Abstract

Estuaries hidrofisis characteristic can be based on the moon changes phases as the earth's major satellite, distribution of physical variable position, flow rate, bed material transport, and weather condition in Indonesia (dry and wet season). Physical characteristic of flow rate and the change of bed material transport sliding as bed load along the estuaries is spatially functioned by an expert to study water flow characteristic. Analysis of velocity pattern as well as the moon phases and seasons becomes the determiner of spreading pattern of bed load that is important to perform later. Analysis of flow rate variable and bed load is especially based on the phases of the moon and seasons. Their change along the river estuary can show the characteristic of erosion change and sediment deposition in the estuary. Measurement in the rainy season was done during full moon and first quarter moon, as well as in the dry season of full moon when sea level rises and downs. Identification of estuaries flow shows six measurement segments and seventeen measurement positions which becomes the basic analysis of hidrofisis variable change along the estuaries. The measured variable during high tide includes water flow around the riverbed surface, bed load concentration, material diameter of riverbed, water flow of river bed surface during high tide, and bed load concentration. Analysis of hidrofisis characteristic of estuaries will refer to two things, firstly, profile of water flow parameter and load change of basic material. Secondly, modeling and data interpolation stated in absolute mean deviation and bias in data of modeling result as well as interpolation towards data of measurement result. Water flow characteristic during low tide in rainy season of full moon shows higher price compared to the first quarter of rainy season. It becomes different in the rainy season of full moon and is much lower with the decrease of gradient, that happens during high tide. While estuary hidrofisis characteristic, bed material transport of dry season during high tide of full moon is larger than rainy season during high tide of full moon and first quarter moon. Water discharge improvement is always accompanied by flow rate increase (in the rainy season). During wet season, change of bed material transport is much more than dry season. Bed material transport curves sand in the Ranoyapo estuary is slightly small to be  transported by flow velocity. It causes considerable high conveyance of bed material transport, even bed material load is not settled on river estuary but continued by stream into beach. Dry season of full moon with lower flow velocity compared to the rainy season of full moon and first quarter phase is evidently enough to settle bed material transport along the river estuary.  Key Words: Bed Material Transport, Estuaries ups and downs, Moon Phases, Stream

Abstract

The Community Service program entitled The Improvement of Bepang Cake Quality Production and Marketing is focused on 4 main activities, namely (1) counseling on institutional strengthening and group members as partners, (2) counseling on dialogue strategies to equalize perceptions, (3) training on management map preparation Bepang cake product development problems, and (4) training on the preparation of a roadmap for the management of problems developing Bepang cake products in order to improve product quality. These activities are aimed at (1) identifying and managing problems related to institutions and partner group members, (2) providing knowledge / insights about common perceptions strategies, in order to reach an agreement between institutional leaders and members regarding the management of institutional problems and members. , as well as improving the quality and marketing of Bepang cakes, (3) providing knowledge / insights to partners on how to manage group problems, in the form of problem management maps, and (4) roadmaps for implementing institutional and member strengthening programs, as well as quality improvement programs. and product marketing to provide clear directions for program implementation, carry out assistance, monitor and evaluate work processes and results. The final goal is to empower members of partner organizations / groups to resume business, improve the quality of production and marketing of Bepang cakes. Specific targets are (1) the spirit of group members' efforts to revive, (2) quality products, (3) varied flavors, (4) attractive packaging, (5) favorable prices, (6) independence and responsibility in doing business. . The method used is the lecture method, participatory method. The results are as follows: Phase I, institutional strengthening of group members (LM3) through counseling activities on management systems, training as a basis for being able to produce outputs as intellectual property rights how to seek innovations to increase the quality of Bepang cake production, including Industrial product design (draft ) so that it is feasible to sell at a higher price and how to independently break through the accessibility of marketing at the national, even global level. The second stage is evaluating the results of work in developing the processing of Cakes Bepang products that are of higher quality and accompanying the search for marketing accessibility. The 3rd stage, improving the quality of Industrial product design technology, so that it is feasible to sell at a higher price and how to independently break through better marketing accessibility at the national and global levels

Abstract

The problem in this study is the existence of community activities that dispose of household waste and toilet waste directly into the Poopoh River. This study aims to analyze and obtain river water quality data. This type of research is a quantitative research using a fixed sample water sampling method. The parameters measured were pH, DO (Dissolved Oxygen), BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), and TSS (Total Suspended Solid). The results showed that there had been a decrease in the quality of river water in the downstream part of the river as seen from the results of laboratory tests which stated that the pH level in the upstream part of the river reached 6.94 and downstream increased to 7.98. The level of BOD in the upper reaches of the river is 1.8 and in the lower reaches of the river rises to 26.95. The DO level in the upstream part of the river is 7.5 and at the downstream level, it drops to 1.62. The TSS level in the upper reaches of the river is 5 and in the lower reaches of the river, it has increased to 20. It can be seen that there has been a decrease in the quality of river water from upstream to downstream, especially in the parameters of BOD and DO.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of the variable of student interest in learning to motivation to learn, the contribution of the variable of parents' attention to learning motivation, the contribution of the variable of student learning facilities to learning motivation, the contribution of the variable of geography learning to learning motivation, and the contribution of the four variables together to student's motivation to study. The research uses quantitative methods, the data sources come from observations, documentation, and questionnaires, then analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the factors that influence students' learning motivation in geography are interest factors, parental attention, learning facilities, and geography learning. The interesting factor contributes to the motivation of 0.511. The parental attention factor contributed to the motivation of 0.694. The factor of learning facilities contributed to the motivation of 0.672. The geography learning factor contributed 0.514. The overall and joint contribution of the four variables to motivation is 0.752, and the rest is influenced by other factors that are not studied in the study. The dominant factor that affects learning motivation is the parent's attention factor, which is 0.694.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the physical potential and biophysical potential of natural tourist attractions in North Minahasa district. of the several tourist attractions in the North Minahasa district, the research objects chosen were Paal Beach and Pulisan Beach, East Likupang subdistrict because they are in the Likupang Special Economic Zone, part of the five super priority tourist destinations. The results of the research show that based on the award results, the physical potential in the Paal Beach and Pulisan Beach tourist attraction areas both received 51 awards, which means the level of potential is very high. Thus, Paal Beach and Pulisan Beach are natural tourist attractions that are worthy of being developed and promoted. The results of the biophysical potential assessment obtained a score of 10, which means a perfect score for the biophysical sub-variable. Thus, the existing biophysical potential is very worthy of being promoted and can be a tool to attract tourists to come on tour in the North Minahasa district.
