Abstract

When the veil and hijjab in one hemisphere to the other hemisphere has been revealed, then every religion and ideology appear transparent on the one stage of civilization. This pluralism sometimes not capable of biting but rarely have to compete. Then the concept of what Islam has to offer in creating community harmony pluralism to remain living in harmony and work together to build civilization. Perhaps now is the time to look back, to medieval times, when convivencia form and become the model of Islamic pluralism

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang konflik sosial yang terjadi di tengah-tengah masyarakat akibat ibadah-ibadah sunnah. Konflik sosial ini sudah terjadi semenjak lama, dalam bahasa agama dikenal istilah  khilafiyah. Konflik antar masyarakat Islam tentang masalah ibadah sudah pernahterjadi pada masa Rasulullah Saw. Namun  pertikan  yang terjadi dapat ditanyakan langsung kepada Rasulullah Saw, dengan demikian masalahnya selesai. Akan tetapi  setelah Rasulullah wafat. Pertikan tersebut berlanjut pada masa khulafaurrosidin dan  pada masa tabi’ tabi’in kemudian  sampai pada masa imam-imam mazhab. Bahkan berlanjut sampai saat ini dan bahkan dimungkinkan sampai akhir zaman. Adapun masalah perselisihkan dikalangan sebahagian  masyarakat islam adalah, masalah membaca basmalah  pada awal surah al-fatihah dalam Sholat. Masalah Qunut  pada sholat Subuh,  Zikir setelah sholat  fardhu, dilakukan secara  berjama’ah atau secara individu, berdo’a  secara berjamaah atau  individu setelah Shalat Fardhu dan membaca yasin di rumah orang meninggal. Masalah yang ibdah Wajib boleh dikatakan  mereka sepakat atau  tidak bertentangan, karena ada petujuk  yang jelas menurut mereka. Kemudian yang diperselisihkan masalah sunah yang sifatnya furu’iyah.

Abstract

Kelompok minoritas di Indonesia sering kali kehilangan hak-haknya sebagai warga negara bukan diakibatkan oleh perlakuan mayoritas semata, melainkan juga kerap dilakukan oleh negara. Hak kaum minoritas yang acap kali tidak bisa dipenuhi di negeri ini adalah hak untuk bebas beragama dan berkeyakinan serta kebebasan menjalankan ibadah sesuai dengan agama dan keyakinan tersebut. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam upaya untuk memahami realitas perbedaan dalam beragama, lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam diharapkan bisa menanamkan kepedulian komunitas agama lain dengan saling bekerjasama dan membangun dialog melalui pendidikan multi kultural. Kesadaran multikulturalisme bukan sekadar memahami keberbedaan, namun juga harus ditunjukkan dengan sikap konkrit bahwa sekalipun berbeda keyakinan, namun sama-sama sebagai manusia yang mesti diperlakukan secara manusiawi. Pendekatan dialogis yang mengarah pada budaya saling toleransi,  membuang kebencian dan permusuhan, kemampuan untuk   saling  mendengar, sikap akomodatif, dan saling tukar informasi untuk mencapai kesepahaman bersama. Pendekatan yang ditawarkan oleh Waleed el-Ansary dan Mashood Baderin cukup memberikan solusi bagi konflik antar umat beragama yang diakibatkan oleh kedangkalan dan kesenjanagan pemahaman dalam memahami ajaran agama masing-masing.

Abstract

Egypt and India are the two centers of world civilization that gave birth to philosophical thought and tamaddun. These two areas have ecperienced ups and downs and ups and downs, both when standing alone or when colonized by foreign nations. Such conditions would have different impacts, both positive and negative. Negative aspects of giving birthor in children’s mental colony complex lander. While the positive aspects of growing patriotic souls among his people. It is natural that these two regions spemd a lot of great characters, among them Muhammad ‘Abduh and Ahmad Khan. Both these figures are considered a corner stone for the renewal of Islam in their respective continents. There are similarities but also many differences in principle between the two thoughts. Event intellectuals often assume both the Muslims and the west are at a parallel. Is it true? So this study tries to analyze the two men thought of the aspects of similarities and differences to answer all the doubts and confusion that ever existed.

Abstract

Mankind needs to study the creation of the universe because it will deliver them the proof, existence and omnipotence of Allah. Allah created the universe as a sign of His love for mankind. He created the universe for the benefit of mankind so that they could easily understand and learn everything in the world. Throughout history, many Muslim philosophers have explained the creation of the universe on their own respective views. One of them is Al-Ghazali through his works of Tahafut Al-Falasifah, Al-Munqidh min Al-Dhalal, Ihya Ulumiddin and Al-Hikmah fi Makhluqatillah. Al-Ghazali systematically formulated the universe based on the Qur'an and Hadith. He mastered various disciplines such as Islamic theology, philosophy and Sufi. He is also known as the consolidator of these three sciences. This is what makes Al-Ghazali a highly acclaimed figure. His acclaimed figure encouraged the author to discuss his concept of qadim and baharu of the universe and the critics of these concepts by other Muslim philosophers. The method used in this research is the literature review with primary and secondary data. These data were classified and analysed carefully before concluded to get the answers to problems. The results show that according to Al-Ghazali, the world must not be qadim. This means that Allah always exists, whereas the world has not. Allah then created the world and the world exists alongside Allah. In other words, Allah, as the creator, is qadim, while the world as the creature is baharu. Allah and the world are very different from their function and position yet some Muslim philosophers claim that Allah and the world are the same, both of which are qadim
