Designing information system for collecting data at PT. Serdang Hulu is done to help simplify data collection and recording data on incoming and outgoing goods at the company. PT. Serdang Hulu which is a subsidiary of PT. Sumatra Sarana Sekar Sakti or what is often referred to as Sumatra Sarana Sekar Sakti Group (SSSS Group) is a company that distributes palm oil. In carrying out their daily activities, data on goods that come in and out at PT. Serdang Hulu is still manually recorded in the book listing incoming and outgoing goods. Recording of incoming and outgoing goods that are carried out manually results in the work of collecting data taking a long time so that it is not efficient in presenting the report and is not effective at work. With the design of the Data Entry and Exit Data Collection System, recording data on incoming and outgoing goods at PT. This study aims to classify the book information contained in the Business Indonesia Polytechnic library. Book grouping is done using the K-Means Clustering method. In this K-means clustering algorithm, the variables used as input are: book id, book title, total loan and copies. The resulting output consists of 3 clusters, namely books that are borrowed most frequently, books that are borrowed frequently, and books that are rarely borrowed. With the use of the K-means clustering method, the final results of the grouping are obtained up to the 6th iteration, where the center point no longer changes and no data moves between clusters. The final results obtained consisted of: members of cluster 1 consisting of 119 book titles, cluster2 of 8 books, and cluster3 of 21 books. From the lending data, the data contained in cluster 3 is the book group with the highest loan amount among the other 2 clusters. In addition, books contained in cluster 3 have the fewest copies. From the results of this data analysis, it can be seen that the book titles contained in cluster 3 are the most recommended books to be added to the Business Indonesia Polytechnic library

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) topic is discussed in a subject in Vocational High Schools. This is certainly useful for prospective SMK graduates to reduce the risk of accidents or health problems during learning activities at school. This activity aims to educate school residents about the risk factors and dangers that can arise as a result of activities at school. This community service was carried out at the SMK Swasta Methodist Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This activity was carried out with PT. Emcotama as a partner from business/industrial sector. 30 students from SMK Swasta Methodist Tanjung Morawa were involved in this activity. The results showed that 94% -95% of activity participants agreed that the venue and facilities were pursuant to K3 standards. In addition, all participants stated that the instructor were eligible. In theory/practice session, 90.5% of participants agreed this activity met the K3 standards. 95% of the participants declared that the activity had benefits and added value for them. This activity was successful with the result that more than 89% of participants were satisfied with the criteria for materials, instructors, meals, and facilities during the activity. PKM activities is concluded to be run smoothly. This is shown from more than 90% of participants who understand the basics of K3 and its implementation practices that already meet K3 standards. The aspect that needs attention is the duration of the practicum which needs to be extended to get more optimal results.

The development of cloud computing technology that is mushrooming in the world, as well as in Indonesia, is one of the causes of revolutionary changes in trends that have made many industries / organizations / agencies / institutions / companies adopt and implement them. To face the challenges of these technological developments, the Indonesian Business Polytechnic Murni Sadar Campus Pematangsiantar City is one of the private universities engaged in the world of education ready to face these changing trends to take part in educating the nation's children. The challenge of the development of cloud computing technology is to design a system with openstack as the software platform for the cloud, the ubuntu server as the operating system uses virtualization with virtualbox in order to obtain a capable system before being implemented to a physical server in the laboratory room in order to increase the efficiency of lectures. aimed at meeting the needs for practicum activities for students at the PBI campus so that they can taste and explore cloud computing technology so that they have additional knowledge to face the revolution of industrial 5.0.

This study aims to design and implement an application for recording web-based sales reports at Kita-Kita.Net using the prototype method. By using the prototype method, the design and implementation of applications can be faster and according to what the client / user application wants. Recording of sales reports at Kita-Kita.Net which still manually makes recording errors often occur, due to these errors also have an effect on work efficiency at Kita-Kita.Net. By designing this application can minimize errors that occur in recording sales reports, as well as improve work efficiency, both time efficiency and energy efficiency at Kita-Kita.Net.

PTPN IV merupakan salah satu badan usaha milik negara yang bergerak di bidang agroindustri dan selama ini pengelolaan industri tidak terlepas dari pendidikan yang terdiri dari hardskill maupun softskill yang dimiliki oleh karyawan di dalam perusahaan tersebut. Meskipun demikian, komposisi pendidikan dan pelatihan tersebut masih sangat didominasi oleh hardskill seperti pelatihan teknis sehingga hal-hal penting lainnya seperti kepemimpinan, kemampuan bekerjasama, kemampuan berkomunikasi masih minim dalam penerapannya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan PTPN IV, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah 15 orang petugas pemadam kebakaran kelas D. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam menerapkan softskill bagi petugas pemadam kebakaran dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan pra-aktivitas seperti melakukan survei lokasi, selama kegiatan seperti pelaksanaan pre-test, pemaparan dan praktik softskill, dan pasca-kegiatan yang kemudian diakhiri dengan post-test dan refleksi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pada pemahaman serta keterampilan petugas pemadam kebakaran dalam aspek komunikasi, kerjasama, serta pemecahan masalah.

Saat ini, setiap pegawai dalam perusahaan tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai kompetensi hardskill tetapi juga dituntut untuk menguasai kompetensi softskill. PTPN-IV merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang bergerak di bidang agroindustri dan semua pegawai di PTPN-IV dituntut untuk menguasai kompetensi hardskill dan softskill. Sejauh ini, PTPN-IV telah menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi pegawainya. Namun pendidikan dan pelatihan yang diselenggarakan selama ini lebih menekankan pada peningkatan hard skill dibandingkan softskill. Oleh karena itu, perlu diselenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan yang menyeimbangkan antara hard skill dan softskill pegawai. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat diselenggarakan di Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan PTPN IV, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 12 orang pegawai yang merupakan operator motor diesel penggerak generator listrik kelas I. Pengabdian masyarakat diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi softskill pegawai dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Kegiatan ini dimulai dari pra diklat mencakup survei lokasi, pelaksanaan diklat mencakup pre-test, praktik softskill dan pasca diklat mencakup post-test hingga refleksi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatkan kompetensi softskill pegawai terutama dalam hal komunikasi, kreativitas, kepemimpinan dan pemecahan masalah.

This study aims to solve the problem of grouping books that are most often borrowed at the library and provide priority recommendations for procuring the right books. Currently the priority for procuring books at the Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi dan Manajemen Indonesia (STAMI) Library is still done manually. To overcome this problem, two methods are used, namely the K-Means method which functions to group books based on the number of book titles and the ELECTRE method which is used to prioritize books to be purchased. The decision support system built using the ELECTRE method utilizes criteria consisting of the number of books borrowed, copies, book prices, and majors. The results of this study are a web-based decision support system consisting of 11 alternatives grouped, namely: Buku-013, Buku-063, Buku-072, Buku-074, Buku-075, Buku-076, Buku-084, Buku - 092, Book-102, Book-122, and Book-125. With this Decision Support System, the Library of the Indonesian College of Accounting and Management can easily prioritize procuring books in the library.
