Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models in improving student learning achievement. This research was quasi-experimental study with pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design. The research samples were students of VIIC and VIID class which are selected by cluster random sampling. The research data were quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative data obtained from the average of pretest, posttest, and N-gain values that were statistically analyzed by t-test and U-test. The qualitative data were student learning activities and student response to using guided inquiry learning models that were descriptively analyzed. The results showed that using guided inquiry learning models can not increase student learning achievement with an average value of N-gain was 62.97. However, the student learning activities include asking the question (40.56%), formulating hypotheses (52.22%), and analyzing data (45.56%) were increased. In addition, most students gave positive response to using guided inquiry learning models. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen semu dengan desain pretes-postes kelompok non-ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIC dan VIID yang dipilih dengan cluster random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa dan tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran ikuiri terbimbing yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing tidak dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar 62,97. Namun, aktivitas belajar siswa mencakup mengajukan pertanyaan (40,56%), merumuskan masalah (52,22%), dan menganalisis data (45,56%) meningkat. Selain itu, sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar siswa, hasil belajar siswa, model inkuiri terbimbing

Abstract

Students achievement is the ultimate goal is linked to the implementation of the learning process. Observations in X grade Senior High School 1 Natar, known that student activity and achievement is low. This study aimed to determine the effect of PBL models in improving student activity and achievement. The design was non-equivalent control group. The sample was class X3and X5 selected by purpossive sampling. This data is quantitative and qualitative form. Quantitative data obtained average value of the pretest, posttest and N-gain on Biodiversity material. Qualitative data obtained percentage average of students activities and responses of uses PBL models was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the use of PBL models can improve student learning activities with an average of 66% it is also evident from the increase observed for all aspects. Students achievement in the experimental class also increase with average value of N-gain is 67,38. In addition, all students gave positive response to the use of PBL models. Thus, it can be concluded that the uses PBL models is influential in increasing the students activity and achievement. Abstract

The aims of this study were to determine the significance, correlation level, direction of correlation and contribution of knowledge about the ecosystem with attitude of environmental care. The design of this research was descriptive correlational. The subjects of this study were 98 VIII grade students of Junior High School 7 Bandar Lampung that determined by cluster random sampling technique. Data of knowledge and data of environmental that was taken using multiplechoice test and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a simple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant correlation between the knowledge with the attitude by the Sig value. 0.000 0.05; (2) the level of correlation of knowledge and attitude was moderate with the value R = 0,594. (3) the direction of correlation between knowledge and attitude was positive with the regression line equation that Y = 65,989 + 0,306X; (4) contribution of knowledge to attitude that was equal to 35%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi, tingkat korelasi, arah hubungan, dan kontribusi pengetahuan tentang ekosistem dengan sikap peduli lingkungan. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung sebanyak 98 siswa dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data pengetahuan dan sikap diperoleh dari hasil tes dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap dengan nilai Sig. 0,000 0,05; (2) tingkat korelasi antara pengetahuan dengan sikap adalah sedang dengan nilai R = 0,594; (3) arah hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap adalah positif dengan persamaan garis regresi yaitu Y = 65,989 + 0,306X; (4) kontribusi pengetahuan terhadap sikap sebesar 35%.Kata kunci: ekosistem tentang pengetahuan, sikap peduli lingkungan, siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the students questioning skill and quality of male and female students question based on Bloom's taxonomy revision. This study design using simple descriptive design. The samples were selected by simple random sampling technique that were class VII-1, VII-2, VII-3, VIII-1, VIII-3 and VIII-4 junior high school. The data in were qualitative data that were the questioning skill and quality of male and female students question. The accumulation data technique used observation and questionnaire. The data were obtained from percentage with descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the questioning skill of students classified in "medium" category with a percentage of 53.59%. In addition, male students was 12.32% more often asking question than female students with low-level cognitive question that was 28.46%, was dominant by level question C2 that was 16.87%.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterampilan bertanya dan kualitas pertanyaan siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan berdasarkan taksonomi Bloom revisi. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif sederhana. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling yaitu siswa kelas VII-1, VII-2, VII-3, VIII-1, VIII-3, dan VIII-4 SMP. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif yaitu keterampilan bertanya dan kualitas pertanyaan siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Data yang telah diperoleh dihitung dalam bentuk persentase dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bertanya siswa tergolong sedang dengan persentase sebesar 53,59%. Selain itu, siswa laki-laki diketahui 12,32% lebih banyak bertanya dibandingkan siswa perempuan dengan kualitas pertanyaan tergolong dalam pertanyaan kognitif tingkat rendah sebesar 28,46% yang didominansi oleh pertanyaan C2 sebanyak 16,87%.Kata kunci: gender, keterampilan bertanya, kualitas pertanyaan, taksonomi Bloom

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between practicum implementation and science process skills on learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung on ecosystem material. The research sample was class X MIA 3 which was selected using a purposive sampling technique. This research is a correlational descriptive study. Research data were  qualitative and quantitative. The research instruments were observation sheets, questionnaires, and daily tests. Data analysis using Pearson correlation analysis techniques using the SPSS Statistics 17.0 program. The results showed that there was a relationship between the implementation of practicum and science process skills on student learning outcomes in the Ecosystem material. And there was no correlation between the implementation of practicum and science process skills simultaneously to the learning outcomes of students in class X MIA 3 in SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung in the Ecosystem material in the academic year 2018/2019.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pelaksanaan praktikum dan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung pada materi ekosistem. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIA 3 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif.  Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, angket, dan ulangan harian. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi pearson menggunakan program SPSS Statistics 17.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pelaksanaan praktikum danketerampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Ekosistem. Dan tidak terdapat hubungan pelaksanaan praktikum dan keterampilan proses sains secara simultan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA 3 di SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung pada materi Ekosistem tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sains, praktikum

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mastery of science material based on TIMSS test and internal factors in the form of learning motivation, learning habits, and students ability in answering question, and external factors that are parents education background. The sample in this reaserch was obtained from purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 105 students. Data collection techniques in this reaserch are TIMSS test, questionnaire, and interview of science subject teachers. The data analysis technique used to calculate the percentage that was interpreted into several category. The result indicates the student has enough categorize with the average (47,40). The external factors of the fathers educational background are categorized enough, and the internal factors of student learning habit are enough (52,71), the motivation to learn sience students categorized enough (60,10), and the abiity of students in answering the problem categorized enough (51,21)Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penguasaan materi IPA berdasarkan tes soal TIMSS dan faktor internal berupa motivasi belajarIPA, kebiasaan belajar, dan kemampuan siswa dalam menjawab soal, serta faktor eksternal yaitu latar belakang pendidikan orang tua. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 105 siswa dipilih dengan purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dari tes soal TIMSS, angket, dan wawancara Guru matapelajaran IPA. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menghitung persentase yang diinterpretasikan kedalam tabel kategori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tes soal TIMSS siswa berkategori cukupdengan rata-rata (47, 40). Faktor ekternal latar belakang pendidikan ayah yaitu berkategoricukup, dan faktor internal kebiasaan belajar siswa berkategori cukup (52,71), motivasi belajar IPA siswa berkategori cukup (60,10), dan kemampuan siswa dalam menjawab soal berkategori cukup (51,21).Kata kunci : faktor eksternal, faktor internal, IPA,TIMSS

Abstract

The aims of this study were to determine the value of significance, level of correlation, direction of correlation, and contribution of knowledge about the ecosystem to the attitude of environmental care. The research design was correlational study. The research subjects were 62 students of XI grade of Senior High School 4 Metro that were determined by cluster random sampling technique. The instruments were tests and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) The knowledge with the attitude have a significant correlation with the Sig. value 0,000 (p 0,05); (2) The correlation between knowledge with attitude has moderate level of correlation with R value 0,469; (3) The knowledge with attitude had positive correlation with the regression line equation that was 63,693 + 0,225X; and (4) The contribution of the knowledge to the attitude was 22 %.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai signifikansi, keeratan hubungan, arah hubungan, dan kontribusi pengetahuan tentang ekosistem terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Metro sebanyak 62 siswa yang ditentukan melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dan angket. Data berupa skor dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengetahuan dengan sikap memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,000 (p 0,05); (2) Hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap memiliki tingkat keeratan yang sedang dengan nilai R sebesar 0,469; (3) Pengetahuan dengan sikap memiliki arah hubungan yang positif dengan persamaan regresi yaitu 63,693 + 0,225X; dan (4) Kontribusi pengetahuan terhadap sikap sebesar 22%.Kata kunci: pengetahuan ekosistem, sikap peduli lingkungan, siswa

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation and problems on the life organization subject practicum of junior high schools grade VII students in Labuhan Ratu. The sample selection used purposive sampling technique. The design used is exploratory research design. Research data were obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and observations, then the data were analyzed descriptively using Miles and Huberman model. The researchs result showed that the implementation of life organization subject practicum has good criteria, with percentage average of practicum phases which have good criteria, and average of worksheet practicum which has good enough criteria. The problems encountered during the practicum exercise are the limited number of light microscopes, preserved animal and plant cells specimens, and students practicum worksheets prepared by the teacher only have good enough criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of life organization subject practicum in Labuhan Ratu has good criteria, although there are some problems in the implementation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan dan permasalahan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan di SMP kelas VII se-Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah desain riset eksploratori. Data penelitian diperoleh dari angket, wawancara, dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan berkriteria baik, dengan rata-rata persentase tahapan pelaksanaan praktikum berkriteria baik, serta rata-rata penyusunan LKS praktikum berkriteria cukup baik. Permasalahan yang ditemui saat pelaksanaan praktikum adalah keterbatasan jumlah mikroskop cahaya, keterbatasan jumlah preparat awetan sel hewan dan tumbuhan, serta LKS praktikum yang disusun oleh guru hanya bekriteria cukup baik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan se-Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu memiliki kriteria baik, walaupun terdapat beberapa permasalahan di dalam pelaksanaannya.Kata kunci: organisasi kehidupan, pelaksanaan praktikum, permasalahan praktikum

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of practical work and its problems in life organization subject in Junior High School. The samples were 7th grade science teachers who doing practical work in life organization subjectthat were taken by purposive sampling. The primary data werequestionnaire and interview from teachers and students. The secondary data were observation sheets of probelmsin practical work, the implementation of practical work, and assignment of student work sheet by teachers. Data were analyzed by Miles and Huberman model. The result showed that the implementation of practial workin life organization subject in Junior High School Teluk Betung Barat Sub District was very good criteria. The problems in the implementation of practical work were the limitation of materials and equipments provided by the laboratory. In the implementation steps, the students got difficulty to use the equipment,such as microscope. The students also gotdifficulty to make the conclusion of the practice.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan praktikum dan permasalahannya pada materi orga-nisasi kehidupan di SMP. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru IPA kelas VII yang melaksanakan praktikum pada materi organisasi kehidupan yang diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data berupa data primer yang berasal dari angket dan wawancara kepada guru dan siswa. Data sekunder berasal dari lembar observasi permasalahan praktikum, tahapan praktikum, dan penilaian LKS praktikum. Data dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan di SMP se-Kecamatan Teluk Betung Barat memilki kriteria sangat baik. Permasalahan pada pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan yaitu keterbatasan alat dan bahan yang disediakan oleh laboratorium. Pada tahap pelaksanaan praktikum, siswa kesulitan dalam menggunakan mikroskop dan membuat kesimpulan dari praktikum.Kata kunci: materi organisasi kehidupan, pelaksanaan praktikum, permasalahan praktikum

Abstract

This study aims to describe Mid-semester and end-of semester Biology test according to test and taxonomic bloom revision Anderson et al. The samples were 7 biology teachers who teach in high school sub district Gadingrejo with saturated sampling technique. The data were cognitive dimensions and test. The data analysis used t-test or U-test by using computer program spss 17.0 for windows with probability p-value 0.05, so H1 is accepted. The result on Mid-semester test showed there was significant difference on public and private schoolson C2 factual and conceptual. Whereas C1 and C3 on Mid-semester test and all cognitive aspects on end semester test showed there is no significant difference and all tests are dominated by plural choie.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan soal tes UTS dan UAS mata pelajaran biologi berdasarkan bentuk soal dan taksonomi Bloom revisi Anderson dkk. Sampel penelitian adalah 7 guru biologi yang mengajar di SMA se-Kecamatan Gadingrejo dengan teknik pengambilan sampling jenuh. Data berupa jumlah soal tiap jenjang kognitif dan bentuk soal, kemudian analisis dilakukan dengan uji perbedaan menggunakan uji-t atau uji-U menggunakan program SPSS 17.0 for windows dengan ketentuan p-value 0.05, maka H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian soal UTS, dimensi kognitif yang memiliki perbedaan antara sekolah negeri dan swasta adalah C2 faktual dan konseptual. Sedangkan dimensi kognitif C1 dan C3 pada soal UTS serta pada semua dimensi kognitif soal UAS, tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan dimana seluruh soal didominasi dalam bentuk pilihan jamak.Kata kunci : aspek kognitif, aspek pengetahuan, taksonomi Anderson
