Abstract

Cendana (Santalum album L.) is an indigenous species of east nusa tenggara (Nusa TenggaraTimor/NTT) which has high economies value. The existency of this species in nature hasalmost extinct due to uncontrolled exploitation. It needs conservation and developmentefforts. The efforts needs data of land suitability endorsement to support the success ofplantation. This research was aimed to set land suitability digital map for cultivatingcendana as guidance in making plan cendana plantation in Alor Regency. The researchused land suitability analysis method  by field survey. Purposive sample was determinedbased on land variation by land cover and type of soil. The result showed the large of landsuitability 2 is the largest with 126.810,73 Ha, followed by land suitability 1 with 58.893,2Ha large of area, then land suitability 4 with 20.011,41 Ha, and land suitability 3 with5.664,58 Ha large of area.

Abstract

Research aims to develop a web-based Newspaper Information System for the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of East Kalimantan using PHP and MySQL. The system is designed to expedite the distribution of information to DPRD employees, enabling them to access the newspaper quickly and efficiently. The use of PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system is intended to create a stable, secure, and easily accessible platform. The system development methodology involves needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Key functionalities of the system include news search and categorization, real-time access, and user interaction convenience. With the implementation of this web-based Newspaper Information System, it is anticipated to enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and information accessibility within the environment of the DPRD of East Kalimantan. Preliminary evaluation results indicate that the system has the potential to provide significant benefits in supporting information needs within the DPRD.

Abstract

This study utilizes the AHP-TOPSIS method to determine the best graduating students in the nursing program. Evaluation criteria include GPA, duration of study, achievements, and final projects. The results indicate that GPA and achievements significantly influence the assessment of graduates. The use of the AHP-TOPSIS method demonstrates consistency, yet it's important to note that similar results don't always guarantee equivalence between the two methods. This study confirms the reliability of the method in evaluation, however, suggestions for future research include expanding the sample size and considering additional factors to enhance validity and reliability.
