This research aimed to find out the influence of think pair share learning model towards students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into 12 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-B and VIII-C class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used the pretest posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through test of mathematical communication skill. Data analysis for testing of hypothesis in this research used t-test. Based on the research and discussion it was concluded that the Think Pair Share Learning Model has no effects towards the students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 12 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-B dan VIII-C yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan the pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Analisis data untuk pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan Uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, model pembelajaran Think Pair Share tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, think pair share, kemampuan komunikasi matematis
