Abstract

The problem in this research is the description of the characters in the novel Cinta Di Dalam Gelas and Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source of this research is the novel Cinta Di Gelas and Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata, while the data in this study are the physical descriptions of the characters. Data collection techniques in this study are storytelling analysis techniques. The results showed that the character in the novel Cinta Di Dalam Gelas and Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata that was described was the physical character in the novel. This proves that the novel Cinta Di Dalam Gelas and Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata can be the result of the design of teaching materials in learning Indonesian language and literature in high school. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi tokoh dalam novel Cinta Di Dalam Gelas dan Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini novel Cinta Di Dalam Gelas dan Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata, sedangkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi fisik tokoh. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis kutipan cerita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh dalam novel Cinta Di Dalam Gelas dan Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata yang di deskripsikan adalah fisik tokoh dalam novel tersebut. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa novel Cinta Di Dalam Gelas dan Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata dapat menjadi hasil rancangan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SMA. Keywords: physical description of the figure, novels, the lesson plan.

Abstract

The problem of this research is related to the characterization in the novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu by Tere Liye. This study aims to describe the types of characterizations in the novel, describing the technique of presenting characters in the novel, and it’s implications for learning planning in high school. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Technical data collection by reading, identifying characters, the implications of learning design in schools. The results showed that 1) the finding of various types of characterizations, 2) there is a technique of presenting characters, 3) it can be implied in the design of learning in high school. Tujuan penelitian ini berkaitan dengan penokohan dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu karya Tere Liye. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis penokohan,  mendeskripsikan teknik penyajian tokoh, dan implikasinya terhadap rancangan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA.  Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan membaca, identifikasi tokoh,  implikasi rancangan pembelajaran di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) ditemukannya berbagai jenis penokohan dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu Karya Tere Liye, 2) terdapat teknik penyajiah tokoh dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu Karya Tere Liye, 3) dapat diimplikasikan rancangan pembelajaran di SMA. Keywords: Characterization, Novel, Qualitative

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the learning scenarios for writing report text of observations by using problem based learning in senior high school and how its' feasibility. The purpose of this study is to develop the learning scenario in senior high school, and describe the feasibility of the learning scenario. This research uses research and development method. The result of the research in form of learning scenarios of writing report text on the results of observations with a problem based learning model which was considered feasible. Preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities on the developed scenario design have presented material that is clear and in accordance with the selected basic competences. The problem based model chosen had been raised in the preliminary and closing activities, and was presented in a coherent and clear manner in the core activities. Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah bagaimana skenario pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi berbasis masalah di SMA dan bagaimana kelayakannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan skenario pembelajaran di SMA, serta mendeskripsikan kelayakan skenario pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil dari penelitian berupa produk skenario pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dianggap sudah layak. Kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup pada rancangan skenario yang dikembangkan sudah menyajikan materi yang jelas dan sesuai dengan KD yang dipilih. Model berbasis masalah yang dipilih sudah dimunculkan pada kegiatan pendahuluan dan penutup, serta disajikan secara runtut dan jelas pada kegiatan inti. Keywords: scenario development, problem based learning, report text of observation result

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the creative process of Nina Nurrahmah as the author of the novel The Power of A Dream and its implementation in the design of learning literature in high school class XII. This research was conducted to overcome the problems that exist in high school class XII regarding novel design. The results showed that there was a series of creative processes that Nina went through. Nina's creative process starts from the urge to write, activities before writing, activities during writing, to activities after writing. Starting from the reason for writing, conducting interviews before writing, the repetitive activities carried out while writing, until the stage where the work was finished all reflecting Nina's cultural, religious, and educational background. All of Nina's creative processes are very worthy of being used as inspiration in creating effective and interesting learning, which can be implemented in the RPP (Learning Implementation Plan).Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan proses kreatif  Nina Nurrahmah sebagai pengarang  novel The Power of A Dream dan implementasinya pada rancangan pembelajaran sastra di SMA kelas XII. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terdapat di SMA kelas XII tentang perancangan novel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif.  Proses kreatif Nina dimulai dari dorongan untuk menulis, kegitan sebelum menulis, kegiatan selama menulis, hingga kegiatan setelah menulis. Mulai dari alasan menulis, melakukan wawancara terlebih dahulu sebelum menulis, kegiatan berulang yang dilakukan saat menulis, hingga sampai pada tahap karya selesai ditulis semua sangat mencerminkan latar belakang budaya, agama, dan pendidikan Nina. Semua proses kreatif Nina ini sangat layak untuk dijadikan inspirasi dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik, dapat diimplementasikan ke dalam rancangan RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran). Keywords: Tcreative, process, learning literatureDOI Artikel: https://doi.org/10.23960/J-Simbol/v10i1.2022.06

Abstract

This training aims to provide insight and understanding to Lampung language teachers throughout Bandarlampung about oral traditions, especially interview and piasan. The benefits obtained through this service are that it can improve abilities and skills in reading and developing the oral tradition of interviewing and piasan. in the context of maintaining and preserving the oral tradition of wawancan and piasan in Lampung Province. This service activity was carried out at FKIP, University of Lampung, involving all Regional Language Subject Teachers in Bandar Lampung City. The method used in this training is the work instruction training method. The number of participants for this training is 20 teachers who are members of the Lampung Language and Script MGMP throughout Bandar Lampung City. The success of this activity is measured by the assessment of results and processes. The success of this training is measured by evaluating the performance of reading interviews and writings by individual trainees. Furthermore, the process assessment is measured through an instrument in the form of a questionnaire that focuses on the aspects of the usefulness and success of the training implementation, which includes both training materials and training facilities and infrastructure. After participating in the training on reading interviews and writings, the competence of the teachers in reading interviews and writings has increased..
