Abstract

Minangkabau and Mandailing are two different ethnicities. Minangkabau ethnicity has a modernist dominant Muslim and has a matrilineal tradition. While the Mandailing ethnic group has a conservative dominant Islam and has a patrilinear tradition. Of the two ethnic groups, two large organizations were born on the island of Sumatra, namely Muhammadiyah from the Minangkabau ethnic group identified with Pemuda and Al-Washliyah from the Mandailing ethnic group identified with Kaum Tua, both of which had major influences in education, culture and health and politics. . In this case, it is necessary to see how history, ideology, and charitable endeavours from these two large organizations influence change at the local and national scale. Minangkabau dan Mandailing adalah dua etnis yang berbeda. Etnis Minangkabau memiliki pemeluk Islam yang dominan modernis serta memiliki tradisi matrilinear. Sedangkan etnis Mandailing memiliki pemeluk Islam yang dominan konservatif serta memiliki tradisi patrilinear. Dari dua etnis ini terlahir dua oragnisasi besar di pulau Sumatera, yakni Muhammadiyah dari etnis Minangkabau yang diidentikkan dengan Kaum Muda dan Al-Washliyah dari etnis Mandailing yang diidentikkan dengan Kaum Tua, yang keduanya memiliki pengaruh besar baik di bidang pendidikan, kebudayaan maupun bidang kesehatan dan politik. Terkait dengan hal ini kiranya perlu melihat bagaimana sejarah, ideologi dan amal usaha dari dua organisasi besar ini yang mempengaruhi perubahan pada skala lokal maupun Nasional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in teacher teaching performance in terms of institutional accreditation rankings, with a focus on the factors that influence it. This research was carried out at MAN 1 and MAN 2 Sungai Penuh. This research uses quantitative research methods based on comparative studies. The sample in this study amounted to 85 people (45 teachers MAN 1 and 30 teachers MAN 2) taken from the total population (all teachers MAN 1 and 2 Sungai Penuh) of 123 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation studies. Questionnaires to measure differences in teacher teaching performance, and documentation to gain insight into teacher institutions and performance so far. Hypothesis testing and significance level using the independent comparison formula t-test for two-way test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the teaching performance of teachers at MAN 1 Sungai Penuh and MAN 2 Sungai Penuh. This can be seen from the results of the t-test calculation results t count 2.771 while t table 1.993. The results also show that the institution's accreditation ranking has a linearity impact on improving teacher performance, the accreditation ranking will increase based on good teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Independence on Learning Outcomes in online learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research applies explanatory survey method. The object of this research is the State Islamic Institute (IAIN Kerinci). The sample in this study was all 6th semester Islamic Education Management Students, totaling 65 people. The results of the study showed that there was a correlation between independent learning and learning outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic with a moderate correlation. As for the level analysis for the variable of learning independence during the Covid 19 pandemic with the dimension of self-confidence being at a moderate level, the dimension of self-learning being at a moderate level, the dimension of mastering expertise in the field is at a moderate level, the dimension of respecting time is at a high level, and the dimension of respecting time is at a high level. responsibility is at the moderate level. Meanwhile, the level analysis for the learning outcome variables on the affective dimension is at a high level, the psychomotor dimension is at a moderate level and cognitive is also at a moderate level.

Abstract

This article discusses efforts and strategies for developing Islamic studies in Islamic boarding schools that have gender insight. Previous studies on gender and Islamic boarding schools focused more on the socio-cultural dimensions of gender, power relations, women's empowerment, the image of women in the yellow book, figures and agencies. However, there are several studies that have tried to examine efforts to develop gender-based pesantren education at the formal institutional level. Very few have analyzed efforts to develop gender-based Islamic studies in the world of pesantren. This is more due to the difficulty in accepting some pesantren caregivers of the concept of gender equality, which according to them does not come from an Islamic scientific body. Using the integration-interconnection approach developed by Amin Abdullah and Jasser Auda, this paper explains that the development of Islamic studies in pesantren is urgently carried out by utilizing relevant concepts from other sciences such as cultural, social, economic, psychological and so on. Through the so-called scientific interconnections, new Islamic gender insights can be developed and understood more holistically and contextually in the academic environment of the pesantren.

Abstract

Daerah terpencil diartikan sebagai suatu daerah yang sulit dijangkau oleh transportasi, mempunyai kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan fisik yang kurang berkembang dibandingkan dengan daerah lain yang berdekatan. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi guru profesional untuk mengajar di bidang ini. Guru merupakan penentu utama keberhasilan belajar siswa. Memahami pembelajaran tergantung bagaimana guru menjelaskan. Penelitian bertujuan: 1) mengetahui apa yang dimaksud dengan profesionalisme guru, 2) upaya apa yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru, 3) hambatan peningkatan keterampilan guru di SDN 209/III Masgo Jaya Kecamatan Gunung Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode field research. Lokasi penelitian di SDN 209/III Masgo Jaya Kecamatan Gunung Raya. metode pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan metode yang berbeda yaitu metode observasi, metode wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) profesionalisme guru di SDN 209/III Masgo Jaya kurang baik, terlihat guru di sana kurang memahami keterampilan dan kemampuan guru, sehingga ketika guru melakukan proses belajarnya, Hal ini akan membuat siswa bosan dan tidak efektif dalam proses pembelajaran; 2) upaya yang dilakukan meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SDN 209/III Masgo Jaya yakni  membaca buku-buku pendidikan untuk memperluas pengetahuan dalam memberikan pendidikan; 3) kendala pengembangan profesi guru di SDN 209/III Masgo Jaya adalah akses menuju sekolah sangat sulit, jalan yang ditempuh merupakan jalan yang bebatuan besar sehingga proses pengembangan profesional guru juga akan terhambat. Fasilitas dan sumber daya yang tidak memadai.

Abstract

From a long time ago, Indonesia seemed to be full of criminal and immoral cases. Outbreaks of crime seem more rampant than the Covid-19 virus itself. The Indonesian people constantly get news that hurts moral values. The proof, based on a report by Komnas Perempuan in 2021, stated that as many as 2500 acts of violence befell women. Even until the end of this year, immoral acts continued to emerge. On December 2, 2021, we were shocked by the news that a girl committed suicide (NW) because her partner did not want to be responsible for her pregnancy. Then, five days ago, on December 6, 2021, we were again shocked by the news of sexual violence where, a mother who had just given birth was raped by 4 people in front of her children, even the perpetrator killed the victim's newborn child. However, what is even sadder than immorality is when someone commits munkar under the pretext of being consensual. For example, the phenomenon of FWB (Friend with Benefit) where a person is free to have sex as long as there is no coercion even though there is no marriage bond. FWB is usually done by young people. If this phenomenon continues, it can lead to the destruction of the next generation. This phenomenon usually occurs due to the influence of the social environment and even the closest family through efforts to strengthen Islamic values for children. Therefore, Islamic Parenting needs to be re-actualized in order to reduce moral decadence.

Abstract

Islamic Religious College (PTKI) is a preventive medium in realizing a religious moderation program in which this program is presently carrying an inclusive mission to eradicate the chain of extremism in various lines of religious life. The mainstreaming of religious moderation continues to develop, as evidenced by the incessant movement of universities to implement it. Likewise, IAIN Kerinci, a campus with Islamic nuances in Jambi Province, has also become a pioneer of religious moderation. Various activities that carry the spirit of religious moderation that are often carried out in the Islamic Religious Education department at IAIN Kerinci are a form of real contribution that has been carried out. This study aims to see how far the PAI majors of IAIN Kerinci are in implementing religious moderation programs in the academic community. For this reason, in finding answers, researchers use the field research method, namely field research, to obtain data and information. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the PAI department initiated a religious moderation program that started from the literacy ground and then began to touch on various academic activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah; (2) hambatan yang dihadapi oleh kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinannya; (3) upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam menyelesaikan hambatan dalam kepemimpinannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 209/III Masgo Jaya Kecamatan Gunung Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis, adapun proses pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu motode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara guna melengkapi data penelitian.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat dua gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah yaitu gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan gaya kepemimpinan situasional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kepala sekolah yang melibatkan bawahan dalam pengambilan keputusan, kepemimpinan yang berpusat dari kontribusi bawahan, pemimpin juga meminta saran dan pendapat kepada bawahan, pemimpin yang sangat percaya kepada bawahan dalam pengambilan keputusan, serta pemimpin yang mempunyai kemampuan berkomunikasi dua arah. Dengan begitu diharapkan  kepala sekolah dapat memimpin sekolah dengan lebih baik lagi. Dengan begitu diharapkan bagi kepala sekolah untuk menjaga hubungan komunikasi yang baik dengan warga sekolah terutama guru sebab guru sangat berperan penting dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah.

Abstract

The success or failure of a lesson, especially in Islamic religious education which focuses on character education is largely determined by the learning media used, in realizing this success a problem arises, namely the teacher is still monotonous in using learning media so that learning cannot be properly accepted by students. This is based on the results of a survey by researchers via Google form that 80% of students stated that educators tended to use the lecture system more in the learning process, 70% of students could not understand the subject matter only with notes given by the teacher, 95% preferred to learn using learning media, 97% of students agree to use multimedia so that learning is not boring. As well as the lack of development of learning media for the blind. During the Covid-19 pandemic, students tended to be closer to the digital world, this was based on survey data that 99% of students actively used social media during the pandemic, especially social media Tiktok, namely around 78% of students used Tiktok longer. Even Tiktok social media users have increased by around 14.3 million per month. Seeing these problems, the researchers created a new innovation Smart Module, an innovation of technology-based character education learning media, namely technology that can combine the virtual world with the real world at the same time and is equipped with braille letters that are used for normal students and people with visual impairments. This research uses the type of R&D with the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, literature studies, documentation and trials and then analyzed using media expert validation analysis techniques, material expert validation analysis techniques and trial analysis techniques. The specific purpose of making this media is to find out whether the Smart Module is valid to use and how student learning outcomes are after using this module. The results of this study show that the Smart Module has a validity level of 92% and can improve student learning outcomes.
