Abstract

Go Organic program already released since 2010 by Ministry of Agriculture to increase the implementation of organic farming in Indonesia. This research was aimed to analyze the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat and also to formulate developing strategy of organic rice in Semarang Regency. Survei method with structured questionnaires were used in this research, with farmers, consumers, distributors, cooperatives’ management and government employees (Ministry of Agriculture) as the respondents. Validity and reliability test were conducted to measure the questionnaires. Data were analyzed by SWOT analysis and IE matrics. Results showed that organic rice farming in Susukan District is located on Kuadran I with coordinates (0.61; 0.95). Internal result in IE matrics is 2.69 and external one is 2.52. It means that it’s on growth stability position (concentration through horizontal integration). The developing strategy that can be implemented are as followed: increasing the production of organic farming by optimizing existing resources; maintaining the quality of organic rice products and the brand image to the communities; expanding market networks by maintaining a good relationship and cooperation; improving the distribution channels; improving marketing promotion through the media; increasing farmers’ knowledge and skills by management training and financial management; strengthening the farmers’ capital by developing the cooperative; maintaining and empowering farmers’ groups.

Abstract

Bank was one of the important financial institutions in supporting economic growth, the bank was being an alternative source of capital for farmers to meet the needs of agricultural production facilities. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the attitudes of farmers towards Bank Syariah Mandiri products, analyze the attitudes of farmers toward Bank Syariah Mandiri products, analyze the influence of factors that influence the attitudes of farmers including education, age duration of farming, number of family dependents and income towards Bank Syariah Mandiri products in Grobogan Regency Gubug District. The method used in this study is a survey method. The study was conducted on Juny 14-July 30, 2019 in Trisari Village, Gubug District, Grobogan Regency. Research location was chosen intentionally and the method of determining the number of samples used is purposive sampling with non-probability techniques. The number of respondents is 47 people from the Farmer Group Subur Makmur. Data analyzed with descriptive analysis to analyze the attitudes of farmers, and the factors forming farmers 'attitudes towards Bank Syariah Mandiri Products while the quantitative analysis was used to determine the effect of attitude forming factors with farmers' attitudes towards Bank Syariah Mandiri Products in the Gubug District using multiple linear regression. Farmer's attitude towards Bank Syariah Mandiri Products in the category good/like with a score of 77.78%. Based on the F test shows that simultaneously there is a significant influence between the age of the farmer, the length of farming, the level of education the number of family dependents, and the income of farmers' Attitudes towards Bank Mandiri Syariah Products in Grobogan District. The length of farming, and the number of family dependents partially do not affect the farmers' attitudes towards Bank Syariah Mandiri Products. Based on the t test, the results show that the age of the farmer, the level of education, and income partially influences the attitude of the Farmers towards Bank Syariah Mandiri Products. Abstract

Agricultural extension is an activity carried out by agricultural instructors to improve skills, knowledge, and attitudes of farmers. Increasing the farmers’ knowledge may help to increase farm income and meet the family needs. This study aims to analyze the role of agricultural instructors, the income received by members of Rejeki Alami Women Farmer Group members, and the influence of the agricultural instructors’ role on the income of Rejeki Alami Women Farmer Group members. The research was conducted in Jimbaran Village, Kayen District, Pati Regency. Census sampling method was used by taking 30 members of Rejeki Alami Women Farmer Group. Data collection was carried out by commissioning, interview, and observation. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis, income analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the overall role of agricultural instructors on the group was fairly good with the percentage of 73.3%. The role of agricultural instructors as innovators, organizers, consultants, communicators, facilitators, and motivators is fairly good with the respective percentage values being 80%, 73.3%, 63.3%, 83.3%, 70% and 66.6%. The average income of the group members is IDR 260,326 per month in individual business, while their income in running group business is IDR 30,097. This shows that each member earns the same income in group business. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the role of agricultural instructors gives influence on the income of Rejeki Alami Women Farmer Group members.

Abstract

Agriculture Ministry through the Rural Agribusiness Development (PUAP) program was expected to reduce poverty and unemployment in rural areas by developing Microfinances Agribusiness Institution (LKM-A). LKM-A has a purpose to help farmers in rural areas to obtain capital resource for their agribusiness. However, the implementasion of LKM-A still not developed optimally. The research on the social performance of LKM-A were aims to analyze social performance, to analyze revenue generating of LKM-A and to analyze the relationship between social performance and revenue generating of LKM-A in Dawe District, Kudus Regency. This research was conducted in February 12th – April 5th, 2018 in Dawe District, Kudus Regency. Survey method was used in this research. 18 LKM-A was choosen as population in this research. The data was analyzed by Spearman correlation. Social performance was analyzed using MIX Market Social Performance Standards with 16 indicators. The result shows that only 3 indicators were in medium category (0 – 50%), namely capital resources, the ratio of female debtors and the ratio low income debtors. The revenue generating was not in developed category. Based on statistical analysis, there was not significant influence between social performance and revenue generating

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country where the majority of population has a livelihood as a farmers. Rice is one of the many agricultural commodities needed by the community to fulfill their daily needs. Rice farmers has problems running their farms so they join a group to solve the problem. Farmers group have a role as a learning class, a vehicle for cooperation, production units and business units, sampling is done using census method, the data taken is primary data and secondary data which is then analyzed using simple regression. The result of the study show that farmer group as a learning class has a high category, as vehicle of cooperation has a moderate category, as a production units has a moderate category and as a business units has a high category. Akasia farmer groups have taken on all the roles as a farmer groups. Advice given is the existence of a rice storage warehouse facility for members of the akasia farmer groups.

Abstract

 This research aims to analyze the role of Mandiri woman farmer group members, time allotment for productive and reproductive sector, access and control in family economy.  The research wasbegan on 29 November until 29 December 2018 at Mandiri woman farmer group. The research method is a survey with complete enumeration as many as 30 respondents. Data were collected usings questionnaires, depth-interview, observation, documentation, and records. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The research results showed thatmembers of Mandiri woman farmer group in household economy earned average income of Rp1,968,810.00 from participating in the Woman Farmer Group and side bussiness. Thetime spent on productive sector was 6 hours 2 minutes (23.4%) and on reproductive sector was 11 hours 2 minutes (44.3%).  On daily basis, women spend their time more on reproductive sector than productive. Abstract

Farm card program is tool of redemption transaction and payment of subsidized fertilizer for farmers. This research aimed to know the role of agricultural extension officers as a communicator, motivator and facilitator on the knowledge level of robusta coffee farmers about farm card program in Jumo District Temanggung Regency, to know the knowledge level of robusta coffee farmers about farm card program and to analized the influence of the role of agricultural extension officers role on the knowledge level ofrobusta coffee farmers about farm card program in Jumo District Temanggung Regency. This research was carried out on November 2017 until Januari 2018 in Jumo District Temanggung Regency. Research method wassurvey. Data analized with descriptive analysis and linear multiple regression analysis. Results of the research showed that the role of extension officers as a communicator, motivator, facilitator were good. The knowledge level of robusta coffee farmers about farm card program were good. The role of extension officers as communicators did not affecton the knowledge level of robusta coffee farmers about the farm card program, where as the role as motivator and facilitator influenced on the knowledge level of robusta coffee farmers about farm card program. The role of agricultural extension officers as a communicator, motivator and facilitator simultaneously influence the knowledge level of robusta coffee farmers about farm card program in Jumo District Temanggung Regency.
