Abstract

The writing of this article is a survey research with the aim of knowing the relationship between mathematical disposition and self-efficacy of PGSD/ PGMI students in universities throughout Indonesia. This study used a total of 37 public and private universities with 357 students using questionnaire data collection techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. In addition, data analysis used Spearman's Rho. The results explained that the mathematical disposition with self-efficacy of PGSD / PGMI students in Indonesia based on the average questionnaire filling reached a correlation coefficient of 0.612 which was included in the very strong category. Sig. Value (2-tailed) obtained 0,000 which is smaller than 0.01 which means that there is a significant relationship between mathematical disposition variables and self-efficacy. This caused a strong positive relationship between mathematical disposition and student self-efficacy.

Abstract

The learning environment and learning interests are interconnected with each other. This study aims to examine the influence of the learning environment on the interest in learning mathematics of eighth grade students in SMPN 15 Yogyakarta. The method used is quantitative with the population in this study was 331 eighth grade learners with 67 respondents selected at random sampling. Primary data for this study were collected by distributing questionnaires to eighth grade students in SMPN 15 Yogyakarta. The software used is SPSS 25. The results of this study reveal that: First, Family Environment did not affect Learning Interest with a standard value at the P-value level > 0.05 (0.085 > 0.05); Second, School Environment did not affect Learning Interest with a standard value at the P-value level > 0.05 (0.146 > 0.05); Third, Community Environment has a significant effect on Learning Interest with a standard value at the P-value level<0.05 (0.000<0.05); Fourth, Family Environment, School Environment and Community Environment together have a significant effect on Learning Interest with an F-count of 19.301 > F-table of 2.7505 and the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) in R-Square obtains a value of 47.9%. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low connection between science learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and the local cultural context of students, which has an impact on the lack of optimal science literacy. Science learning tends to be abstract and textbook-oriented, while the integration of local Acehnese wisdom has not been structured in the learning design. This study aims to (1) analyse the needs of science learning based on local wisdom in Aceh as the basis for the development of the Seuramoe Saentia Learning Model and (2) measure the level of improvement in students' science literacy after the application of the model. The researcher uses a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects, based on the ADDIE model, comprised 138 grade V students from four MI in Langsa City, who were selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments are in the form of observation sheets and science literacy tests (20 pretest questions and 20 posttest questions). The validity of the model was tested using Aiken's V, while the increase in science literacy was analysed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, effect size, and N-Gain. The results showed that the model had a very high content validity (Aiken's V = 0.96). The Wilcoxon test showed the dominance of positive ratings without a decrease in scores, with an effect size of 0.87 (very large category). An average N-Gain value of 0.72 (high category) indicates a substantial and even increase in science literacy. These findings show that the systematic integration of local wisdom in science learning effectively improves students' science literacy. Implicitly, the Seuramoe Saentia Learning Model can be a strategic alternative in the development of science learning that is contextual, inclusive, and rooted in local culture in madrasas
