Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of handouts based on Guided Note Taking on the system material of three-variable linear equations and to determine the quality of handouts in terms of validity and practicality. This research is a development research that refers to the 4D development model namely define, design, develop, disseminate. The subjects in this study were 2 teachers and 5 students of SMA Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga. The instruments used to measure the quality of the handouts developed included expert questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires. Expert questionnaires were used to measure the validity of the handouts, while teacher and student response questionnaires were used to measure the practicality of the handouts. The research product was a handout based on Guided Note Taking on the material of the system of linear equations of three variables for class X SMA. The results showed that from the aspect of validity it was included in the valid category with an average score of 75 based on the assessment of two expert lecturers (material, design and language experts); of the two teachers' responses with an average of 42.5 were in the good category and the student responses with an average of 41.8 were in the good category so that the practicality aspect was categorized as practical based on the results of the handout user's response. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the handout based on guidance notes on the material for the three-variable linear equation system developed is valid and can be used practically in learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAKEtnomatematika dianalogikan sebagai lensa untuk memandang dan memahami matematika sebagai sutau hasil budaya. Lampung merupakan salah satu provinsi yang terletak di pulau Sumatera yang memiliki corak kebudayaan tersendiri. Bentuk- bentuk kebudayaan itu tentu terkandung konsep matematika yang mendasarinya, termasuk tari tradisonal Lampung sigeh penguten. Oleh karenanya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian mengenai etnomatematika dalam gerakan tari sigeh penguten. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam jenis penelitian deskiptif kualitatif dengan menggunaka etnografi sebagai metode penelitian. Teknik pemilihan subjek menggunakan purpose sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari instrumen utama yaitu peneliti sendiri dan instrumen bantu berupa pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan alat dokumentasi.Pengujian kevalidan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat konsep matematika dalam gerakan tari tradisional Lampung sigeh penguten. Etnomatematika yang dimaksud dalam gerakan tari tersebut meliputi aktivitas menghitung, aktivitas mengukur, dan pola geometri. ABSTRACTEthnomatematics is analogous as a lens for viewing and understanding mathematics as a cultural product. Lampung is a province located on the island of Sumatra which has its own cultural style. Of course, these cultural forms contain mathematical concepts that underlie them, including the traditional Sigeh Penguten Lampung dance. Therefore this study aims to conduct a study of ethnomathematics in the Sigeh Penguten dance movement. This research belongs to the type of qualitative descriptive research using ethnography as a research method. The subject selection technique uses purposive sampling. The instruments in this study consisted of the main instrument, namely the researcher himself and auxiliary instruments in the form of interview guides, observation sheets, and documentation tools. Testing the validity of the data in the study used technical triangulation. The results of the study show that there is a mathematical concept in the movements of the sigeh penguten Lampung traditional dance. The ethnomathematics referred to in the dance movement includes counting activities, measuring activities, and geometric patterns.
