Abstract

Abstract: Human resources are one of the most fundamental parts in the development and renewal of a nation. The qualification of human resources will determine whether or not the goals of an institution or institution are achieved. The quality of human resources needs to be developed in order to be able to face competitive social transformations. This article aims to explain the concept of human resources, identification of the value of human resources and human resource development efforts. This article is a library research whose main source is literature on human resources, human resource development strategies and development and reform. Broadly speaking, it can be concluded that strategies are needed in developing human resources so that the quality can be transformed into a more up to date direction. One aspect that can support the process of developing human resources is the aspect of education. Keywords: human resources, development strategy, institutions. Abstrak: Sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu bagian yang sangat fundamental dalam pembangunan dan pembaharuan suatu bangsa. Kualifikasi sumber daya manusia sangat menentukan tercapai atau tidaknya tujuan suatu institusi ataupun lembaga. Kualitas sumber daya manusia tersebut perlu untuk dikembangkan, supaya mampu menghadapi transformasi sosial yang kompetitif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang konsep sumber daya manusia, identifikasi nilai sumber daya manusia dan upaya pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian pustaka yang sumber utamanya adalah literature tentang sumber daya manusia, strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia serta pembangunan dan pembahuaruan. Secara garis besar dapat disimpulkan bahwa sangat diperlukan strategi-strategi dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia agar kualitasnya mampu bertransformasi ke arah yang lebih up to date. Salah satu aspek yang dapat menunjang proses pengembangan sumber daya manusia adalah aspek pendidikan. Kata-kata kunci: sumber daya manusia, strategi pengembangan, institusi.

Abstract

This research presents the management system of Islamic boarding schools in increasing competitiveness in Jambi province. This research, which uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation techniques, was conducted at Pondok Karya Pembangunan Al-Hidayah Jambi, Pondok Pesantren Sheikh Maulana Qori Bangko, and Pondok Pesantren Zulhijjah in Muara Bulian. The results of this study that the Islamic Boarding School Management System in increasing competitiveness (1) The Sheikh Maulana Qori Bangko Islamic Boarding School conducts first, the formation of a good Islamic boarding school organizational structure Second, the formation of a working meeting at the beginning of the year. The working meeting is directly led by the Kiai of the boarding school. Third, the plenary meeting discusses the determination of the work procedures of the board of students, establishing a work program. Fourth, planning the realization of the boarding school management system program (2) Karya Pembangunan Al-Hidayah Jambi boarding school, namely conducting stage I organizational decision objectives, Stage II formulating the current situation, Stage III identifying facilities and obstacles and Stage IV developing a series of activities (3) Pesantren Zul Hijjah Muaro Bulian formed a pesantren academic development team. Then the team analyzed the pesantren. The team then held a meeting to determine efforts to increase the potential and efforts to improve the boarding school

Abstract

Berpikir sistematis adalah pendekatan ilmiah untuk mempelajari masalah. Pendekatan ini membutuhkan studi tentang hubungan yang relevan, saling melengkapi, dan dapat diandalkan. Gagasan ini disebut Teori Sistem Umum (GST), sebagai doktrin interdisipliner yang mengeksplorasi prinsip dan model yang diterapkan pada sistem secara umum, dengan mempertimbangkan jenis dan ukuran elemen tertentu serta kekuatan geraknya. Ada 4 faktor yang mempengaruhi pemikiran sistem, yaitu pertama, motivasi rendah akan mengalihkan perhatian, sedangkan motivasi tinggi akan membatasi fleksibilitas; kedua, keyakinan dan sikap yang salah dapat menyesatkan kita; ketiga, kebiasaan. Kecenderungan untuk mempertahankan pola pikir tertentu atau melihat masalah hanya dari satu sisi, atau keyakinan yang berlebihan dan tidak kritis terhadap pendapat pihak berwenang menghalangi pemecahan masalah yang efisien. Hal ini menimbulkan pemikiran yang kaku (rigid mental set), kebalikan dari berpikir fleksibel (flexible mental set). Keempat, Emosi. dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi, tanpa sadar kita terlibat secara emosional.

Abstract

The competition in Indonesia’s higher education sector is intensifying, particularly between State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) and Public Universities (PTU). To remain competitive, institutions like IAIN Kerinci must implement effective marketing strategies. This study examines the application of the 7Ps marketing mix at IAIN Kerinci to enhance its institutional competitiveness. This research employed a qualitative library research method, using the 2021 IAIN Kerinci Self-Evaluation Report (LED) as the primary data source. The analysis was conducted using the 7Ps marketing framework—product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence—and was complemented by a SWOT analysis to assess implementation effectiveness. Additionally, interviews with selected respondents were conducted to enrich the findings. IAIN Kerinci has implemented a well-rounded marketing strategy. Key initiatives include diversification of academic programs, soft skill development, and provision of career and counseling services. Tuition is aligned with perceived value, and the campus’s strategic location enhances accessibility. Continuous professional development for faculty and staff ensures high competence. Service delivery is structured and supported by adequate physical infrastructure. Promotional efforts involve partnerships with local schools, public engagement, and digital outreach through social media. The application of the 7Ps strategy has significantly improved educational service quality and institutional appeal. Continued refinement and adaptation of this strategy are recommended to address evolving challenges in the higher education landscape.
