Abstract

This study aimed to describethe students misconceptions and factors that affected misconception. Samples were 30 students that were selected by using saturated sampling technique. This study design was simple descriptive. Data were obtained from students and teachers, written test of identification misconception and questionnaire. Data were analysed using CRI methods ad misconceptions factors that were analyzed usig percentage formula and Pearson Product Moment Correlation test. The result showed that there were miscoception on studets percentage Misconception of 28,13%. Studets who have the highest miscoception on the chromosome was 38,33%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi siswa dan faktor yang mempengaruhi miskonsepsi. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas XII IPA Se-Kecamatan Tanjungkarang Barat Bandar Lampung berjumlah 30 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriftif sederhana. Data diperoleh dari soal tes tertulis identifikasi miskonsepsi dan pemberian angket siswa dan guru. Analisis data miskonsepsi menggunakan metode CRI dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi miskonsepsi dianalisis menggunakan rumus persentase serta uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi miskonsepsi siswa sebesar 28,13%. Siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi paling tinggi pada konsep kromosom sebesar 38,33%.Kata kunci: Certainty of Response Index (CRI), miskonsepsi, substansi genetika

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze implementation and problems of practical work on the life organization concepts. The samples were sains teachers in VII junior high school of Enggal district which was doing practical life organization which chosen by purposive sampling. The design used was exploratory research. The type of data was descriptive research. The accumulation data techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitative Miles and Hubermans model. The research result showed about practical work implementation were responses teachers included excellent criteria, responses students included good criteria, score of step practical work implementation and arranging of worksheets students included good criteria. The problem of practical work such as ineffective time alocation, there was no laboratory assistant, lack of microscope, and practical guide using students handbook. According to the result, concluded implementation of life organziation practical work in junior high school of Enggal district was very good criteria although there are the problems practical workTujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan dan permasalahan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan. Sampel penelitian adalah guru IPA kelas VII SMP se-Kecamatan Enggal yang melakukan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan secara purposive sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain riset eksploratori. Jenis data berupa data deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktikum tanggapan guru berkriteria sangat baik, tanggapan siswa berkriteria baik, hasil observasi tahapan pelaksanaan praktikum dan penilaian penyusunan LKS praktikum/LKPD praktikum berkriteria baik. Permasalahan pelaksanaan praktikum yaitu waktu pelaksanaan praktikum kurang efektif, tidak adanya laboran, mikroskop yang kurang memadai, dan petunjuk praktikum menggunakan buku siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan di SMP se-Kecamatan Enggal terlaksana dengan kriteria sangat baik walaupun terdapat permasalahan praktikum.Kata kunci: organisasi kehidupan, pelaksanaan praktikum, permasalahan praktikum

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Adiwiyata program on environmental literacy and environmental care attitudes. The research design used was post facto design. The sampling technique is random sampling. The sample used was 58 students taken from 20% of the total student population in SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Research data obtained from test questions and questionnaires, then analyzed using the independent sample t-test. The results showed an environmental literacy value of 72.0. The results of students' environmental care attitudes about aspects of trust, perception and knowledge of the environment amounted to 73.0. The results of students' environmental care attitudes aspects of individual feelings towards the object of attitudes concerning emotional problems with the environment by 70.0. The results of students' environmental care attitudes aspects of the tendency to act or behave towards the environment of 81.0. Hypothesis test results indicate that there is an influence of the Adiwiyata program on environmental literacy as evidenced by the Sig0,000 ≤ 0.05 value.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program Adiwiyata terhadap literasi lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain expost facto. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Sampel yang di gunakan berjumlah 58 siswa yang diambil dari 20% jumlah populasi siswa/i di SMA Negeri 2 Bandar lampung. Data penelitian diperoleh dari soal tes dan kuisioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sampel t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai literasi lingkungan sebesar 72,0. Hasil sikap peduli lingkungan siswa aspek kepercayaan, persepsi dan pengetahuan tentang lingkungan sebesar 73,0. Hasil sikap peduli lingkungan siswa aspek kecenderungan untuk bertindak atau berprilaku terhadap lingkungan sebesar 81,0. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh program Adiwiyata terhadap literasi lingkungan dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig0,000 0,05.Kata kunci: Adiwiyata, literasi lingkungan, sikap peduli lingkunganhttp://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v8.i1.01

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of practice and its problem in life organization subject in junior high school on district Sukarame. The study use exploratory design and qualitative approach. The sample were science teachers in 7th grade who doing practice in life organization subject there are 4 teachers, which selected by purposive sampling technique. The data were primary and secondary. Primary data were obtained from teachers and student responses questionnaire, and interview, while secondary data were obtained by photo, observation sheet of practical stage, the assesment sheet of preparation practical worksheet, practical problem checklist and biodata of science teacher. Data were analyzed by Hubermann and Miles model. The result showed that criteria of the implementation of practice in life organization subject in junior high school on district Sukarame was very good. The problem that encountered in the practice were less of the science teacher role to conditioned the students and practice materials that brought by students was limited.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan praktikum dan permasalahannya pada materi organisasi kehidupan di SMP se-Kecamatan Sukarame. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain eksploratori dan pendekatan kualitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru IPA kelas VII yang melakukan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan sebanyak 4 guru, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui angket tanggapan guru maupun siswa, dan wawancara guru maupun siswa, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui foto, lembar observasi praktikum, lembar penilaian penyusunan LKS/LKPD praktikum, daftar ceklis permasalahan praktikum dan biodata guru IPA. Data dianalisis berdasarkan model Hubermann dan Miles. Hasil menunjukkan kriteria pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan di SMP se-Kecamatan Sukarame sangat baik. Permasalahan yang dijumpai adalah kurangnya peran guru IPA dan bahan praktikum yang masih dibawa oleh siswa sangat terbatas.Kata kunci: organisasi kehidupan, pelaksanaan praktikum, permasalahan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance, closeness, direction, and contribution of knowledge about environmental pollution with the attitudes of students in 3R waste management in high school. The design used in this study was correlational descriptive design. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The research data was obtained from tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques was simple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that there was a significant relationship between knowledge about environmental pollution with attitudes in waste management 3R method. There was a closeness relationship with low category and a positive relationship between the two variables. Knowledge of environmental pollution contributes low to attitudes in 3R waste management method.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan signifikansi, keeratan, arah, dan kon-tribusi dari pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan dengan sikap peserta didik dalam pengelolaan sampah 3R di SMP. Desain yang digunakan pada pene-litian ini adalah desain deskriptif korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel meng-gunakan cluster random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan tes dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara  pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan dengan sikap dalam pengelolaan sampah metode 3R. Selain itu, terdapat keeratan hubungan dengan kategori rendah dan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kedua variabel. Pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan memberikan kontribusi yang rendah terhadap sikap dalam pengelolaan sampah metode 3R.                                                                               Kata kunci: hubungan, metode 3R, pengelolaan sampah, pengetahuan, sikap.

Abstract

Higher education institutions have come under fire for their perceived restrictive tactics and lack of diversity among students and faculty. This article dives into the possible synergy between anthropology and critical consciousness, drawing inspiration from Paulo Freire's seminal contributions. The major goal is to create a revolutionary transition in higher education toward a more inclusive educational paradigm. Furthermore, this study investigates the influence of political landscapes on educational curriculum, emphasizing the need for a revolutionary pedagogical framework that fosters critical consciousness in both students and instructors. The prospect of developing a more equitable and inclusive learning environment within higher education becomes reachable via the harmonic integration of different pedagogical techniques, one that is sensitive to the diverse requirements of all learners. This attempt, however, is not without difficulties, such as opposition to change and the political terrain's intricacies. Professional development opportunities and coordinated efforts between educators, administrators, and policymakers are required for successful implementation. To summarize, the priority of social responsibility in higher education is evident, and adopting transformational pedagogy is critical for tackling the multiple issues inherent in the twenty-first century.

Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is very important for learners to master because they can develop the critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills needed to face complex challenges in daily life This study aims to examine the HOTS of students on the use of the Argumentative LiveWorksheet of Plant Tissue Structure through the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is a quasi-experiment using a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The subject of this study is 60 students of grade VIII of junior high school in Metro City which are divided into experimental classes and control classes. The research instrument is in the form of a HOTS essay test that measures the ability to analyze (C4), evaluate (C5), and create (C6) according to Bloom's taxonomy. In addition, questionnaire instruments are also used to find out students' responses to the learning carried out. The results showed that the experimental group that used the LiveWorksheet argumentative with the Discovery Learning model had a significantly higher HOTS score when compared to the control group. The argumentative LiveWorksheets with Discovery Learning creates a more dynamic learning environment by encouraging active student involvement in discussions, arguments, discovery, and reflective practices.
