Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning of think pair share in terms of the students mathematical reasoning skill. The population of this research was all students of grade eighth of Junior High School 1 Seputih Mataram in academic year of 2016/2017 as many as 180 students that were distributed into five classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIIB dan VIIIC class which were chosen by cluster random sampling. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning of think pair share wasnt effective in terms of students mathematical reasoning skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 180 siswa yang berdistribusi dalam lima kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIB dan VIIIC yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitan ini menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, penalaran matematis, think pair share

Abstract

This research development aims to find out how the result of developing LKPD based on PBL and its effectiveness to mathematical communication and disposition ability of students. Subjects in this research development is students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu Academic Year 2016/2017. The research data was obtained through mathematical communication test and mathematical disposition scale of the students. Preliminary study results indicate the need for the development of LKPD based on PBL. Validation results indicate that LKPD has met the content and design feasibility standards. The results of a limited trial show that LKPD is included in either category. The conclusion of this research are (1) improvement of students' mathematical communication and disposition ability following learning using LKPD based on PBL  higher than students who follow conventional learning and, (2) LKPD based on PBL is effective for improving students' mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition of students. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil mengembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL serta efektifitasnya terhadap kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes komunikasi matematis dan skala disposisi matematis siswa. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD berbasis PBL. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD berbasis PBL lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, dan (2) LKPD berbasis PBL efektif untuk meningkatkan ke­mampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: LKPD PBL, komunikasi matematis, disposisi matematis

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the differences of students understanding of mathematical concepts in cooperative learning model of think talk write (TTW) and numbered heads together (NHT) type with posttest only design. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of MTs Mathlaul Anwar Gisting, even semester in academic year of 2014/2015. The samples of this research were students of VII.D and VII.E which were taken by purposive random sampling. Based on the result of research, it was gotten the conclusion that the students understanding of mathematical concepts in cooperative learning model of TTW type was higher than students understanding of mathematical concepts in the cooperative learning model of NHT type.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write (TTW) dan numbered heads together (NHT) dengan posttest only design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Mathlaul Anwar Gisting semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.D dan kelas VII.E yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of the cooperative learning model of two stay two stray type towards the student’s mathematical communication  ability. The population of this research was all of grade seventh students in second semester of SMP Al- Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2013/2014 as much as 281 students who where distributed into 7 classes. Then, it was taken two classes, that were VII F and VII G class as samples by purposive random sampling technique. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of two stay two stray type influences the student's mathematical communication ability. It was shown by gain of the student's mathematical communication ability with the cooperative learning model of two stay two stray type was higher than conventional learning.Penelitian ekperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Al–Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 281 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam 7 kelas. Kemudian, diambil 2 kelas yaitu kelas VII F dan VII G sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Abstract

This research aimed to know the effectiveness of theimplementationof guided inquiry model in increasing students mathematical communications skill. The population of this research was all students of grade eight of SMPN 3 Natar South Lampung in academic year of 2016/ 2017. The sample of this research was students of VIIIJ class that was determined by purposive sampling. The design of this research was one group pretest-posttest design. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that the implementation of guided inquirymodel was effective in increasing students mathematical communications skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model guided inquirydalam meningkatkankemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Natar Lampung Selatantahun pelajaran 2016/2017.Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIJyang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Abstract

This experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of discovery learning model in terms of students’ mathematics communication . The population of this research was all students of grade 8 in  Junior High School no 21 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2016/2017 speading into 11 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII A and VIII D class which were chosen by cluster random sampling technique. This research used the pretest–posttest control group design. By the results of data analysis mathematical communication skill who treated by discovery leaerning more than the students who tread by conventional learning. The students who treated by dicovery learning less than 60%. The data analysis this research used t test and proportion test. Based on the results of the research and discussion it was concluded that the implementation of discovery learning model wasn’t effective viewed by students mathematical communication skill. Keywords: discovery learning, effectivity, mathematical communication skill Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran discovery learning ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 11 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII D yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest–posttest control group design. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t dan uji proporsi. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran discovery lebih tinggi daripada yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran discovery memiliki kemampuan komunikasi terkategori baik kurang dari 60% dari banyak siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran discovery learning tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: discovery learning, efektivitas, komunikasi matematis

Abstract

The design which was used was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade seven of SMPN 3 Way Pengubuan in academic year of 2014/2015 and the samples of this research were students of VIIA and VIIB class that were determined by purposive sampling. The data of students understanding of mathematical concepts were obtained by essay testand the data of students prior knowledge of mathematics were obtained by multiple-choice test. This research concluded that the implementation of discovery learning was effective viewed by the students conceptual understanding and prior knowledge of mathematics, and more effective than conventional learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas discovery learning ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan awal matematika siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah preetest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Way Pengubuan pada tahun akademik 2014/2015 dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh dari tes uraian dan data kemampuan awal matematika diperoleh dari tes pilihan berganda. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan discovery learning efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dan kemampuan awal matematika siswa, serta lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: discovery learning, kemampuan awal, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate whether cooperative learning model of three-step interview type can increase students’ mathematical communication skill. This research design was pretest-posttest control design. This research population was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into 10 classes. This research samples were students of VIII.1 and VIII.2 class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Based on data analysis, it was found that students’ mathematical communication skill who followed cooperative learning model of three-step interview type was higher than direct learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of three-step interview type can increase students’ mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran koope­ra­tif tipe three-step interview dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi mate­matis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gadingrejo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 10 kelas. Sam­­pel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.1 dan VIII.2 yang dipilih dengan tek­nik purposive sampling. The population of this research was grade 9th students of junior high school state of 2 of Adiluwih in academic year of 2014/2015. The samples of this research were students of IXD and IXB class that were determined by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was post-test only control design. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of NHT type was effective viewed by students mathematical communication ability.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Abstract

This research was aimed at finding out how the result of Students Worksheet development by using LAPS-Heuristic model in order to facilitate the students capability in solving their Mathematics problem. This research is Research and development by using Borl and Gall development model which was done in 7 steps research; they are preface research, planning, developing early product design, validating design, revising product, trial and error the product, and revising product. The subjects of this research are the 8th B students of SMP 11 Maret Sumberagung-Pringsewu in the academic year 2016-2017. The result of preface research shows the necessity on developing Students Worksheet through problem based model. The result of the research shows that the Students Worksheet has already fulfilled the content properness standard and design. The result of trials field shows that Students Worksheet by using LAPS-Heuristic model can facilitate the capability in Mathematics problem solving.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil pengembangan LKPD dengan model LAPS-Heuristic dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian R D dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang dilaksankaan dalam tujuh tahap penelitian, yaitu penelitian pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan desain produk awal, validasi desain, revisi produk, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.B SMP 11 Maret Sumberagung Pringsewu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD dengan model berbasis masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD dengan model LAPS-Heuristic dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.Kata kunci: LKPD, LAPS-Heuristic dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika
