Abstract

The research purposes were to increase students democracy attitude, teacher performance and study result by applying think pair share model. Type of research method was classroom action research by using some cycles; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collecting techniques were observation sheet and question test. The techniques of analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the applying think pair share model can increase studentsdemocracy attitude and study result of civic education.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan sikap demokrasi, kinerja guru dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model think pair share. Jenis metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model think pair share dapat meningkatkan sikap demokrasi dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: think pair share, sikap demokrasi, kinerja guru, hasil belajar

Abstract

The purposes of research were to improve critical thinking skill and study result by implementation of discovery learning. Type of research method was classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by non test and test technique. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and instrument test. The techniques of analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the implementation of discovery learning could improve students critical thinking skill and study result of Mathematics.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan model discovery learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non tes dan tes. Alat pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan dan hasil belajar siswa Matematika.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, hasil belajar, discovery learning.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to improve the participation and study result by implementating cooperative learning type IOC. Type of research method was classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by non test and test technique. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and instrument test. The techniques of analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the implementation of cooperative learning type IOC can improve students participation and study result of IPS.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe IOC. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non tes dan tes. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe IOC dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar IPS.Kata kunci: partisipasi, hasil belajar, IOC.
