Abstract

Increased cassava demand was not followed by an increase in farmer income. To cover the expenditures of households, farmers work in non-agricultural activities. The objective of this research is to analyze the level of household income and contribution of cassava farming to the total income of farm household. The research was conducted in Purabaya Village, Purabaya sub-district, Sukabumi district, conducted from April until June 2013. The location was chosen purposively by Simple Random Sampling of 36 farmers sample. Conclusion The average household income of peani is Rp. 5,721,639 per year or Rp. 476,800 per month. Cassava business income contribution of 59 percent, from non-cassava farming by 9 percent and outside farming ie trade and services 32 percent of total household income Rp 40,553,344, -

Abstract

PT. Java Suisan Indah is an agribusiness company engaged in eel farming where the products are purposed to export market.  The company is still facing difficulties in fulfilling the quality stock of eel raw materials, due to high mortality in the cultivation stage and availability of eel seeds as well. The goals  of this study are (i) to identifies internal and external factors that influence the business development system of PT. JSI and, (ii) to formulating the alternative strategies in order to prioritize business development that can be applied at PT. JSI. The sampling method  uses a purposive sampling technique where respondents act as expert adjustments. The results of this study are concluded; (i) PT JSI must maintain prices and improve the quality of eel processed products by prioritizing distinctive flavors accompanied by diverse product variants to increase international consumer loyalty to PT JSI's products. This strategy based on QSPM analysis obtained a STAS value of 6.862 ; (ii) intensifying and promoting processed eel products through social media for the domestic market to expand sales and be widely known to the public. This strategy based on QSPM analysis obtained a STAS value of 6.514. And (iii) applied a plasma core-core partnership model between PT JSI as the core and eel farmers as plasma. This partnership process is carried out to meet and increase the need for a stock of raw materials to produce eel forceps. This strategy based on QSPM analysis obtained a STAS value of 6.426.

Abstract

Pulau Lancang merupakan salah satu pulau yang terletak di perairan Kepulauan Seribu DKI Jakarta, yang terdapat beberapa kelompok pembudidaya ikan kerapu Cantang. Dalam kegiatan pelaksanaan dan proses  pembudidayaan ikan berpotensi menimbulkan risiko besar maupun kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sumber risiko yang ada dan menganalisis risiko tersebut serta merumuskan strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengendalikan risiko yang terjadi dan akan timbul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengamatan secara langsung ke lapangan, wawancara dan diskusi dengan pembudidaya ikan kerapu Cantang. Data kualitatif disajikan secara deskriptif yang membahas tahapan – tahapan dalam proses budidaya. Tahapan-tahapan tersebut dimulai dari pemilihan lokasi, sampai pemanenan. Setiap dianalisis risiko yang potensial terjadi lalu dipetakan risiko potensialnya dengan menggunakan diagram fishbone. Data kuantitatif diolah dengan menggunakan metode analisis Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Metode ini dalam melakukan penilaian tiap  risiko yang terjadi. Hasil penilaian fuzzy FMEA ditemukan bahwa risiko terbesar dalam budidaya ikan kerapu Cantang adalah mudahnya ikan ataupun bibit terserang penyakit dengan Fuzzy Risk Priority Number (FRPN) sebesar 700 yang terjadi pada tahap mudahnya ikan terserang penyakit. Strategi yang diterapkan para pembudidaya ikan untuk mengendalikan risiko tersebut adalah memperhatikan pola hidup ikan dan merawat kebersihan keramba jaring apung (KJA) serta menjamin kualitas pakan yang diberikan.Kata kunci: ikan kerapu, ikan kerapu cantang, analisis risiko, fuzzy, FMEA

Abstract

This research was about broiler chicken business in PD Pasar Jaya, Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan by focussed on its market margin. The research objective was to identify marketing channels for broiler chicken, analyze the marketing margins of broiler retailers, and providing recommendation for broiler marketing channel management. The analysis method used was descriptive, marketing marjin, and marketing efficiency. There were four patterns of marketing channels and five marketing agencies. The most efficient marketing channel for broiler chickens was Channel 1 in the domestic chickens. Farmers distribute it directly to the retailers. Channel 1 had the lowest marketing marjin of IDR 16,000. The highest farmer's share value was 78%, meaning that the farmers received 78% of the price paid by the consumer. Marketing cost in the channel 1 was the smallest amounting to Rp 943. Marketing channel was efficient if the value was less than 5%, therefore channel 1 was the most efficient due to the value is the lowest at 1%. Chicken price fluctuations influenced by supply-demand which was subject to particular moments. An effective management recommendation define an effective and efficient marketing channel to set margins on the raw product so that the fair distribution of the margins between marketing channels. The fluctuation of chicken prices in breeders can be overcome by determining the period of raising chickens according to the demand data during particular moment.

Abstract

Permintaan ubikayu yang meningkat tidak diikuti dengan peningkatan pendapatan petaninya. Untuk menutupi pengeluaran rumahtangganya petani bekerja di bidang kegiatan non pertanian . Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis tingkat pendapatan rumah tangga  dan  kontribusi usahatani ubikayu terhadap total pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Purabaya Kecamatan Purabaya kabupaten Sukabumi, dilaksanakan bulan April sampai dengan Bulan Juni 2013.  Lokasi dipilih secara purposive secara Simpel Random Sampling jumlah sampel 36 petani. Kesimpulannya Rata-rata pendapatan rumah tangga peani sebesar Rp. 5.721.639 per tahun atau sebesar Rp. 476.800 per bulan.   Kontibusi Pendapatan usaha ubikayu sebesar 59 persen , dari usahatani non ubikayu sebesar 9 persen dan  di luar usahatani yaitu  dagang dan jasa  sebesar 32 persen dari total pendapatan rumah tangga Rp 40.553.344,-Kata kunci : Ubi kayu, Pendapatan usahatani, Tenaga kerja

Abstract

This research analyzes consumer behavior and its impact on the purchase decisions of ornamental plants at Taman Anggrek Ragunan, South Jakarta. The Taman Anggrek Ragunan is the largest ornamental center in Jakarta. During the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for ornamental plants at Taman Anggrek Ragunan decreased by 50%. This research aims to determine the characteristics of ornamental plant consumers and analyze consumer behavior and its impact on purchase decisions of ornamental plants at Taman Anggrek Ragunan, South Jakarta. Respondents in this research were ornamental plant consumers who made purchases at Taman Anggrek Ragunan and were selected using a non-purposive sampling technique. The data used in this research comprises primary data and secondary data. For qualitative data, we convert it using a Likert scale to be analyzed quantitatively. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regressions. The results of the research show that the factors that have a significant impact on the decision to purchase ornamental plants at Taman Anggrek Ragunan, South Jakarta, are personal factors and psychological factors, while social factors and cultural factors do not have a significant impact. Personal and cultural factors have more influence on purchasing decisions for male respondents than female respondents. The four variables influence respondents with a high school education level more than undergraduates. Meanwhile, based on income level, the influence of the variable is stronger for respondents with an IDR 4 million or less income.
