Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of relaxation techniques Front Effleurage in reducing pain level of dysmenorrheal. The research design was quasi experimental with pre-post test control group design. The number of sample was 42 and selected by Simple Random Sampling method. The samples were divided into two groups each group of 21 respondents for treatment and control groups. Data were analyzed by paired and independent t-test. The result showed that there was significant difference of pain level between treatment and the control groups with p=0.000 lower than α = 0.005. In conclusion, it can be drawn that Front effleurage method can reduce pain intensity of dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

HIV is transmitted to health-care workers in providing care to patients, especially when the rules of universal precautions and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is not implemented. To protect ourself from health problems caused by the HIV is by using PPE (Personal Protection Equipment). Data HIV / AIDS patients in hospitals in 2011 there were 35 patients Rod, in 2012 there were 33, in 2013 there were 17 (until April) . This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design using interviews and questionnaires. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors that influence the behavior of health workers in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent HIV infection. The sample of this research was 200 health workers in the Batang Public Hospital, whereas the saturated sampling technique was used in this research. Results shows that 104 (52.0%) of respondents were well behaved on the use of PPE. The related factors are knowledge, attitudes and support of influential friend. Friends-factor had OR = 13.6. Suggestions are made for health care workers in order to provide mutual support to others in the use of PPE.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to evaluate the levels of knowledge and self care in mothers with the primipara post partum in Purwokerto before and after intervention both control and experimental group. Quasi-experimental two group design was applied in the study. Forty eight mothers with primipara post partum were recruited from Prof. dr. Margono Soekarjo hospital and maternal clinic in Purwokerto. Data analysis in the study included correlation, paird t-test, and independent t-test. The findings of the study show that the levels of knowledge and self care in mothers with primipara post partum were significantly different between control and experimental group as well as before and after intervention in experimental group (p less than 0.001).FCMC: discharge planning and home care could enhance the level of knowledge and self care in mothers with primipara post partum.

Abstract

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are commonly called diseases that are transmitted through sexual intercourse. In Batang, the number of STD cases was 608 in 2010 and increased to be 1,296 in 2011. Most teenagers do not have accurate knowledge about reproductive health and sexuality. In addition, they have limited access to reproductive health information and services. Sources of this information are only from friends and/ or media, in which the information is usually inaccurate. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education by peers to increase knowledge and change attitudes of adolescents in high school I Subah Batang. This research was quantitative, pre experimental design with One Group Pretest-Posttest. The population was young men and women class X and XI. The sample was 90 people, accounting for 15% of the population. This sample was divided into a group of 30 men and a group of 60 women. The results indicated that after providing health education by peers, 29 of male respondents (96.7%) and 60 of female respondents (100%) had a good level of knowledge. In addition, 21 of male respondents (70%) and 54 of female respondents (90%) had positive attitudes. Results of Wilcoxon Test Match Pair with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05%) revealed differences in the level of knowledge of young men and women in class X and XI before and after given health education on sexually transmitted diseases (PMS) (ρ value = 0.001), and differences in the attitudes of young men and women in class X and XI before and after given the health education about sexually transmitted diseases (PMS). Health workers and high school educational institution I Subah were advised to further improve health education and provide counseling on sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) to train peers for distributing health education in order for people, especially adolescents of reproductive age to be able to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.

Abstract

Sex education is better given by parents, rather than the child got it from own opinion or delusion. It means the parent should provide extra time to pay attention for their teen ager especially the sexual behavior. Objctive of this study to know the correlation of parents parenting with teenage attitude of premarital sex in MAN I Purwokerto Banyumas. This research design was correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all of the grade X–XI students in MAN I Purwokerto as much as 769. The amount of sample in this study were 50 respondents. The research instrument used the questioner. The data analysis used deskriptif and chi-square test. The majority parenting was applied by the parents was 40% democratic parenting, and the majority teenage attitude about premarital sex was 72% nonpermissive. There was a correlation between parents parenting with teenage attitudes about premarital sex (ρ=0,001).

Abstract

Permenkes 148/Menkes/Per/I/2010 Number of Permits and Enforcement Practice Nurse with all applicable provisions have been published. The reality show is still a lot of medical acts performed by nurses. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the level of knowledge and attitude of nursing students Prodi Pekalongan on the implementation of the rules and practices of nurse registration, rights, duties and authority of nurses. This research method is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post test. The student population was nursing Pekalongan Prodi, as many as 80 students and as many as the population of samples taken. Analysis of the data using the Sign-rank test (Wilcoxon test) with significance ρ 0.05. Wilcoxon statistics obtained from the difference of knowledge (ρ = 0.000), attitude (ρ = 0.000) after the implementation of Regulation Regitrasi socialization Practice Nurses, Rights, Duties, Powers Nurse.
