bayes algorithm is used for probabilistic classification. The results show that Naïve Bayes achieved the highest accuracy at 98%, excelling in processing large datasets more efficiently. Meanwhile, C4.5 achieved an accuracy of 93.33% and offered better interpretability through its decision tree visualization. Both algorithms proved effective in classifying PKH eligibility and can be implemented in social assistance information systems to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the beneficiary selection process. This research concludes that the choice of algorithm should be based on system priorities—whether the focus is on processing speed or result interpretability.

Abstract

Air pollution remains a major environmental issue, with NH?, CO, and CO? among the most harmful gases produced by transportation, industry, and agriculture. Increased concentrations of these gases can threaten human health and ecosystems. This research aims to design a monitoring device to detect CO and CO? levels in the atmosphere using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. A prototype system was developed with an ESP8266 microcontroller, Gas sensor for gas detection, DHT22 sensor for temperature and humidity, and Fire sensor for fire detection. The collected data are processed using the C4.5 algorithm to classify air quality into five categories: good, moderate, unhealthy, very unhealthy, and hazardous. Results are displayed through the Blynk platform, allowing real-time monitoring and easy access for the public. The case study was conducted around the Samator plant in Subang, where the system demonstrated the ability to provide timely and accurate information on air conditions. This IoT-based solution is expected to improve community awareness of air pollution risks and serve as an initial step toward environmental monitoring and control
