Abstract

To win emulation, Health Centre have to be able give satisfaction to all client. A Health Centre successful, the client is a goal and capital which must be defended by its existence. The Quality of Health Services more related at officer comments dimension in fulfilling requirement of patient. The Aim of research is to know describe the patient satisfaction to health services at Health Centre in Padang Regency in 2006. Design of research is qualitative descriptive. Population in this research is the client who come to health centre in Padang Regency, with the amount of sample is 400 people. Primary data in collecting by direct interview to responder by use questioner instrument, Secondary data taking away from Health Centre and Health Office in Padang. Analysis data done with univariat analysis, Importance and Performance analysis and it’s processing by manual and computerize. The result of research found that most responder express important to give service, attribute found on priority kwadran A is health officer quickly listen carefully, action quickly at the time of client require, officer quickly listen carefully to sign of client, polite and friendly officer service and officer give special attention. to client. Importance Performance between Priority and satisfaction around 76,84% - 83,96%, Where attribute owning storey 80% have been told to satisfy, while attribute which is storey more than 80% expressed by less satisfied where the attribute is timely service schedule, officer health quickly listen carefully in handling sigh of client, action quickly at the time of client require, officer quickly listen carefully to sigh of client, polite and friendly officer service and officer give special attention to client.For that have to be more pay attention things lionized by responder, have to be more improve employees discipline to on schedule in fulfilling health service, and room freshment, and also look after equipment, readiness and hygiene of appliance in giving health service.

Abstract

Sampah yang ditimbulkan dari rumah tangga berdasarkan penelitian yang pernah saya lakukan di Kota Padang berdasarkan SNI diperoleh bahwa timbulan sampah perorang/hari adalah 0,49 kg/hari, atau 2,4 l/orang/hari, dan sampah oraganik mencapai 96%. Kasus sampah dan banjir yang setiap saat dapat terjadi kembali, kemudian baru dipikirkan oleh setiap orang, seharusnya masalah tersebut kita hadapi dan bagaimana persoalan ini dapat kita pecahkan bersama merupakan suatu kesadaran baru di masyarakat untuk ikut serta memecahkannya. Hal ini adalah suatu langkah positif, inilah yang harus segera direspon untuk menyusun upaya konkrit dalam mengatasinya, salah satu upaya konkrit yang dapat dikembangkan pada setiap kelurahan.

Abstract

There are still some household throw away garbage in promiscuoulsy place and not yet all garbage managed better by Padang government. The goal of this research for arise, composition and characteristics analysis garbage domestic in Padang City. The result of research for arise of garbage from domestic its avarage 2,26 l/p/days. The composition of garbage domestic consist of organic garbage 94,24% and anorganic garbage 5,75 %. For Physics cover to specific gravity (0,15 kg/l), size measure 250 mm (54,86%). For chemical to cover dampness (32%), volatil rate (58%), dusty rate (10%), C/N ratio (27,30) and enery content 7422 Btu/lb. For biology of size measure wearedby crowded fly of garbage during six hour obtained density of fly 7/ grill fly. For the planning of management of ideal garbage in Padang city, dissociating garbage start from home doorstep, need the existence of socialization in making of compost, and also management with sanitary landfill system or incenerator also still represent good enough alternative.

Abstract

Background: Area free from tobacco (AFT) policy is the onlyeffective and inexpensive way to protect the public from thedangers of second hand smoke. In West Sumatra there arethree cities that have local regulation on this, namely Padang,Panjang Padang, and Payakumbuh, but in reality the policy hasnot been able to reduce the active smokers. This study aims todetermine the effectiveness of AFT policy in reducing smokersactive beside its effectiveness to protect the public from thedangers of second hand smoker in West Sumatera.Methods: The study was conducted with the method, a mixof quantitative and qualitative research with explanatory design.Data collection was conducted in the city of Padang, PadangPanjang and Payakumbuh. Quantitative data from 100 personswere collected using a questionnaire, while the qualitativedata was collected through in-depth interviews. Informants ineach city are representatives of Department of Health,professional organizations, community leaders, smokers andfocus group discussions. Some secondary data are obtainedthrough documents review related to the implementation ofAFT. The quantitative data is analysed using univariate analysis,and the qualitative data is analysed using content analysis.Results: Based on the quantitative data it can be seen that inthree cities in West Sumatera the smoker rate are 59%. InPadang Panjang, the regulation has been proceeded succesfulydue to the commitment of the Mayor and the legislative parlementin implementing the policies that there should not be any tobaccoadvertising as well as sanctions for smokers, especially foremployees who smoke at the office or at school, according tothe law no. 8/2009; suf ficient funds are available forsocialization and supervision AFT, a total of Rp75.000.000,00collected from tobbacco fundation and Rp24.000.000,00 fromthe budget. In Payakumbuh there is also the commitment of theMayor and the support of the Health Department according tothe Regulation of Area Free tobbacco no 15/2011. Establishmentof Supervisory Team for AFT with funds allocated forsocialization and supervision, a total amount ofRp341.278.129,00. Padang has not yet applying the AFT policyin government offices and schools, only in private sector suchas bank. Tobacco advertising still exists and there is no sanctionfor smokers despite the existing Regulation No. AFF 14/2011with accompanying funds provided Rp85.000.000,00.The study shows that the majority (60%) public opinion supportthe implementation of AFT. Some (51%) of the public say thatAFT is effective enough to reduce active smoker, over half ofrespondents thought AFT should apply to a particular location.According to 59% of respondents, smoking in public placesshould be given sanction. In Padang Panjang there is amonitoring service via SMS and phone to report breach of theregulation so that the Mayor may impose sanctions. InPayakumbuh a similar system exist through reports and spotchecks. Violaters of the regulation are given sanction by themayor. In Padang city, sanctions have not been given. Thelocal government regulation in banning advertising andpromotion of cigarettes is implemented in two cities, the city ofPadang Panjang and Payakumbuh. Some factors that affectthe implementation of AFT are dependent on the commitmentand the role of District mayor, as well as the need for communityempowerment..Conclusion: It is concluded that the AFT policy without thecommitment and support of all parties to the implementation ofAFT difficult. AFT can be effective to protect the second handsmokers and it has potential to reduce active smokers.Keywords: Effective, AFT Policy, Reducing active smokers.

Abstract

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, learning method is conducted through online learning and the number of students who use digital device is increasing. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors of DES in Informatic Engineering student of Polytechnic C. This research used cross-sectional design, was conducted in February-June 2022 on 90 respondents of Informatic Engineering of Polytechnic C students 2018-2021. The data was analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods. The result showed the highest score of DES was 102, lowest score was 5, and average score was 36.26. 54,6% of the respondents were male, 95,6% used digital device for >4 hour, 52,2% did not use glasses when using digital devices, 94,4% not doing eye rest, 76,7% used digital devices in non-ergonomic position, 70,0% used digital devices with risky viewing angle, and 83,3% used digital devices with risky vision distance. There were differences of DES between the duration of digital device usage >4 and ?4 hour (p=0.033), ergonomic and non-ergonomic position (p=0.022) and risky and non-risky angle of digital device usage (p=0.033). There were no differences of DES between gender (p=0.251), using and not using glasses (p=0.932), doing and not doing eye rest (p=0.543), and risky and non-risky vision distance (p=0.426). The position of digital device usage has the most influence on DES (B=-15.521). It is recommended for students when using digital devices to practice ergonomics position.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a major priority in the energy sector, including PT PLN. Data from the Ministry of Manpower (2024) reported 162,327 occupational accidents in Indonesia, with 91.83% involving wage workers. This study aimed to analyze hazard identification and risk assessment using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method at PT PLN UP3 Padang in 2025. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews with seven informants, field observations, and JSA document reviews. Data were analyzed using source and technique triangulation and risk relative calculations. The findings revealed three high-risk activities: pole installation/replacement, household connections, and distribution network maintenance. Extreme hazards identified include electric shock, falls from height, musculoskeletal disorders, heat stress, extreme weather, and challenging terrain. Risk control measures should include strict supervision, mandatory Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and digital technology utilization. This study recommends regular JSA evaluations, continuous OSH training, improved personal protective equipment availability, and real-time hazard reporting systems to minimize accidents.

Abstract

Gizi kurang atau stunting masih menjadi tantangan utama bagi kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, kekurangan gizi juga berdampak terhadap kondisi kesehatan serius yang terjadi ketika tubuh tidak mendapatkan asupan makanan yang bergizi atau seimbang, Berdasarkan Survei Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2023 mencatat prevalensi gizi buruk, stunting 21,5%, mengalami penurunan selama 10 tahun terakhir, tetapi belum mencapai target nasional 14% pada tahun 2024 . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program peningkatan gizi balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Padang tahun 2025.Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada 8 informan yang di pilih secara purposive sampling yang terdiri dari Kepala Puskesmas, Pj program gizi, PJ Promosi kesehatan, Pj KIA, Kader 2 orang dan Ibu balita 2 orang. Data di kumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur, Observasi, serta dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pelaksanaan program gizi meliputi pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT), penyuluhan tentang gizi seimbang dan pemantauan status gizi balita akan tetapi program tersebut masih belum berjalan dengan maksimal,untuk tenaga pelaksana masih belum mencukupi, dan dana masih kurang dalam melakukan penyuluhan dan untuk monitoring dan evaluasi masih belum berjalan dengan lancar karena untuk monitoring dan evaluasi ke masyarakat tidak di lakukan hanya di Puskesmas saja yaitu dengan melakukan PKP Penilaian Kinerja Puskesmas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan perlunya peningkatan status gizi balita untuk meningkatkan tumbuh kembang balita.
